The property offers activities to be entertained and have a fun holiday. Business travellers might use the function rooms and then relax at the spa. Families will also enjoy a children's playground and the outdoor pool area.

A great stay
We had the pleasure of enjoying a wonderful stay at the Paradisus Gran Canaria hotel. The hotel made a fantastic impression on us — beautiful surroundings, high standards and a great atmosphere made for a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay, as did the exceptionally friendly service.
Special mention must go to Brahim, the bartender, who stood out for his exceptional dedication and professionalism. He was always smiling, attentive and helpful, and made sure that every detail was taken care of. His positive energy and outstanding service made every visit to the bar a pleasure and enhanced our entire stay.
People like Brahim are what make a hotel experience truly special. He is a real asset to Paradisus Gran Canaria and deserves special recognition for his hard work and commitment.
We will be very happy to return and will always look back fondly on our stay!
Family of three holiday
It’s a lovely resort and a wonderful place to spend a holiday with the family. The hotel is modern and beautifully maintained, the staff and service are brilliant, and the food has been very good throughout our stay.
We’ve spent a lot of time at the buffet for our meals and would particularly like to thank Merlinda. She has been incredibly lovely and friendly with our child and has really helped make our mealtimes enjoyable. She is such a warm and genuinely lovely person, and after only a short time she was already anticipating what we wanted, including our usual drinks, without us even having to ask. Service like this really makes a difference.
The only negative experience has been at the fresh meat station over the last two days. Unfortunately, we’ve stopped ordering from there because we’ve found the chef working at the station quite aggressive and stressful to deal with. We’ve also heard similar comments from some other guests. This is a shame, as the chef who was working there on the previous days was absolutely lovely and made the experience completely different.
Overall, we’ve had a really enjoyable family holiday and have been very impressed with the resort, the food and, in particular, the excellent service from staff such as Merlinda.
Pappy has also been very cool and friendly!
Very relaxing week, in beautiful surroundings
First time staying here, and was overall very impressed. Location is great - a short drive from the airport, and right on the beach which also has a dedicated 'promenade' which snakes around the coast up to Maspalomas - really enjoyed sunrise walks along here. Also appreciated the gym which was a great space compared to some hotels I've visited - free weights available, as well as a couple of treadmills, cross trainers, rowing machine, barbell etc. Very clean, with towels and water provided. The hotel itself is very nice, with immaculate grounds. We had an ocean view room on the fourth floor, which was possibly a bit smaller than expected, but nothing we couldn't live with. Plenty of storage, great shower, super comfy bed - also noticed how quiet it was, couldn't hear our neighbours at all even though I know they had a baby with them! Very good hairdryer, and a steamer were also in the room and appreciated. Main restaurant has done really well to not end up being 'canteen-y' - slightly dimmed lighting, plenty of plants, tasteful furniture etc which I appreciated. Managed to sit outside for all our meals, and the service was very efficient and friendly - the staff work very hard to clear tables quickly, and ensure you're served in a timely fashion. I loved the cold food - there were so many options to choose from at both breakfast and dinner. Loved the seafood and sushi selections in particular. The hot food at dinner was a bit uninspiring for me, but I was generally pretty full from my starter! Desserts also yum - top tip though - if you're vegan or GF, they keep separate desserts in the fridge behind the chef serving, so you need to ask for those! I only found this out on the third day! We generally just had fruit from the poolside bar for lunch, but spied quite a lot of nice dishes being served at Kanna. No issue with getting sunbeds at 1030am, although I agree with some other reviews that I think a few more umbrellas would be good. Overall, had a really relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings. In terms of value, I'd say it was about right for the experience - would probably have to think about whether it was worth doing AI next time (we did this time, but probably didn't get our money's worth as didn't really eat lunch, and aren't big drinkers!!).

A great, good quality break at Paradisus by Melia Gran Canaria.
Great short break to celebrate my Wife’s 40th birthday. We stayed in ‘The Reserve’ which we found worth the extra cost. Food through the resort was towards the top end of the scale for All inclusive resorts, certainly the ones we have stayed at. Peseta was very high quality in our opinion, considering there was no extra cost. At The Reserve, Maivelys looked after everybody frequently bringing around everything from Mimosas to Pina Colada’s, as well as fruit kebabs and ice creams. She was excellent! All in all, we’ve been impressed with the resort and enjoyed our stay very much. Wouldn’t hesitate to re-book in the future

The staff were all so lovely, welcoming and attentive, and I honestly feel that they’re what made our stay so special. Everyone went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and looked after.
The hotel itself was immaculate, and the food was always so fresh, with plenty of options to choose from. Everything was just perfect, and we genuinely didn’t want to leave!
A special shout-out to Prado, Abdullah, Hamzah and Victor, who were absolutely wonderful, although there were so many other lovely staff members whose names I unfortunately didn’t catch.
Cannot wait to return! ❤️
