Travel time from airport good in a taxi to the hotel.

Fantastic location near the beaches and short taxi ride to Jumbo for a spot of evening entertainment, people watching and eating out.

We had booked an all-inclusive holiday; we had no bottled water in our room apart from the first day. A kettle was provided in the room- but no cups, teaspoons or tea, coffee, milk, sugar. Suggest you get supplies from the restaurant to make your stay more comfortable.

Housekeeping staff work very hard and do a great job all over the hotel, excellent cleanliness and friendly staff. You get the impression it’s a great place to work. Exceptional staff and cleanliness, no plates or food left unattended- spotless.

AI Drinks were weak. Beer served in plastic or cardboard cups around the pool. If you wanted a pint you had to request 4 cups of beer, I presume they don’t use larger cups to keep the drinks cool and reduce waste.

I declared I'm a coeliac on booking with easy jet and arrival at restaurant (dietary requirements) and was only assisted once on arrival on what to expect. Breakfast was limited all week with same bread, cereal, cake and croissant. There is a dedicated area for this with specific toaster and microwave which was a great touch.
Better labelling would have improved my dining experience and having a dedicated person to show me what I could have – this is what I have experienced in all other hotels, so this was most disappointing. I had a coeliac restaurant card - Spanish translator sheet I showed the person on arrival, explaining what I could eat and couldn’t, but he who was keen to go and talk to Spanish guests instead of helping me. It was not very good for health and safety to have to make hot drinks in a corner of the restaurant beside special dietary area then walk across the dining hall to reach milk -completely barmy set up especially in high season- we came September so not too busy. My rationale is it was accessible being stored at a cooler central point, so milk was available at cereal station to keep fresh.

If you want a mystery shopper to come and test facilities my husband and I would be keen to assist 😊The hotel appears a friendly and great place to work and stay- with some adjustments could be even greater and give customers a great experience. We would like to revisit

We we here for 2 weeks from the middle of September ,we arrived at about 11pm check in was quick and friendly ,and some food had been left for us in the reastaurant. Our Room was big with plenty of space to move about in and the decor was simple but all was clean and tidy it was cleaned every day and fresh towels every day we were facing a busy road but we never had any noise issues Air con which we needed because it was very hot was efficent .We got a sunbed and brolly every day without any hassle the pool was cleaned by a robot every night and was cool but not too cold .The food and drink was excellent with loads of variety and bar service was quick and friendly infact i would say the food is some of the best we have had in almost 50 years of travelling .The staff in general were very efficent and friendly with only a couple of exceptions .The Hotel location was very good 5 minutes to sea front and shops etc ,the beach was difficult to get to with loads of steps there was a lift but it was a good walk to the lift and was hard work because of the heat .Just one or two negatives that could easily be fixed ,their were a few flies in the reastaurant but no where near as many as some of the other reviews made out they were not around the food but seemed to be in part where there was no air con some insectocutors would solve this .More drawers would have been good in the rooms .The main bar which is used at night was mainly open air it rained one day and all the chairs were wet so many guests including us got wet bums more chairs could have been moved into the covered areas and the the big brollies could have been put up to protect the guests and chairs from getting wet ,this was a failure from a management point of view and i thought was a bit unprofesional .I am not a fan of animation teams and i wasnt impressed by them at this hotel i would say most of the guests were middle aged to older but they played mainly Hip Hop type music around the pool thankfully it wasnt too loud as in some hotels ,it seems to me they play what they like and not what the guests would like to hear this goes for most hotels i personally i think they are a waste of time and money .Overall this hotel is great and i would return

Check in was quick but arrived late so straight to our room. As soon as we got in the room, I saw cockroaches on the floor. This is usual in a hot country but seeing them immediately was quite off putting. The rooms are spacious and free safe included but no supplies for tea and coffee etc. It is a good central location and only 10 min walk to the beach and 20 minutes to maspalomas so good place and have a market too on select days where you can get some good bargains. cleaners are amazing and clean very quickly and efficiently and replace towels and clean sinks and everything, everyday. Room was usually clean and reset by the time we got back from breakfast. As others have expressed, you need to be up at the crack of dawn to get a sunbed but the bar by the pool is great and easy on hand for refreshments throughout the day. The swimming pool became an issue for us as, although it’s a big pool and enough room for everyone (we went in school holidays), my little one (8 years old and not a confident swimmer) had to stay by the steps and slope in as it became deep water, quickly, so we were limited on where she could use the pool unless she was holding on to us. The grounds are well looked after although some floor tiles missing which can be a health and safety risk.

Entertainment is very limited and seems the same activities everyday. The main guy is great and very energetic but it needs mixing up a bit.

Food as an all inclusive package was varied. Breakfast was the same as you always get and eggs are cooked fresh for you which is a good option to your own liking. Lunch is a mismatch of various items, including fish, meats and sometimes meatballs or schnitzels. Dinner is quite similar and don’t do theme nights but is quite warm and drinks are on hand too. Drinks in the dining room are glass but paper anywhere else. There is an ice cream machine that the kids loved and was there go to every night after dinner. The main issue with eating times are the flies!! My goodness, this was really annoying. We tried eating outside and inside and there are so many flies constantly on you, which becomes very irritating, especially when there are no fly killers or zappers which could help the issue. It became too much in the end and we went to eat out a few times towards the end of the holiday.

The last thing is the noise and the smell. Our room was allocated next to a resident so it was quiet, but above there were loud noises a lot and thin walls. The smell from the wardrobe when we had a shower (there was a wall in between) was very damp and had to keep the wardrobe doors open to vent.

The staff are lovely and friendly and the egg chef and the bar lady at night are very good and stood out to us. The place is nice but it’s not a 4 star.
