Situated in the tourist resort of Puerto Rico, this wonderful hotel is just 250 m from the marvellous beach and links to the public transport network. There are a host of shops, boutiques, bars, restaurants, cafés as well as a pulsing nightlife located in the surrounding area. The airport is about 30 minutes drive away. This hotel greets visitors with elegant décor, attentive service and welcoming atmosphere. Travellers may totally unwind in cosy and completely furnished rooms with convenient amenities. The swimming pool and paddling pool are waiting for great splashing moments. The youngest ones may let off steam at the playground while adults lounge with a refreshing drink at the poolside bar or soak up the sun of the sun terrace.

Fantastic hotel
Had an amazing stay at this lovely hotel. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming. We stayed in the garden room with private pool and we are so glad we did as it was amazing. Food and drinks at the hotel very good and very reasonably priced. We are planning on coming back next summer we enjoyed our stay that much. Thank you Maracaibo :-)
Home from home
Stayed in a standard room on the 2nd floor and it was ideal. Spacious living/kitchen area and good sized balcony with great views. Reception staff are so friendly and helpful, even suggesting we don't pay for aircon as it should be fine without it. (It was fine until the last couple days where it hit 39C) There's 24 access to reception with a good choice of alcohol and plenty of water. A shop across the road with everything you need. The bar was my favourite place, excellent food and excellent service from all the guys down there. They really make the place feel welcoming and very chilled out. The menu has everything you'd want and always very nicely cooked. Beer is 3.50€ and happy hour is 2 for 6€. The views are amazing too. The pool and loungers are spotless and a nice place to relax. Walking distance to the shopping centre and beach is perfect, right in-between both. The rooms were kept so clean, I was always impressed had how much the team had really cleaned the room every time we got back because some hotels I've stayed at, it can be a bit half done. They'd even washed a few cups etc once which I absolutely didn't expect them to do and I was a bit embarrassed 😳. I asked the lovely lady at the front desk (Valentina I think) if we could have a late check out last minute as we had a terrible sleep the night before and she did her best and gave us a good few hours more which was a life saver. Couldn't recommend it higher, we loved our holiday and the Maracaibo as a base was perfect, and I'll be sure to return.

Second Stay
This was our second time staying here, and once again, we loved the apartments. They are clean, comfortable and in a great location, and the food at the pool bar is lovely.
However, the one thing that really disappointed us this year was the restrictions around children using the pool. The kids weren’t allowed to use inflatables or balls, or even jump into the pool, which really took away from the fun and enjoyment of the pool for them.
It’s a shame, as we have enjoyed our previous stays so much, but these restrictions would definitely make me question whether we would choose to stay here again.
Nice relaxing 11 night stay .
We had 2 one bedroom superior rooms very clean and beautiful views . This was our second time here staff are very friendly and accommodating. Apartments are close to beach and short walk to shops . Pool area was very clean and no sun bed wars as not allowed to reserve beds . We will definitely be back .

Great friendly place
The Maracaibo is in a great location, easy access (via some stairs) to the beach/restaurants/bars. Staff are friendly and helpful. Apartments are cleaned daily. We stayed in a pool room which we loved. The bar area also serves good food and is open until midnight. We were only here for 4 nights but would definately recommend and hope to be back.
