Situated right in front of the spectacular San Agustín beach and very close to the Playa del Inglés beach and the shopping centre, this luxurious hotel is the best option to stay on the island. Thanks to its excellent location in one of the main tourist resorts in Gran Canaria, its complete and comfortable facilities and the quality of its services will make each stay unforgettable. The airport can be reached within a 20-minute car ride. The rooms are equipped with cosy beds and the needed amenities to please all types of guests. The property offers activities to be entertained and have a fun holiday. Business travellers might use the function rooms and then relax at the spa. Families will also enjoy a children's playground and the outdoor pool area.

We have been to the Paradisus every year for the last three years and we love it as much as we did the first time.
Complete luxury and beautiful decorations.
The staff are so nice, I wish we took the names of them all but special credit to the lady with red hair serving in the gastro hall at breakfast time.
The food here was amazing, loved the Italian restaurant and Peseta especially.
I hope we are able to come back next year

A wonderful 1st time experience, to be repeated!
We have just returned from a fabulous vacation in this all-inclusive hotel. For the previous 13 or so years, with the exception of the covid era, we have visited the island and booked into an alternative 5 star hotel in Melonaras. Unfortunately over the years, standards had slipped and we opted to try the Gran Paradisius for a change. What a smart choice! Everything you would expect from a 5 star rated establishment, was met and in some instances exceeded. We opted for the Reserve option. It was marginally more expensive being all inclusive but when reviewing the add-ons in our previous trips, it was not too excessive. We started to make a note of those individuals who were going ‘above and beyond’ in terms of their helpfulness, friendliness and service etc., but frankly gave up – they were ALL exceptional; it would have been disrespectful to others if we mentioned our favourite employees. Marta Vidal, residence manager, provides the leadership and direction to the outstanding Guest Experience team who support her in her efforts to provide a wonderful family atmosphere and experience to each and every guest. From reception to housekeeping to bars and restaurants, grounds and pool areas the professionalism was evident. The food, in particular in the selected restaurants was excellent. Ensure you engage with the Guest Experience team to assist with restaurant reservations. The cleanliness of the whole hotel complex was excellent. Rooms, although smaller than we were accustomed to, were maintained very well with daily towel changes and mini bars refilled. Storage space was limited but we managed OK. The adult only reserve pool catered well for guests with regular offerings of drinks, fruit and ice creams. Sadly, a pet peeve of mine, reserving beds was not discouraged although it is highlighted all around the pool areas, that this should not happen. The show in La Scala, which we were fortunate enough to see, was very professional with excellent graphics, singing, dancing and acrobatics. The food served at breaks in the performance was also very good. All in all, the Gran Paradisius is not the least expensive option on offer, however it is all inclusive and you do get what you pay for in terms of quality, cleanliness, friendliness and service. A definite return is on the cards.

2 week reset
Just got back from a wonderful 2 week break. Both of us have an extremely busy work life and look forward to our main holiday every year as a complete switch off. This is the second time at the hotel and 5 Paradisus we’ve been to. We always book reserve, and as with all the others there’s no rush to get to the pool as there are plenty of beds available. We are early risers and I prefer a Bali bed. We never had an issue with this as I had the same one for the 2 weeks. The staff are exceptional here and always looking out for you. Maivelys at the reserve pool was amazing and looked after us the whole time. I’m rubbish with names, but Irene at the reserve breakfast always served us with a smile, the lads at the ginger bar are fantastic and all at kanna for lunch. Again sorry I didn’t note their names. Special mention to our concierge Luis. He really looked after us and always replied to our what’s app instantly with any questions. He also helped with all our dinner reservations and with the Scala show next door which I highly recommend. What I love about this resort is you can always leave and find somewhere for food and drinks. The rose show bar is great for football. (Soccer for my North American friends). All and all we have been here twice and will be back for a third. Also there have been multiple people we have met on this trip who have been here many times which says a lot. All in all it’s a great resort with wonderful staff and great surroundings. What’s not to like?
A nice hotel, perhaps not quite 5 star.
This is a lovely hotel, all be it, not quite perfect. We thought the food was excellent. We managed to get reservations at the restaurants, only eating at the buffet restaurant 3 nights out of 10. For lunch we often went to the shack, which is the beach bar by the swimming pool. The portions were just right for lunch, and the food tasty. A criticism if this hotel is that the shack is the only place to get drinks near the swimming pool during the day, and queues can get quite long. The hotel would benefit from having another bar to avoid this. I would have expected slightly better from a 5 star hotel. Nonetheless the drinks were delicious. The entertainment at the hotel is fairly minimal although as a family we were fine with this. The grounds of the hotel were delightful and immaculately kept. The staff were all good throughoutthe hotel, although at times it did feel that special treatment was reserved the Spanish guests. All in all a very nice hotel and we would be happy to return. Thoroughly enjoyable holiday
We enjoyed a great holiday here, couldn’t fault the hotel or staff. Too many to mention . The reserved side of the hotel was worth every penny especially at the reserved pool where Maivelys looked after us providing water, drinks fruit throughout the day nothing was too much trouble for her. We will definitely be back
