Thanks to the excellent location on coast and a short distance from the southern end of Maspalomas beach, it boasts magnificent views of the ocean and the beach.
The grounds of the building include a swimming pool ideal for a relaxing day. The rest of the pools are located on the rooftop of the building and offers the chance to refresh yourself with views of the Atlantic Ocean. this space also features comfortable sun loungers and chill out spaces with cushions where guests can enjoy delicious snacks and refreshing drinks from the bar.
Faro Lopesan Collection Hotel has 179 spacious and comfortable double rooms. All rooms include a double bed, shower, hair dryer, robe, writing desk, air conditioning, a 43” Smart TV, telephone, minibar, safety deposit box for rent, room service and balcony. Many rooms offer direct and lateral sea views.All rooms are non-smoking.
The hotel offers a selection of hospitality services, from accommodation only to bed and breakfast and half board. Guests have different options as buffet restaurant, à la carte restaurant and two bars, on of them at the pool area. Guests also have the option of dining at the a la carte restaurant (charges apply) where they can choose from a selection of delicious dishes. Infinity Rooftop At the rooftop space, guests can enjoy delicious snacks and refreshing drinks at our bar while they relax at the comfortable sun loungers or take a dip in the pool as the sun sets over the ocean.
The hotel has a spacious gym where you can keep fit during your holidays. Golf enthusiasts can enjoy the 2 excellent 18-hole courses located in the south of Gran Canaria, with discounted green fees available.

Hotel Faro holds a very special place in our hearts. It’s a favourite of my wife’s, and somewhere we are always happy to recommend.
What makes it so special is the people. The warmth of the welcome, the care taken over your stay and the feeling of being genuinely valued as a guest make such a difference. Those are the things you remember long after a holiday ends.
A heartfelt thank you to the team for making our time at Faro so enjoyable. Good service takes effort, and the people who provide it deserve recognition. Your kindness and hospitality are a huge part of why we think so fondly of this hotel.
For us, holidays are precious time together, and Faro is somewhere that makes that time feel special. We’ve come away with lovely memories and a great deal of affection for the place and its people.

Hotel Faro 2026
This year, we returned once again to this lovely hotel and location. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and what the hotel had to offer. From a very warm welcome to a very friendly good-bye, we really had no complaints, and we would highlight the attention and "service with a smile" of staff in all areas. Our stay was on a half-board basis, and we found the a-la-carte option for the evening meal as a positive, compared to the buffet option in our previous visits. As well as the above, together with it being an adult-only hotel, and it being relative small compared to other hotels in the area, we would certainly consider returning again in the future.

Outstanding
Upon arrival you are greeted by very professional and friendly staff and offered some light refreshments. Marcel gave us the rundown on the hotel and was most helpful and accommodating. The room, a junior sweet was very well appointed and stylish and set the tone for a memorable stay. We were made to feel very welcome at all times even down to the pool waiter adjusting the umbrellas to shade you from the sun if you so desired. We certainly received the 5 star treatment but in a very relaxed and pleasant fashion. Well done to Marcel and all the staff. Oh forgot to mention the breakfast was outstanding 👌

Watch the bill and what you get
As a last night treat I booked the rooftop Resturaunt . Our starters were very nice as well as the tenderloin and Angus burger. What I did not like is that they automatically brought bread and butter. I told them I did not order it. Then the “Fresh Orange Juice” was diluted orange of poor quality. I the couple looked like grapefruit. No I am nearly 70 and know a fresh orange juice! Then the bill came and they charged me for the bread which I had to point out- so not overly impressed - Sorry Lopesan
