Modern hotel adult only right on the beach
We had a fantastic stay at Don Gregory Hotel by Dunas. We chose the hotel thanks to its great location on the beach of San Agustin, a very lovely and quiet area. The hotel is modern, impressive rooms, very clean and daily house keeping. We enjoyed the view of the beach from our balcony. The restaurant is also great and food very tasty and various. Congrats to all the chefs from the kitchen. Many thanks to Pascal from the reception and Marcos and Margarita from the restaurant. Dorel from Cluj, Romania

Average stay
Room was clean and provided adequate space. The location was ideal, right on beachfront and there was a small shopping area just across the road. Entertainment was very average but opportunity to sit in pool bar is an alternative option. Food was not good, every meal was lukewarm which you would not expect in any hotel.There was plenty of choice of foods but all options were always lukewarm. Overpriced hotel and failed to meet expectations.

Great location, but let down by maintenance, cold food and service
They have a fantastic beachfront location, although the beach is fully public and the shopping centre opposite is quite derelict not what we thought it would be.
Our room was spacious and comfortable, but the hotel needs maintenance. The pool area also felt cramped, with limited space and sunbeds.
Reception and the restaurant lacked air conditioning. Although the food selection was good, most dishes were cold/stone cold, even at the start of service. There were also issues with flies surrounding and landing on the food.
Service was inconsistent, with waiting staff rarely coming back for us personally. Rosa was brilliant in resolving a room issue, and Andrew was particularly friendly and approachable.
The hotel had an older atmosphere, with most guests appearing to be aged 50–60+. This may have been seasonal, but it is worth considering if you prefer a livelier atmosphere.
Overall, the hotel has potential, but the maintenance issues, cold food and inconsistent service meant it did not meet its high expectations especially for the prices they’re charging.
