Beautiful aesthetic but boring !
Smoke free hotel , only take card and up in the mountains !! 180 steps back and forth which in the heat of the day, hungover , or drunk is not fun . Beautiful aesthetic but not much atmosphere! Bar and pool close early, no floaty devices are allowed either. Its nice for a quiet couple holiday and not much else. Rooms are kept clean but bathroom can get ridiculously slippery due to the tiles. Shower rooms are available to book if flights is later in the day too . I found the hotel to be boring but beautiful. Unless you love walking cab journeys are a must here, but they were never over 11 euro each way depending on where your going .
Lovely holiday and hotel
Great view of the marina however lots of steps to go down. Local restaurants and supermarkets ideal location. The hotel was lovely and clean with great views and friendly staff. We didn’t use the facilities or pool area until the last day(travel home). The pool area was nice, clean and had subbed available, the food we had was nice and if we stayed longer we would have had more. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed even washing up liquid and tea towel. Great value for money and we would recommend if you have no mobility issues. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Holiday
Just got back from a week here we stayed in a deluxe apartment it was one of the best rooms I've stayed in in Grand Canaria Puerto Rico it's very quiet at night which is what I like so if you like things going on this might not be the place for you but you can find places to go.The beds are very comfortable here and the AC is really good the only negative are the shower is not very good and you only get one sun lounger on the balcony which is fine if it only you but not as a couple but this has not put us off as we have already booked for next year
Nice place to stay with a lovely view
Lovely place to stay i would recommend to stay here 100% great view of the bay and apartments very clean. Dirty Nellies pub just a short walk after the 140 steps down.
Beautiful Marina Bayview
Absolutely lovely hotel with amazing views over the marina. We had an outstanding view from both our bedroom and living area.
Rooms are spacious, well air conditioned (which was very much needed!) and comfortable. We slept really well in the beds and there was a choice of pillows.
The location of the hotel is good with a nice selection of restaurants at the bottom of the 130 steps (Toro Bravo was our favourite and El Gaitero was also good). There is also a HiperDino there which has plenty of choice and was great to cool down in before tackling the steps back up!! The walk to the commercial centre where there are lots more shops, bars and restaurants takes about 20/25 mins.
The vast majority of the staff at the hotel are really lovely, thank you. Shout out to Nacho who was so very helpful allowing us to change to a room with a balcony rather than a terrace.
The pool area is really lovely with comfortable beds and a nice bar/restaurant. We liked the quietness of the pool area and the no inflatables rule as the hotel is adults only. You do need to be down by 8.30 ish however to secure beds with an umbrella.
A couple of small gripes.. The showers in the rooms are not great and can do with upgrading. The English channels on the TV (BBC1, ITV, Channel 4 and 5) lost signal frequently and this was annoying when we were watching the World Cup footy matches.
Overall though we’d recommend this hotel to everyone as we had such a pleasant and relaxing stay. Thank you Marina Bayview and we will be back very soon!!!
