Fantastic hotel with an amazing infinity pool
We stayed at Gloria Palace Royal in Gran Canaria last week and had a really enjoyable stay.
The location is excellent, and the entrance to the hotel is breathtaking, as is the view from reception when you first arrive. The infinity pool is definitely the diamond feature of the hotel and is a fantastic place to relax. The top-floor beds and pool area also give the hotel a real luxury feel.
Our room was a good size and had everything we needed. The balcony was also a great size, with three chairs and a table, and we had a lovely view overlooking the beach.
The choice and variety of food was good, and everything we had was fresh. The staff throughout the hotel were very pleasant and provided good service. The reception team were particularly helpful, and nothing seemed too much trouble.
The only issue we experienced was with the safe. We were charged €18 for it despite being all-inclusive. Unfortunately, we didn't receive a receipt for the charge, so when we queried it, we couldn't prove that we'd paid and were unable to get the money refunded. It's worth checking this carefully when using the safe.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Gloria Palace Royal. We were so impressed that we'll definitely be booking again for next year. The views, infinity pool, rooms, food and friendly staff made it a fantastic holiday.

Stayed at this hotel after previously staying at sister hotel Gloria palace . We were underwhelmed with this hotel not the experience we were expecting. Firstly our Room was clean but in need of an upgrade. Quiet pool okay but towels left on sunbeds every day. The pool bar we were not allowed to order food as we were all inclusive but if half board can order food . Makes no sense so we had to go to the other pool snack bar which was like a school canteen and not very pleasant .. Entertainment was very unprofessional and the acts didn’t match up to what was displayed on the notice board. Overall disappointing experience and will not return . Definitely not 4 star rating. Food ok plenty of choices , staff friendly..

Dream hotel in amordores ❤️
Hey just want to say I had a fantastic stay at the Gloria Palace Royal Hotel, it started off abit shakey with me having to change my room because of poor views and noise. The following morning I was looked after by Vera at reception And I was moved to a more scenic beautiful room view. It’s kinda what I expected so was then happy happy 😁. Location of hotel was superb next to my fav beach amorodes, was only a short walk there from hotel. I paid for a breakfast deal and it was fab, my fresh omelettes each day were outstanding and I was always made to feel special at hotel. The hotel itself was immaculate and the cleaners do a fab job tbh. Anyway all in all it was a magical experience I always wanted to stay at this hotel and now I have I will be coming back. In fact I hope to come back in October. One of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed at, there spa was lovely too which I used many times. Keep up the good work everyone I will be back. ❤️😁⭐️🙏

Lots to like, but could be even better!
My husband and teenage son stayed here in July, for 10 days all inclusive. We had a great holiday and would return. Here are the main pros and cons of this hotel:
Pros (there are alot) Everything is very clean Buffet food is excellent, in terms of quality and range Staff are all friendly and do their best to help wherever they can Lifeguards are unsung heroes- they clean, tidy and help with parasols etc as well as safety Patryk (animation team by pool) is awesome. Rooms are huge Water provided daily in room Balconies are huge View from just about every room are fantastic Late check out possible for almost everyone we encountered, that asked for it Clientele are good, decent people. No sunbed wars.
Could do better points; Pool bar food is very average Service at all bars is very slow. Usually only one person at each. No iron Hairdryer awful- if this is important to you, take your own Plug sockets in rooms are quite dated and not all worked, consistently Pool side sunbeds and mini tables aren’t very clean
We had a good holiday here and would go back, but next year’s pricing suggests about £1K more, for same dates, duration, holiday company, which isn’t proportionate.

All round great time
Good location the staff were very helpful and welcoming it was a very relaxing time and the rooms we’re very spacious and were well equipped with everything u needed for a good stay the cleaning team were very respectful and always giving there full attention to detail and anything you needed for your stay would definitely recommend to everyone
