Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
The hotel is really beautiful and modern, and it is located right next to a beach with dark sand. I think almost every room has an ocean view – we had an amazing view from our balcony.
The housekeeping service was excellent, and both the hotel and our room were always spotless. The food was really good, with plenty of options for everyone. The drinks were also great. There are several self-service stations where you can make coffee or tea, as well as pour yourself beer, wine, or soft drinks.
The evening entertainment was average – not bad, but nothing special. The staff was fine.
There is a bus stop near the hotel, making it easy to visit other places besides Taurito.
For smokers: This is a non-smoking hotel, and even e-cigarettes are prohibited. There are only a few designated smoking areas, and they are not very comfortable. There are no chairs, so you have to stand in direct sunlight.
Lovely location set in the mountains. The Atmosphere is very chilled the staff are nice . The rooms are nice and acess to rooms via bracelet key is such a good idea , a game changer in our eyes . The hotel is very clean and tidy the facilities all very clean . Noise level is normal for a hotel with entertainment. The pools were nice sizes good location to sun bed bars and snack bar very nice . Main restaurant was lovely . Good choice of food even for fussy eaters . Changed every day aswell lots of variety . Good choice of drinks at the bar the only down fall was bottled water is only offered to gold wrist bands so Esencia customer which I found abit disappointing as it meant we had to take a cup of water to the room or buy a bottle of water . Sun beds was never a problem but you can’t reserve before 10am or you get your towels removed me and my husband did have a giggle while seeing people go to breakfast only to come back and the towels had been removed . So just be aware but the staff are nice about it . So go to breakfast early or Esencia customers there is a cordoned off area . Esencia Customers also have an extra restaurant and do get more drinks etc on the cocktail list so when booking bare this in mind . This is something we didn’t know when we booked . But if you are looking for a nice chilled hotel this is for you .Would have given 5 stars if it wasn’t for the bottled water . Loved it
Great stay for 7 nights. Booked Esencia room which was spacious, clean and modern. The One restaurant was available for breakfast and was quieter than the main restaurant. Both were equally as good on food selection. Pool area was clean and sun loungers comfortable.
Would definitely return
Amazing hotel right next to the beach and a waterpark however not park of the hotel, 3 swimming pools all for different ages all inclusive was amazing you could go and grab a drink from anywhere, night time entertainment was really fun and hotel room nice cleaners cleaned it properly and nice staff and workers were amazing gift shop was nice and I would recommended this! But 2 complaints a kids bath toy was on top of our shower but didn’t effect us at all and food could be better but the had such a good selection and really nice selection! I would 100% recommend coming here with your family amazing quality overall amazing hotel and really nice. 5 STARS
Fifth visit to this hotel but sadly, won’t return. Lovely location, lovely rooms, lovely food, lovely staff. However, until we got there I wasn’t aware it had become a ‘two tier’ hotel. Since the renovation, you can now pay extra for a ‘gold wrist band’, (which I could have afforded but strongly object to). On our previous visits, we loved dining outside by the gardens, but now were told ‘in no uncertain terms’, we were not allowed due to having black wrist bands. This really upset us. At the same time, (early morning, very quiet), I stood near the bar whilst my wife went to the toilet. A male member of staff walked towards me, asked me to move, and placed a ‘wet floor’ sign where I’d been standing. (The floor wasn’t wet and I got the impression I shouldn’t be there wearing a black wrist bands and it was his way of telling me to ‘go away’)!. I know I’m in the minority as many people ‘enjoy’ paying the extra money, but if I go to a hotel, I don’t expect certain areas to be out of bounds. In my opinion, the hotel should just charge extra for EVERYONE, and give the extra benefits to EVERYONE, I’ve emailed reception more than once (since we returned last Thursday), asking for an email address for a member of the management team so as I can discuss with them before posting on here, but sadly my request seems to have been ignored, hence my posting now. Love the hotel, but won’t return unless they have a re-think on the two tier system.
