Great location we was in suite 005 and the views were amazing, room cleaned everyday except Thursday/sunday, massive balcony , air con was not the best , especially as the sun is on the suite all afternoon, it just didn’t seem strong enough, we did call maintenance and he said that it was fine, in the evening if u left the card in everything closed it was cool enough to sleep, but getting ready to go out was hard work in the heat , didn’t spoil the holiday though, staff at the bar were fab , and the food was great, we was bed and breakfast and it was amazing , cooked breakfast is superb, also lunch / evening were lovely , good prices to, also freezing cold beer only €3 or 2 for €3 at happy hour, again great views from the bar, also BBQ night was great , although for u16s it should be cheaper , pool area nice and clean, lovely cool pool , most of the time there was always sun loungers available , but the life guard would help if none available, also if u leave towels on beds for a while the life guard will take them, also we had fresh towels for the pool from reception , so saves luggage space, pool has bit of entertainment in the week , but is very quiet most days, a bit of music won’t hurt for a few hours of the day , they have a speaker but only use it wen the pool entertainment is on (few days week ) really needs to be looked at by management in my opinion , it doesn’t need to be mega loud , just a bit of background music few hours a day would be better,. The lifeguards are very good but also strict , so if u take your own little Bluetooth speaker as it’s so quiet, and he hears it he will ask you to turn it off, not his rules but he’s on the ball but also very good at his job , nearest shop is about 150 meters away , few nice restaurants around the same distance , with a good Irish bar, with sport , quiz, live music etc, beach is about a 10 minute easy walk and the main town is about a 20 minute stroll , taxi is €5 from main town , plenty of bars and restaurants in Puerto Rico , hotel itself is good, and I would definitely return , I’ve taken few photos of breakfast/pool/view from bar/view from suite 005/Puerto Rico beach , also Harrison at the bar is good guy, but all the staff are friendly , and speak English/spanish
If you go to lunch, you lose your pool sunbed. The pool bar haven’t enough staff so staff are stressed and under pressure
All you need for a break in the sun.
Clean 🙌🏽
Daily walk to amadores - takes a good hour round trip.
Only niggle, hugely selfish people set alarm to put towels on sun loungers yet don’t appear for hours into late am or after lunch. Dont want to argue with humans however if your not in the pool vicinity then I think its fair to remove your item and take your parasol and lounger. Not everyone wants to stay by the pool all day maybe only few hours.
Recommendations - Life guard on duty should communicate with people that unless in the pool they will loose their bed.
I spent two lovely relaxing weeks here in a one bedroom apartment. This was a timeshare exchange. My apartment was very well equipped, clean and comfortable and had an enormous balcony with a beautiful view. There is a very large pool surrounded by more than enough sunbeds. No need to get up early to bag one! There is an on-site restaurant which offers excellent reasonably priced breakfasts and other food during the day, including a couple of evenings with entertainment. Just over the road are a variety of other restaurants and a supermarket. All the staff are pleasant and helpful. On my last day I had a late flight and was able to book a room for the day at a very reasonable price. Only two small criticisms. There are no bellboys so you have to manage your own luggage, not really a problem because there are lifts. Also beware of the grid on the floor in the shower. Don’t tread on it because parts of it are sharp. I would certainly stay here again and would have no hesitation in recommending this resort
This hotel is amazing, the staff are so friendly and helpful, the room we stayed in was spotless . The balcony was huge and the view was spectacular. The vibe bar was also great the staff there couldn’t have done more .
