⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Wonderful Stay in Gran Canaria
We had a fantastic trip to Gran Canaria and couldn’t have been happier with our experience. The hotel was lovely, spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained, and the service throughout our stay was excellent. The staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive, which made our holiday even more enjoyable.
A special thank you to Pablo, who very kindly upgraded our room to The Villa as we were celebrating my birthday. This was such a thoughtful gesture and made our stay feel extra special. We really appreciated the kindness and personal touch.
Overall, we had a wonderful holiday and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The combination of excellent service, a lovely clean hotel and thoughtful staff made it a memorable experience.
Thank you to the whole team, and especially Pablo, for helping make my birthday trip so special. We would happily recommend this hotel and would love to return! ❤️
A relaxing stay, with room for improvement on sunbed availability
We booked Marina Bayview after reading the positive reviews, as our main priority was rest and relaxation. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return, although there were a couple of frustrations.
Our arrival could have been smoother. We arrived around 1pm and waited approx. 20 minutes before anyone appeared at reception - we even phoned the hotel but no answer. Our room was ready at around 3.30pm but we had hoped to be settled earlier.
The apartments are pleasant, although a dedicated vanity area and more space for toiletries etc would have been useful.
Our main concern was sunbed availability. After breakfast, we struggled to find two available and ended up moving individual beds alongside each other, without an umbrella. Many loungers had towels on them by 8am but remained unoccupied for considerable periods—sometimes hours, which seems unfair. Although this comes down to guest behaviour, the hotel’s stated policy against reserving sunbeds did not appear to be enforced.
A few more loungers and umbrellas would help, where space allows. Also, having two loungers rather than one on the terraces of apartments, especially around the pool, could also encourage couples to make more use of their own outdoor space.
We were only told at check-out that we could use the facilities at the sister hotel, Marina Suites. It would have been helpful to know this on arrival.
On the positive side, the hotel has a lovely, relaxing atmosphere and the staff are very friendly. The steps weren’t a significant issue for us, and there are some excellent restaurants nearby—we particularly enjoyed El Gaitero, Don Quijote and Nube Fusion. We would also recommend taking the local ferry to pretty Puerto de Mogán.
Despite the arrival hiccup and sunbed frustrations, we had an enjoyable break and would happily stay again. More consistent enforcement of the sunbed policy would make the experience even better.

Great stay at Marina Bayview
Great location near Marina and las altos. Adult only hotel which had a great atmosphere. The rooms in general were lovely and clean however bathroom in need of attention and also felt like it could have done with a good clean. We booked direct with the hotel and the rate was really good wish we had booked breakfast as to pay each day it was 18 euros PP. Pool area and pool are great but you had to be up really early to secure a bed. Overall would definitely return.

Best hotel
Such a beautiful place - stunning views - fantastic staff - big credit to the cleaners also - they do a great job and are always happy to see you !!! Food is delicious - barbecue on a Friday is a must !!

A lot of traffic noise from the GC-500
A lot of traffic noise from the GC-500, so be aware of this. It disturbs the peace at an otherwise lovely hotel, conveniently located close to restaurants and a local shop. Nice views and lovely rooms. The service could be better, especially when it comes to providing towels for outdoor use. Would I stay here again? No
