Nice holiday
Just back from a week here with partner and 2 year old and it was great value for money the food was not great but it’s what you expect for an all inclusive hotel the beds were not the comfiest the staff were lovely and friendly we enjoyed it but probably wouldn’t return and one week was long enough
a tremendous holiday in a smashing Hotel
A second unbelievable holiday at a smashing hotel(our 2nd visit his year) Jet 2s service who I think do a wonderful job holiday /flight and PA wise was a treat-Not expecting a reply to my e mail asking for a high room in the Hotel Laura, on reception, got back quickly and arranged the 7th floor (a joy) on arrival .(thanks Laura) I love this hotel-the layout, the food service, friendly staff, near everywhere beach.bars and entertainment wise if you want to venture out. The rooms are superb , the food ,mornings and evenings, was ideal for us and the way you could obtain sunbeds throughout the day was good (we did put towels out at 10am a couple of times and they werent removed thankfully!!!) . If i had a little moan it would be nice if they provided coffee saches and milk in the rooms (they do provide a kettle ,cups and saucers-no point without coffee of tea-though I dare say many folks take some from the restaurant to use??). Thanks Buenaventura-it was a tremendous and happy week and we already have plans to return and hopefully,next time, bring the whole family who would love it....

Good Hotel for the price.
Nice Hotel and grounds. Very Family orientated. Room was clean and spacious. Really nice pool areas. Good amount of sunbeds and music played around the pool.
I went all inclusive and the food options were pretty good. Cocktails however are premixed and awful.
All staff polite and friendly. Hotel is well situated along a couple of bus routes. Bus to Airport stops round the corner. Full supermarket about 5mins walk. Not much bars or restaurants immediately around but not too far away.
Although not beach front, the walk to the beach is a really nice stroll about 10 minutes. I believe there is a shuttle service to the beach - lots of nice places to eat.
Hotel is let down by bad entertainment and cocktails.
I also stayed at Riu Gran Canaria and found it to be by far superior. That said you are paying a premium price for it, whereas Abora is a great price point.

Great value hotel
This is our second visit so knew what to expect. The rooms was spacious, clean & the beds were comfortable. Not a complaint but the rooms would benifit from a couple of drawers & I personally didn't like the shower gel, I'd recommend taking your own. We didn't upgrade to premium drinks & were very happy with the drinks we had. Breakfast choice was excellent. At lunch and dinner we found the starters/salads & puddings very good. The choice of mains was a bit disappointing on some days, sometimes we found it difficult to put something together, that said some of the meals were really nice. The evening entertainment was on the whole poor, but we enjoyed a drink in the lobby most nights. We thought the hotel had a nice atmosphere, with a wide range of visitors, from couple to families & large groups. I would recommend this hotel, even with my couple of little niggles, it is excellent value, good location & very clean.

Not very clean 1 cleaner for all of hotel
Unless you request your room to be cleaned on an app which we didn't find out till a day before we come home it doesn't get cleaned only fresh towels if you chuck them on the floor. A couple of times we were left with no towels and said they'd bring some up and 40 minutes later we went down to chase this and they apologised due to only having one cleaner which is mental for how many rooms there is. Not a very clean environment and very outdated. If you don't like cats don't come because they are all over and go into the food courts at mealtimes. Not much option for food for children plain pasta with a source and chips. Very repetitive. We aware of you leave your sunbeds to go for a walk because they put a notice on your sunbed and then remove your towels if you don't return within a short space of time. Would not go back very disappointing compared to the reviews being great and the photos
