This family friendly all inclusive hotel is located right at Taurito beach. All of the rooms and suites enjoy magnificent views over the sea and beach. Puerto de Mogán, with its beautiful marina within 4 km and 9 km from Puerto Rico. Restaurants, bars and access to public transport are all located in the vicinity. This enchanting establishment offers large and bright rooms and suites, some of them feature a colourful design and the others pale violet tones, fitted with cosy furniture and modern amenities to make guests' stay as comfortable as possible. For dining and wining travellers may choose from 2 buffet-style restaurants and 4 bars. Children may delight in kids' playground, two paddling pools (one with a giant dragon) and hotel entertainment, while adults plunge at the freshwater pools, work out at the gym or relax at the sauna.

Disappointing
We are a little disappointed in our visit to this hotel. We arrived around 22.15pm and because we had a private transfer was the only people booking in at that time. It was a friendly welcome and an easy checkin. We were given a Rope type bracelet and what we thought was a room key, the standard plastic type credit card key. There is no luggage assistance to your room so after going up three floors to room 0309 it was annoying that we could not get in. I went back down to reception to then be told the bracelet is the room key and the card is for the electric, would have been nice to be told in the first place!! The room was decent size, clean but very basic. The bathroom was clean, basic but looked very tired. There is tea and coffee in the room but no milk, there is no water in the room even though the hotel is All inclusive but we will come to that later. Even though it was 23.00 pm it was still very warm so we put the air con on, the smell was disgusting, like raw sewage. We tried our best to sleep with the air con on but the smell was too bad so we turned it off, the downside of that was the heat so very little sleep. We complained the next day and they said it would be fixed but it was just the same at 18.00pm so they had no choice but to move us. Please note I have seen another review with the same problem!! Nice clean pool area with plenty of sun beds. All of the main areas like Restaurants, Bars and sitting areas are all modern well appointed and clean. The main restaurant was like being in a cattle market at times, although the food is good and plenty of it there was far too many people. They kept running out of Glasses, cups and tea spoons was a great find!! Now we will address the problem, apparently you can upgrade to GOLD All inclusive this gives you a better drinks package, access to different areas like better sun beds in an exclusive area and another exclusive dining area. Now this dining area appeared half empty thus cutting down the overhaul capacity of the Hotels dining by piling most people into a smaller area. This Gold was never offered at the time of booking or at the time of checking into the hotel, we were told by others that you have to ask at reception. Money making two tiered system!! Whilst we were there a Party of around 25 women turned up, they moved peoples belongings to get all their party together around the pool then started singing in the pool and also late at night on the terrace. apparently loads of complaints, Suppose to be a family hotel!! The resort is not the best, filthy walkways, overflowing bins not the best place to visit. Also if you don't like STRESS please avoid a trip to Gran Canaria, the Airport is a nightmare due to the new ESS system no organisation whatsoever. Will not return.

Warm and welcome
Excellent hotel staff very friendly and knowledgeable,food is just great I have been there 5 times now ,and will definitely go back again..
Terrible smell from air condioning !
We are currently here at the moment.On first impression of the hotel isthat it is beautiful .The food is good and reception and bar area are lovely.However the smell from the aircondioning is awful .If you turn it off and open the balcony door the ants come in !To be fair someone did come out to the airconditioning but it changed nothing.Im so disappointed as i would have recommended the hotel to friends and family .Just wondering if you upgrade whether them rooms smell as well ! Only halfway through our week and it has definately spoiled the whole experience.

Lovely but customer service could be better
2nd visit for us. 11 night stay during Scottish October school holidays, hotel very busy but not alot of school aged children. Overall cleanliness was very good, especially room cleaning. Dinner hall wasnt great as alot of tables were not wiped in-between people and when asked for clean cutlery, staff pulled it off another half used/ vacated table, so no way of knowing if it was actually clean or been up a child's nose. When asked for new clean cutlery was told NO - we were extra cautious when it came to this as our daughter smashed her chin and gum open on the small slide in the splash pool, requiring 2 days at the dentist, having to have a lost tooth reinserted and stitches inside her mouth, so we needed this basic hygiene. The restaurant managers (I think manager) response was "smile, it doesn't matter". We still never got clean cutlery and sourced our own. Today I asked for a late checkout tomorrow, as again, my daughter now has to take a lot of medication and requires a regular cleaning/ antiseptic programme, to prevent infection. I was told to check back tomorrow morning, which I appreciate is standard protocol, so asked if I can book the courtesy room in advance as we need a guarantee of this, for this reason and again was told NO, with absolutely no regard to the circumstance. The TUI rep has now got involved and managed to secure us the courtesy room, which we are very grateful for! The hotel knew what happened to our daughter in the splash pool, as they were the ones that dealt with the lifeguard on the day and asked for our room number, but at no point in the last week has anyone checked in with us to ask how she is or if she needs anything. I was also under the impression that the taxi was told where to go as we were given her tooth in a cup of milk and told to hurry, no time to waste, whilst she was pouring with blood and we had to sit in the taxi googling a dentist for him to take us to. It's a beautiful hotel, but unfortunately the basic level of service has been a bit non existent. What happened was an accident, but I would have thought the hotel could have done a standard check-in and offered us a late check out/ courtesy room without the need for drama. I appreciate this is an isolated incident for most guests, so other than that, lovely setting, well maintained, sunbeds are packed in a bit on top of each other, but can't be reserved before 10am, which is the main reason we returned as is a great policy - as is the room key wrist bands! Food hit and miss - Mexican night was lovely. Snack bar decent, foods kept warm and love the food warmer too, just wish guests would remember to use the grease proof paper as it keeps it more hygienic and also stops food sticking and putting it out of use. Disappointed that have to pay for crepes/ waffles (also very limited toppings), as this is normally included. I get not all guests use it, but then some of us also don't drink alcohol and that's included, so feel it's a bit unfair
