Seaside Palm Beach

Excellent hotel in perfect location. Rooms are well maintained and serviced. Food is always beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Definitely my go to hotel several times a year in Maspalomas.

We have just returned from a wonderful stay and, overall, had a fantastic holiday. The hotel and grounds are immaculate, it is situated in a beautiful location and the level of service from the staff was exceptional from start to finish. We wouldn't hesitate to return.

Travelling with our two year old son, we were made to feel incredibly welcome. Every member of staff took the time to speak to him, wave, or say hello, which made our holiday feel extra special. It was clear that the team genuinely enjoys looking after families. The vast majority of other guests were also warm and welcoming.

The children’s facilities were excellent. The small slide in the children’s pool was a great addition and was thoroughly enjoyed, and the children’s play area was well maintained and provided a lovely space for younger guests. A lovely extra touch was the small children’s amenity kit provided in the room, which was a thoughtful gesture and showed the hotel had considered the needs of younger guests.

The food was excellent throughout our stay and of an exceptional quality. Breakfast was particularly impressive, with a fantastic selection and something for everyone. Lunch from the pool bar was also excellent, and there was a wide variety of branded ice creams available throughout the day.

A special mention must go to Leo at Bar Africano, who was outstanding. He always remembered our room number and provided friendly, attentive service every time we visited. Jennifer and Octavia were also extremely attentive.

The cocktails were a little hit and miss. Some were excellent, while others weren't made as well as we would have expected from a hotel of this standard. That said, the Whispering Angel rosé more than made up for it.

Our room was spotless every day, and the minibar was generously restocked daily with soft drinks, wine, beer, miniatures, a pot of Pringles and a Toblerone. The bathroom was on the smaller side but perfectly adequate, clean and well maintained

The hotel also offered a turndown service, although this tended to take place quite early in the evening, so it didn't quite feel like a traditional turndown service. This is, however, a very minor observation.

The pool team were fantastic, helping guests with towels and sunbed cushions as soon as they chose their loungers. There is also waiter service around the pool, although we found it to be a little inconsistent. On several occasions we chose to walk to the bar ourselves to order drinks, which wasn't an issue, but more regular service would have enhanced the experience.

Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, professional and genuinely happy to help. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble.

Overall, we had a wonderful stay and created some very special family memories. Despite the few minor areas for improvement, the exceptional service, beautiful surroundings, outstanding food and genuine warmth from the staff mean we would have no hesitation in returning.

Very well managed hotel. With clear traffic flow the taxi only took 25 minutes to the hotel. Location is relatively quiet and very convenient for accessing the Maspalomas dunes and Meloneras. Superior room was fine for 2 persons, though might be congested with the inclusion of a childs bed. Breakfast and Main restarant were usually busy but never had any issue in obtaining a table and service was good throughout our stay of 7 days. Food quality in the main restaurant was excellent with an emphasis on fresh cooking e.g. altenating BBQ & Table d'hote ( 3 choices per course) + cheeses & dessert. Decent wine list too. The main fresh water pool is large and attractive, although the depth (1.5-2.2m... I think) may deter the inexperienced swimmer. There is also a smaller salt water pool which was poplular though did not try it. Appeared to cater well for children (separate pool, play are and a club).
