Fantastic Resort, ticked all our boxes
We had the most amazing holiday, arrived at approx 8.30pm, check in said to go to the dining room and finish later, we mentioned about a phobia of lifts and request for lower floor. When we got back they had upgraded us and put us the first floor! The room was immaculate! Full air con, Couldn’t fault it. The dining room was amazing, staff couldn’t have been more helpful, friendly and efficient! The food was fantastic, there literally is something for everyone. Loads of choice, hot or cold. Fresh Fruit and vegetables aplenty. One previous review moaned about breakfast but I don’t know what else they could want unless they went in from 10-10.30 when only continental as they catered for everything. The Pool and surrounding areas were also immaculate and the pool very refreshing but not cold. We had no issues with getting a lounger but we were slightly out of season, you can see how they may run out. People put towels on them from 7am despite it saying not to do but that always happens wherever you go. Evening entertainment wasn’t all that but the acts were brilliant at what they did and professional, more of a personal preference. The resort had mixed ages from late Teens to retired. Not a noisy resort at all and the bars close at 11pm. All the staff we came across were brilliant, friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was great, rooms sparkling The only issue with where we were staying is that there is no ‘strip’ where you could go to different bars etc, there was an area just a five minute walk with a couple of bars and a Rock bar, live music etc that was good fun. Maspalomas was a nice area with lots of restaurants and a fab cocktail bar called the Tipsy Hammock that is worth a visit. It is at least 15 minute walk to this area and down a lot of steps but they do also have lifts for those that need it. The bus system is amazing and very easy to use. The Mini Gold is great fun and a must! They have a bar etc. so much fun. If you like Westerns, then go to the Soux City Park. Well worth a visit but it is hot so have plenty of water, there is a free bus and we got it from the Global Tropical area which is 5-10 mins walk from the hotel. Our first holiday in 17 years without the children and ticked every box for us.

Ex-Holiday Rep- Honest review.
Ok, so as the title goes, I’m an ex holiday rep who came here with an open mind. I was a bit cautious as the Servateur name hasn’t got a great reputation. However, the reviews were mainly good.
Now here I am, 2 days into a 2 week holiday, writing this review and desperately trying to find alternative accommodation!
Let’s get the rooms out of the way, not 4 star, but ok, clean and tidy. However, I haven’t had a maid service since I arrived 2 days ago so now no clean towels.
Other than that, the room is a good 3 star (paid extra for the pool view).
If you are coming here to sit around the pool…. Good luck! You will need to be up by 4:30am to claim your place. Apparently, this place is “quiet” and not full. But not a sun bed to be had ANYWHERE! Including all the surrounding gardens around the buildings. It doesn’t help when people grab 4-8 sun-beds and literally move them into a circle.
So no sunbeds…. What about maybe a chair near the pool bar? Nope. 3 tiny tables in an 8 foot by 3 foot area. All claimed.
So the choices are now gone. So you have tomeither go out of the hotel to a beach or somewhere else… or sit in your room.
Totally not a relaxing place to be.
Now on Expedia/air bnb looking for anything else I can find for the next 12 nights. Totally ruined a £2500 holiday!
Oh and I’m lucky, I hired a car…. But parking in €6 euros per night for the first 6 nights, then €8 euros per night after than. Payable in advance and the parking spaces are more limited than the sun beds.
I can’t say what the food is like, as after my holiday has been ruined, I don’t feel like going to eat and find out!

Wouldn’t say it quite hit 4 stars. It was overall a good stay but that was it. Just ok.
When we arrived granted we got there early but they told us the room would be an hour, so we went to a lovely bar came back and they said it wasn’t ready but couldn’t tell us when. Cue sitting there for another three hours.
It is very nicely designed into four circular buildings that have both lifts and stairs. Rooms are spacious enough, good storage, clean enough. Although it’s listed as a double room, it’s two single beds with mattress toppers that kept moving half off the bed. Tea and coffee in the room but no milk. Mini fridge that is okay. Shower pressure was wonderful. Walls are paper thin so definitely heard “things” multiple nights. The windows don’t do anything to block sound so we were woken up many times due to football matches, glass recycling, coaches etc.
The restaurant is okay, gets a little warm. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was incredible with pastries, churros, waffles, full english, fruit etc. Lunch and dinner were okay-ish, listen to the comments saying everything is weirdly salty, it is true. Found a few things inedible due to how salty they were. I won’t lie we did mostly live off the self serve ice cream machine. The self-serve drinks machines were broken on either side of the room almost everyday. Drinks were okay, basic range of cocktails with the all inclusive.
The pool was really nice although does not get very deep (i’m 5’8 and could stand with flat feet). Other reviews are correct with the lounger situation. We got up first thing for breakfast and by around 8:30 all loungers had towels to reserve them even though it’s apparently against the rules. Sometimes they’d go unoccupied for hours.
Oh and at least twice a day there a wafts of unpleasant smells, including sewage and weed. Very noticeable.
Also, not that most people care, but the air quality was one step away from being risk to life although it is not the hotels fault.
Overall, it was an ok stay but I paid the same amount for a 4 star in Morrocco that was miles better for the same distance. I wouldn’t come back I don’t think. Maybe if it was cheaper or i’d only do half board instead of all inclusive.

No complaints. Room was spotless. Food was 10/10 and the pool area was amazing .. go down early for a sunbed tho as they fill up fast .
Great trip!
I have just returned from a 10 day stay here with my boyfriend for reference we are mid 20s.
We got a taxi from the airport it cost us €40 and only took 20 minutes which was great! On arrival the staff were very welcoming and luckily our room was available early around midday. The rooms were very spacious, we were in block 3.
The food here was amazing, one of the best all inclusive hotels we have been to and definitely above normal standards. It only has 1 restaurant, which is also where the snack bar is. Each night they have different cuisines like Mexican, Asian, Spanish and local cuisines which were all great as well as a self serve ice cream machine that was delicious!
The staff here were so nice and all worked extremely hard all day everyday, they were all happy to help! The lady at reception actually printed us out a bus time sheet and circled which one we need to get for our journey which was really helpful.
We did not watch the entertainment so can’t comment on whether it was any good but the animation team were great lots of activities throughout the day to do, and they aren’t pushy if you don’t want to join in.
There is a small Italian restaurant about a 3 minute walk from the hotel called Bell’amore which we ate at 2 nights in a row, it was delicious and really reasonably priced! There are also a few bars in walking distance that all have live music, drag shows and that were also playing the football which was great for us. There is also a water park 10 minute drive away which is one of the best we have been too so overall location for us was perfect!
The only cons I would mention here is that there is a lack of umbrellas around the pool, which I feel like is a must because of the heat! If you didn’t get one in the morning you would struggle to find one!
As well as this in our room for a few days we had an awful sewage smell in the bathroom, however we did not complain about this so this is our fault for not saying anything! But the smell did eventually go.
Following on from this around 8:30-9:30am for quite a few mornings it sounded like beds or chairs were being dragged around the room which was disturbing for us and did wake us up on a few occasions but again we did not mention this to the staff!
Saying this, overall we loved our stay and felt very welcomed and safe here!
I would definitely recommended this to a friend!
