We were here last year, too... And we couldn’t wait to come back!
We really appreciated the consistency of the staff. Whether at the restaurant, the pool, or in the rooms. They were always very polite, friendly, helpful, and professional.
The resort is beautiful, spacious, very clean, well-organized, and has plenty of lounge chairs....
The same goes for the rooms, which were perfectly maintained every day.
The food was excellent and varied, with a constant selection of meat and fish. The drinks were also very good.
Bravo to the chefs and servers for their dedication and kindness in this heat.
We never had to wait for a table. It’s managed perfectly with a lot of energy.
A great atmosphere all day long. And a pleasant calm in the evening.
This was our second stay at Tabaiba, and certainly not our last....
Hasta pronto

We had a wonderful stay. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout, and the staff were incredibly hardworking, friendly, and always happy to help. The meals were excellent, with a great selection of food and drinks to suit everyone. One of the highlights was that there was never any problem finding sunbeds, which made for a very relaxing holiday. Overall, a fantastic experience, and we would happily return. Highly recommended!
Absolute top resort. Friendly staff all around, good restaurant and everything was kept clean as one would expect. Only downside is that hotel Tabaiba and Maspalomas are mirrored hotels and not that easy to navigate for 7-10y old. Also not clear what the difference is between both sides of the resort as the restaurant, themed restaurants, pool and pool- bars and restaurants are all shared facilities. Nonetheless top notch vacation time.
We stayed with my partner for 11 nights in July 2026. Firstly, the rooms are great partnered with a very spacious luxury feel pool with a good array of drinks at the pool bar although cocktails are lack lustre and you have to upgrade to even consider getting a tasty cocktail as they’re on dispenser eg Pina colada. Food however was lush with a spacious food court and great selection. However, staff in the food court didn’t seem bothered and weren’t the friendliest I’ve ever experienced and seemed to not want to be there at times although some were lovely. The location is mediocre although the hotel itself is worth it because taxis to get to more populated locations are easy to order from reception and relatively cheap working on a metre system. Would recommend going into areas for days out eg puerto de Mogán as the maspolomas area isn’t very lively at times although playa ingles is a €8 taxi away with great feel to it. Entertainment was also quite good at times although varying in quality eg mamma Mia was class performed by talented staff and great evening entertainment for kids . Overall would recommend this stay but wasn’t perfect due to minor discrepancies eg sink was blocked in our room.
I have seen mixed reviews about this hotel some I agree a little and understand some I really don’t so let me try and give you our experience which I hope helps. I visited with my 17 year old daughter first impressions it’s impressive and it’s big! Check in average not over friendly but also not rude efficient I would say nothing that impacted our holiday. We did move rooms first room offered upgrade but overlooked the entertainment stage which wasn’t for us. Room was lovely view from balcony not so lovely. They found us another room not as modern as the first but lovely balcony and view of the pool and palm trees which was great . Room was fine a little worn with wear and tear but we didn’t go on holiday to stay in the room and the amount of people going here I imagine turn around is fast. But it was fine for us and spacious. Tip we missed when you want bed sheets changed there is a card on the bedside table put it on the pillow and they will change the sheets took us a couple of days to work it out. I also took a travel cup for coffee and all in one coffee sachets. I like a coffee in the morning. Did find coffee, tea and sugar at the pool bar you can take to room but they don’t open until 10am and it’s nice to have a coffee in the morning a tip from another review as only had kettle in room as well as taking two empty water bottles to refill as you get one large bottle of water and nothing else Pool was beautiful I always get up early and loved going down finding a spot and reading by pool but you can’t reserve sun beds and leave if you do they take them away which I think is good there are plenty of sun beds. Area very clean there is a sand area on the other side we didn’t bother but it’s different (cat litter comments) and noise wouldn’t agree the pool runs around the whole site there are plenty of lovely places to sit away from music etc pool was lovely and all communal areas very clean one main toilet area for the whole pool agree it’s not great we went to our room or the toilets in main hotel when needed . Food at pool bar what you would expect burgers, salad, pizza and fruit all very nice as were drinks. Main restaurant was lovely and the staff worked hard lots of stations cooking fresh meat and fish so much choice we are foodies and thought every meal was very good indeed for the number they are cooking for it was excellent everyday. Go to the Asian restaurant that was amazing! Entertainment average didn’t over impress but for little ones and families it was good. Lots of young families if this isn’t your vibe then this probably isn’t your hotel at the busy times didn’t bother us. All in all great holiday would not go back not because it wasn’t a great place I just believe the world is a big place and there are lots of places to visit and experience. We did go down to the beech area not great we thought the location outside the hotel wasn’t pretty so we didn’t bother again and enjoyed the hotel but sure other people found great places to go outside hotel but we went out once not that impressive so didn’t bother again. If you have booked this hotel for your summer holiday it’s lovely and I hope you enjoy.
