BE WARNED AVOID Terrible place. Noisey -Dirty -Rude staff -Homophobic and rude security staff. No AC you want it you pay for it! WIFI you pay for it! GYM you pay for it! Noisy room took me three days to move to a quieter room I even had to buy earplugs. Room was old dated and cleaners didnt due great job see pic of dirty headboard and someone's used tobacco pouch disgusting! I had a family member staying close by which wanted to have drinks in my room before we went out. When she arrived I was shouted at by the security and said the policy is no guests. Never stayed a place where is havent been able to have guests. This wasnt even mentioned when I arrived then he pointed to a sign at the very end of reception even the women behind the desk didnt know where the sign was. Note it dictates Tourism regulations! There is no such thing as this in the local Tourism regulations and merely made up by the hotel. I honestly couldn't wait to leave not even value for money once to have to rent everything else to even feel comfortable. At first I saw poor reviews and didnt think it was bad upon arrival but trust me it is worse than what is written in reviews staff are terrible, dirty rooms and someone seriously needs to have a word with that security guard completely made the whole stay feel uneasy. We stayed here the first week of October. We’d read the bad reviews but thought we’d be fine. We initially had a room at the front overlooking the bars and restaurants, and honestly, the noise was unbelievable! Karaoke until 3–4am every single night, so loud the walls were rattling. It didn’t matter whether we were in the bedroom or living room, we could still hear it. We go to festivals every year and are used to noise, but this was something else! By day 3, I thought if I heard Zombie one more time, I’d cry 😂

We asked reception if we could move rooms, and they were lovely and did their best to help. On day 4, we moved to the other side of the hotel, which was much, much better, although still noisy.

The hotel itself is clean, the rooms have everything you need, the location is great and the reception staff were really nice. Even in October, though, the rooms were very hot, and you couldn’t leave the windows open because of the noise.

You get what you pay for, and we knew it was a two-star hotel, so we weren’t expecting luxury. We’d have had very few complaints if it wasn’t for the noise, which really spoilt our stay.

I was really apprehensive about how bad this hotel was going to be after reading reviews but after a nice 4 nights here I am unsure what people writing bad reviews expect for a very cheap budget hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. There are security who checked we were wearing our bands on a few occasions but I wouldn’t say they were rude or intimidating as some reviews say. The rooms are basic but clean and fresh towels and bedding daily. The beds are very uncomfortable and the sofa bed really is not a bed but manageable for a short stay. As in the description of the hotel there is no air conditioning, I wrongly thought the rooms would be ok because it’s October but it was very hot at night. Fans can be rented but we decided against this as we were only staying a few nights and weren’t convinced they would be very good. Before arriving I requested a quiet room as I had read the reviews saying it is noisy at night at the front of the hotel. We were given a room at the back on arrival, I am sure it was much quieter than the front rooms but there was an awful lot of terrible karaoke until 3am. Nice balcony with table and chairs. The pool areas are great, there are three large pools and a nice splash pool for kids. The pool is cleaned daily and it is clean and tidy with plenty of nice comfortable sun loungers. Children aren’t allowed floats in the pool, unsure why. The life guards are quite strict and I can see why reviews say they are a bit OTT. I can confirm we saw a few dead cockroaches but none in the rooms and certainly no mice!! Supermarkets etc outside the hotel, market on a Saturday just across the road. Don’t let the reviews put you off if you just want a cheap and cheerful holiday in the sun.
