Amazing hotel and fantastic entertainment team! ⭐️
Me and my boyfriend chose Sol Barbacán because of its excellent reviews, especially about the entertainment team—and they are absolutely true!
The hotel has a wonderful atmosphere and beautiful swimming pools, making it a great place to relax and enjoy your holiday for everyone.
Carlos, Naira, and Miriam are fantastic entertainers: friendly, energetic, and incredibly enthusiastic. They organize fun activities for all ages, involve everyone without being pushy, and create a warm, lively atmosphere every day.
Their passion and positive energy have made our holiday even more enjoyable. We highly recommend Sol Barbacán, especially for its outstanding animation team! We would definitely come back.

Fab friendly hotel and team of staff
Fabulous hotel and fabulous friendly staff, 15 minutes from the beach and 5 minutes to the yumbo centre. We were self catering but you could also eat in the hotel, buffet breakfast was 13 euros. The entertainment on an evening in the bar was fabulous. The animation team were amazing and kept every one entertained very friendly and very energetic a big thank you to Carlos and Miriam your are super stars 🌟
Amazing experience!
We had an amazing time! The rooms were very clean and were cleaned every day. The bar was great and the pools were lovely. The staff were all so kind, and the animation team was absolutely awesome!
I want to thank everyone for making our stay so enjoyable, and especially Carlos! He really made our holiday extra special and gave us so many fun and unforgettable moments. Thank you, Carlos, for all the laughs and good times! We truly appreciate everything you did.
We will definitely remember this holiday and planning to come back again.
Relaxing stay just what we needed.
We are presently staying at Sol Barbacan, we are on the Xtra One apartments which is nice and spacious with all you need in the kitchen, the balcony is spacious with two comfortable sun beds and a dining table and chairs plus 2 x clothes airers. We were greated with a nice small bottle of red wine, buscuits and chocolate and an array of drinks and water in the fridge which was welcomed as we arrived late in the evening. There is a toaster, coffee pods machine, coffee perculator, kettle, microwave/grill and a nice selection of teas and coffees altho i brought my own. Theres only 2 English channels on the tv BBC1 and BBC 2 which is a shame as we dont go out at night and would have liked a few more channels to watch ie ITV, channel 4 & channel 5. The apartment is cleaned daily and fresh towels daily if you leave them on the shower floor they are replaced. The hotel is 20mins to the beach and 8 mins to the yumbo centre, theres lots of eateries around the hotel and plenty of supermarkets that sell everything from fruit and veg to meats, bread etc. We would stay here again for sure its situated right in the heart of playa de ingles where we can catch a bus to puerto rico and mogan .
Lovely complex
This is a lovely complex. Very clean and gorgeous gardens. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment which was very spacious and spotless. The facilities are great and the pools are lovely. Had no problem getting a sunbed. The activities are varied and we enjoyed the French Boules, aqua gym and table tennis. The entertainment team are superb. Great fun and so friendly. A special mention for Miriam. A lovely girl and my special ball girl. She will know what I mean. We were half board. Selection at breakfast was excellent. The only issue I had was with the main courses at Dinner. Sometimes found it hard to find something I liked and I'm not a fussy eater but I realise this is a personal issue and many will be fine with the choices on offer. We had a lovely holiday and the beach is great. Did a day trip to Mogan on the Friday which is market day. A lovely town and vast market. Worth a visit.
