Hotel okay but need to sort out the ants issue
We stayed all inclusive, it was okay but we all contracted a bad stomach bug towards the end of the holiday which ruined the rest of our time here. Unsure if it was just a virus we caught rather than anything from the hotel however. Have stayed in better 4* all inclusive resorts. This hotel does have its pros and cons:
Pros
- Choice of two pools with splash pool. Water wasn’t too cold
- Good selection of kids club activities catering to younger and older children
- Great entertainment team - fun and enthusiastic and got the kids involved. A varied selection of evening entertainment which we enjoyed. You do have to get a seat early though as there aren’t enough for the number of guests at the hotel
- Nice set up with the bungalows and having your own sun loungers
- Didn’t have to walk far to either pool or restaurants
- Small arcade on site which was cheap and the kids enjoyed
Cons
- Ants allover the kitchen and down the side of children’s bed. This was the major put off for us. We weren’t offered to change rooms and instead a spray was left. Yes it killed some of the ants but they soon returned. I was disgusted to find dead ants in the kettle water when I went to fill it.
- Poor cleaning of rooms and only certain rooms were cleaned at a time, bed sheets not changed when they needed changing
- Food - not a great selection, especially for children. Seemed to be mainly fish dishes
- Drinks - self service was good for beer / soft drinks but found the cocktails too sweet and no well known cocktails available
- Location - not much directly around the hotel and needed a taxi to most places with small children
Amazing family holiday!
Where do I even start. The holiday was amazing from start to finish. The hotel was clean, spacious and extremely beautiful. The staff at reception were amazing!
I would like to give special mentions to Fernando, Molina, Gonzalo, Angel, Alberto, Eric and my favourite Daniel! They made our holiday extra special! Thank you. We will recommend to everyone and we will never stay anywhere else in Gran Canaria.
Fantastic second stay
Our second time here this year and another wonderful holiday,love the bungalows here very spacious and excellent air con, all have sunloungers as well, pool very nice and little splash park for kids, small gym as well to work off all the extra calories from so much food, and very nice food as well lots of choice, all the staff work very hard and every one we spoke to was so polite and helpful, all. staff we interacted with were all genuinely lovey people, we highly recommend it and we are definitely coming back again,

We had a great holiday at this hotel. The bungalows are located in lovely, well kept grounds and everything feels easily accessible. The rooms are spacious, well maintained and clean. The rooms are well spaced giving good privacy. There are two very fussy eaters in our family and they managed to find something to eat every day, I thought the food was good.👍 I loved the pool, it was a great temperature for walking straight into when its hot. My only suggestion for an improvement would be more seating in the evening at the outdoor bar. There is insufficient seats and no option to sit away from the music to talk, play cards with older kids. The hotel suggested the downstairs bar, however drinks are not included and we don't want to sit indoors on holiday. We also travelled with a younger child and she loved the entertainment day and night.

a pleasant holiday
Plenty of space by the pool. A very nice, large bungalow. No queues at the bar. Very friendly and pleasant staff—especially Erika. Good food. It’s a bit of a walk to the beach, and there are many families with small children. But overall, we are happy because there is a Superdino on the hotel grounds.
