Where the company states in its blurb’ you come first ‘ I do not think this is the case
I do agree with most reviewers that the grounds are splendid wonderful selection of tress shrubs plants etc . Other than the reception staff ( which we only had one interaction with when checking in) I cannot agree that on the whole the remaining staff were cheerful, friendly etc . The bar staff in the lobby bar were grumpy we waited 25 mins for a drink on the first night were told they were busy but this did not appear to be the case . The staff at breakfast in the Tamaragua were however pleasant. We ate in the buffet restaurant Tamarona on two occasions. We waited approximately 25 mins for a table , there was not a long queue but just inefficiency on the part of the staff. By the time we had sat down had received our wine a half hour at least had passed and we were left with one hour for three courses which was very rushed. On the second occasion the person behind the dessert section started removing desserts @ 9.50 throwing used trays into piles making an awful noise not a very pleaseant experience. Our room though comfortable was very tired and desperately needs an upgrade especially the bathroom.Not sure that we would come again.

Fabulous stay
Absolutely brilliant hotel. Fabulous restaurant, great live acts (saw the lightsabre juggling strongman when we were there mid Sept), fabulous pools (with 'loads of poolside seating) and a must visit spa with a great selection of massages and beauty treatments. Great free parking in the underground car park.

Mini rant....
I'm here at the moment, and I know this is petty, but.........
Do you have to walk around with leaf blowers at 8am, when there are no leaves to blow. The noise is really annoying, when trying to chill on the balcony over a cuppa first thing in the morning. AND why do the dogs next door bark and howl from 7am till 7pm? Have you considered checking if they're ok, or spoken to the owner about the racket they make.
Other than that I'm having a fine time, but I have got a hangover this morning

Friendly staff easy access to restaurants and the harbour.
Love the hotel the staff were friendly especially the entertainment staff . I can't comment on the food as we didn't eat here. There's a supermarket across the road also some excellent restaurants 5 minutes away. Another further 10 minutes and you are in the harbour again with excellent restaurants and bars. My niggles are finding your room when you arrive omg it's a nightmare you have to change lifts 3 times thankfully some kind couple took pity on us and showed us the way. The other complaint is the bar service is poor more than once we just left the hotel to go else where and it shuts early one night we were sat there and they closed at 10.30 Saying that it would not stop us coming back.

Lovely hotel
Stay - 10 days, half board basis. Lovely hotel, spacious room and beautiful grounds and pools. Plenty food options for buffet breakfast and dinner. All staff very pleasant and friendly. Always plenty of beds by the pool. Especially the large children/activity pool. Gabi, the lifeguard at this pool was particularly friendly, always aware of any danger or potential dangers, interacting brilliantly with everyone but particularly with children of all ages! Short walk to the beautiful harbour of Puerto Mogan.
