This amazingly hotel is situated on a central location on the famous Playa del Inglés, in the southern part of Gran Canaria. The airport is conveniently just about 2 km car ride away from the complex. The hotel offers rooms that come equipped with cosy beds and all the necessary amenities they need to have the best experience. For travellers comfort, the rooms are decorated to make them feel welcomed and comfortable. Diving into the pool, sunbathing, relaxing under the shadow of an umbrella or going to the beach are just a few things guests will have the pleasure to experience. Great family hotel with location
Great location with dunes 5min walk away. Bus stops for day trip’s literally outside the hotel. Entertainment is the top level and animation crew goes above and beyond with their evening shows - you wouldn’t expect that from residing animation team. Staff extremely helpful, cleaning team super friendly and really well represent the hotel as the first person you see in the morning, in full joy. Food choice ws fantastic, you can really eat healthy and have lot of choices, you can stuff yourself on pizza, chips and ice cream too if thats your vibe. Swimming pool choice is plentiful, especially the kids area with various slides. Cannot recommend enough for great family holiday, and that’s the impression I had of this hotel.
Brilliant hotel had something for everyone
We recently stayed at Abora Catarina and had a fantastic stay. Firstly the staff that run the hotel are super friendly and really helpful from reception, the catering team, entertainment team and the cleaning staff, all brilliant. The hotel is huge but very easy to navigate and the main amenities sit centrally including bars, pools and the restaurant. The food was fantastic all freshly prepared with a different choice every night, our favourite was sushi night. They cater for the simple pallet and those who generally enjoy a variety of different foods (this is us). The rooms are large and clean and everything works how it should. Location wise you are right in the heart of PDI with direct access to the nightlife of the Cita Centre and a 10 min walk to the busy Yumbo Centre. The beach is not far with a short walk through the dunes, worth noting the sand is heavy underfoot if you don't have a good level of fitness and don't enjoy walking. For the more adventurous the hotel does have an adults only roof top solarium which is only missing a bar. Both myself and my partner thought this was a brilliant hotel and will be definitely staying there again.

We had the best holiday - facilities were great - all staff were lovely and the animation team in particular were absolutely awesome - they definitely made the holiday for my son!! They were amazing taking time to engage with Seb! They work super hard. All credit to the animation team

Great hotel but not quite a full 4 star
Good location and great atmosphere however the rooms are a bit tired and in need of repairs. The cleanliness of the rooms is good and the hotel also so no issues with this. It is very family and kids orientated however as a single adult I didn't feel out of place and there are plenty of adults couples also. I paid a high premium for this hotel similar to other 4 stars that I have stayed in around the area however it I didn't feel quite 4 stars. The hotel advertised dress code from rndinner so I brought trousers yet no one wore smart casual for dinner and this wasn't enforced so many say in the same shorts vest and flip flops they wore day in day out for dinner which I felt the hotel should have managed as it brought the hotel down and for this reason it wasn't quite a a 4 and more like a 3 star. They even had a gang pulling loads of beer and playing beer pong right in the middle of the main pool area and nothing was said?
