This complex boasts a charming setting overlooking Maspalomas golf course, boasting stunning views over the surrounding countryside. The hotel enjoys close proximity to a host of attractions, as well as a number of activities, which can be enjoyed nearby. This wonderful hotel features beautifully-designed guest rooms, which feature soothing tones and a peaceful, relaxed ambience. Guests are invited to avail of the many facilities and services that this elegant hotel has to offer. Guests can enjoy the ultimate relaxation in a hammock, amidst an air of peace and serenity, while the little ones play nearby.
This could be a good budget hotel. But unfortunately it is not a safe hotel and the hotel does not seem to care about its guests.
Even though it was 3 months since I stayed at the hotel, I have not received any feedback whatsoever on the theft that occurred at the hotel. Even though the hotel has a 24/7 reception, a fenced area and (as they claim) camera surveillance, my bike was stolen. Even though the bike was locked outside my bungalow, the thief wandered out through the reception early in the morning. The hotel has not responded to me as a guest. Which I interpret as them not caring about their guests.
Good at the hotel: Good and varied selection in the restaurant, nice pool area, nice staff in the restaurant, very nice and welcoming New Year's celebration
Bad at the hotel: Dilapidated accommodation, lack of internet, only Spanish TV channels, cold water in the pools, poor security, incompetent management
Stayed here on a half board basis, I was late checking in , they had a food waiting for me at the pool side bar , room was fine comfortable and clean , housekeeping was 1st class , all staff where very attentive, some of the reviews I’ve read , I really don’t know what some people are looking for , only one little thing Tea/Coffee making facilities in the room would be appreciated
A fantastic welcome was only the start of a hugely enjoyable stay here. I had the all inclusive holiday through jet2 and the three meals provided every day were nutritious, tasty and varied. I noticed there were good choices for vegan and non gluten diners. Some drinks and cocktails were included. Bravo to the chef. The staff are wonderfully helpful and speak English and German as well as Spanish. Special mention to Paula and Moana. It is perfectly located between the jambo centre and the beaches near Faro. But poor planning by the island means it is a circuitous route to either by foot. Thankfully the hotel provide an hourly shuttle bus until 12.45 to Maspalomas and a less frequent one into Las Palmas until 5. Taxis can be called at reception and a trip to either is €6. The only drawbacks are with the gym, which needs to fill in the missing freeweight section, no mirrors to check form and generally uninspiring assortment of machines and kettlebells. No labelling on the weights either. Also the decor within the rooms is faded and needs a freshen up. Throughout the complex there are little jobs that need to be done to warrant 5 stars. If you like your peace and quiet then try getting one of the suites on the outer ring, especially if you have young children who need to be in bed before 8. Poolside music and entertainments can be loud. Really great value for money.
We booked this hotel for 10 nights in Maspalomas but unfortunately only stayed for one night due to serious cleanliness and pest issues.
When we arrived on Friday night (12th), we immediately found a cockroach in our room. I contacted reception and, to be fair, they responded quickly by sending a staff member who killed it, sprayed the area, and even left us the spray can. At that point, I decided to give the hotel a chance as we had already paid for our stay.
However, the reality of the accommodation was very different from what is presented on the hotel's website. The room was not clean, and between the cockroach issue and the dirt inside the wardrobe, I didn't even feel comfortable unpacking our belongings. I ended up buying cleaning wipes myself so that I could clean dust and stains from various surfaces before placing any of our items on them.
The room had both a front and back door, and there was such a large gap around the back door that I could put my finger through it even when it was closed. This immediately raised concerns about insects entering the room.
The following day, a maintenance worker visited and sprayed the room again. We spent the day out and, hoping the issue had been resolved, I also purchased my own insect spray. Before going out for dinner that evening, we sprayed the room ourselves and I even placed a towel along the bottom of the door to try to block the gap.
Sadly, when we returned from dinner, we found numerous dead ants in the shower, two dead cockroaches on the floor, and another live cockroach in the room. At that point, it was clear that this was not an isolated incident but an ongoing problem. We no longer felt comfortable staying there and made the decision to leave, despite having originally booked a 10-night holiday.
While some staff members did try to help, the condition of the room, the cleanliness standards, and the pest infestation made the accommodation completely unsuitable for us. This was extremely disappointing and not the relaxing holiday experience we had expected based on the hotel's advertising and photos.
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel.
I'm leaving this review reluctantly, but unfortunately have been left with no choice due to the ignorance of the resort.
Upon arrival me and my partner were initially happy with everything. However, on the first day, the toilet blocked up and began leaking, flooding the bathroom. We reported this to reception, and when we returned later that evening, it had seemingly been fixed.
On the second day, once again the toilet leaked/blocked. We informed reception again, who reassured me it would be fixed. It was at this point that I informed them that we would be happy to move room if needed.
On a further two occasions during our stay, we went back to complain about the leakage that was not fixed. This time, the maintenance team came, and spent 30/40 minutes fixing the problem. They told us they believed it was our fault, for putting tissue down the toilet.
The toilet was fine, until our second to last day, when once again, it blocked and flooded. By this point, we had ran out of patience. We went to reception, maintenance came (although management failed to) and told us they would have to remove the toilet, as the roots and gone into the pipes underground.
This was the first and only time we were offered a new room, which was basically redundant as it was our last night.
It is completely unacceptable that we spent an entire week in a room, flooding almost daily, with smelly sewage water all over the floor, having to use our towels to soak up the mess. Not only was this a huge inconvenience, but also gross negligence regarding health and safety.
It's worth noting that my partner was unwell for the entirety our stay, whether this is due to the toilet issue, we will never know, but it does make us wonder...
In total, we complained five times, to three different members of the team, and a number of different maintenance workers.
Since returning home on 20/05/26 I submitted an official complaint, which was ignored for 3 weeks until I prompted a response. It's now been a further 4 weeks, and once again we've been ignored.
I wouldn't be writing this review if they had the decency and respect to respond to my complaints, but they clearly do not care.
There are plenty of other places to stay in Maspelomas/Playa De Ingles, I strongly recommend going elsewhere.
