This excellent hotel boasts breathtaking views over the harbour, the bay and out to the open sea from its elevated position in Puerto Rico on the southwestern coast of the holiday island of Gran Canaria. It features 2 outdoor pools, a sports centre, kid's club, restaurant and various bars. The Europa Shopping Centre is situated right next to the hotel; the next beach is within walking distance.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
A nice hotel and would stay again. Self catering and had a nice pool area the kids enjoyed. Cleaner lady was lovely. Cheap beers at the buller bar about a minutes walk with pool and darts and also a nice breeze.
Had the room with air-conditioning and worked fine once we got the filters cleaned after first night and they gave us a second room key so we could run electricity constant.during day keeping room cool. Would stay again. As always we hire a car whe staying in puerto rico as its very hilly.
Hotel Servatur Riosol Puerto Rico Gran Canaria We stayed one week at hotel . Very nice and kind staff at restaurant and bar service. Delicious food, lots of different kind of meals. Restaurant area very clean , plenty of waiters who were constantly cleaning up. Pool area very clean with lots of activity. Animators team very friendly and creative. The rooms left much to be desired in terms of cleanliness. We had to ask for three days to get our towels changed! Lots of ants . NO AIR conditions !!! Just small dirty , old fan. If someone want air con need to rent for 17 euro per day !
Alexander the entertainment man is a lovely guy to be with he is such a vibe and has never failed to make me smile Great man.
Firstly, staff are amazing, they're doing as good as the can really nice people. The rooms aren't the cleanest of rooms, chipped shower basin, chipped tiles, no hot water at all ( yes i know its 30 degrees, but you still need hot water to clean yourself) the rooms have no Air conditioning only a ceiling fan that doesn't do much. You can however rent ac units for €17.30 a night which is crazy, the problem is the ac units pump hot air out a hose thru the back of it, these hoses needed to go thru a window which most rooms do not have so your forced to leave your door open for the hose to run out it which let's the cockroaches in. Trust me, there's plenty obviously the hotel can't help the native bugs. The pools are fine very small for the number of rooms so make sure you get there very early. You can, however, pay to sit at the vip pool on the roof, which is lovely, but costs 25 euros a person a day, no deals or packages which is crazy money to sit at a pool. Towels are only changed once every few days, so it's best to buy some cheap beach towels because you really don't feel clean after washing. We've stayed in 2 different rooms because of issues, and both had ant infestations. Overall the price is cheap it's located in a decent spot, staff are great but the hotel itself could do with improvements. If you aren't fussy and just want a place to put the head down at night, this hotel will do for you.
I’ve just returned from another fantastic stay, and once again this hotel didn’t disappoint. This must be my umpteenth visit, which says it all!
The reception team were lovely, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. The staff at the pool bar were just as friendly, and Island of Stars was excellent as always.
Our room was clean, tidy, and had breathtaking views, making it the perfect place to relax. We had a wonderful stay from start to finish.
The only thing I noticed this time was that the pool areas were much busier than on previous visits, so if you want a sunbed it’s worth getting there early. It wasn’t a major issue, just something I hadn’t experienced here before. My only other small observation is that the pools could do with a fresh coat of paint to brighten them up, but again, it’s a very minor point.
Overall, another fantastic holiday. We can’t wait to return in October!
