Situated in the northern side of Playa del Inglés, between the popular Avenida Tirajana and Avenida Gran Canaria. The closest sandy beach, reachable with convenient public transport links, is located approximately 2 km from the premises. There are also a number of shopping centres and entertainment sites located at around 800 m. The airport can be reached within a 20-minute ride. If guests prefer, they can have a delicious meal in the onsite restaurant or a couple of drinks in the pool bar. The outdoor pool area is perfect to sunbathe or have a refreshing swim. The rooms come with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable and unforgettable stay.

My third visit in a year
This is my third visit there in 12 months, which just goes to show how much i enjoy being there. The hotel is still being well maintained after its refurb a couple of years ago and, the pool is spotless, with daily cleaning of the whole outdoor pool area.
Still a great breakfast (thanks to the egg chef), and most staff are really warm, welcoming and friendly. Just a grumpy receptionist lets down the welcome.
I had a superior on the fifth floor, great views and larger bathrooms and the balcony gets the sun all day.
They seem to be doing further building works and opening a bar area on the north side next to the supermarket. The current bar food offering is really good, fresh and cooked to order. The only bar letdown is slow service in the evening - all staff are focussed on the restaurant and therefore forget about customers waiting in the bar/outdoor bar area.
The supermarket (which they own), also has a small table seating area out front, with a coffee/ice-cream shop, good ice-cream and coffee.
Housekeeping are excellent ... always thoroughly cleaning the rooms to a high standard.
I shall be back again next Spring.
Beyond Expectation
Have just spent a week at Hotel Rondo and it exceeded all my expectations. As a solo traveller I felt welcomed and looked after by all the staff. Brilliant location, great pool and sun terrace and the food was incredible. I was so impressed on my first visit to Gran Canaria I have already booked to return next September.
Beware of music
I came back to this hotel because I had been before. It's clean .it's lovely .staff are great ...but today Saturday. For the last 5 hours I feel I ve been on a council estate rave .the noise from next door is horrendous!can't sit round the pool .can hear it in the bedroom .and now I have a blinding headache. So much for a relaxing holiday. Not hl hondo fault ...but I really can't belive the noise.......
10 night stay at HL Rondo
From fantastic first impressions to the minute we checked out this was an amazing hotel. Will be returning without question.
Room was spacious and spotless. 3rd floor with a pool view.
We went half board. Brekkie was served until 11.30 and dinner 6pm to 9.30pm. Breakfast is a beautiful buffet with a dedicated chef cooking eggs and bacon to your liking. Dinner is à la carte however you have the option of going across the road to their sister hotel for evening buffet should you wish. But the 3 course à la carte was what we preferred we so stayed put.
The staff are incredibly friendly, the pool is a nice size and reservation of sun beds is forbidden which I found to be an added bonus as no one was rushing to get a bed. Pool bar serves the usual drinks and snacks including burgers and salads.
Yumbo is a ten minute walk away, there’s a shop downstairs for bits and bobs for the room and really can’t fault the place. It was really handy have a mini fridge in the room to store water and juice etc. Kettle with tea and coffee available in the room also. Made my holiday for .
Shout out to the awesome Gian who works at the restaurant who flawlessly went through the menu and daily specials every night he was on shift for everyone dining with him. Customer service was exceptional with all the staff but Gian’s passion shone through.
