So after waiting for over a year to arrive I had read loads of reviews and was both excited and scared. Honest review coming up… on arrival check in was quick and easy. We are a family of 5 and requested 2 rooms close together. We were allocated rooms next door which was fab. Block F facing the back of the hotel. We thought it may have been an issue but it really wasn’t, we got the last of the afternoon sun on the balcony. Rooms were basic but adequate and clean and were cleaned daily. The shower was amazing!!!! The food was great and we had no complaints. Themed nights most nights and plenty of other choices. Breakfast I think was the best meal of the day. The Snack bar at the pool always had fresh foods available. The drinks were much nicer in the restaurant than the pool bar, which seemed to struggle with the amount of people using that bar. The first week we never struggled to get a sunbed but into the second week the hotel was much busier and there was a rush in a morning for beds. Some people were queuing from about 7.45. Towels did get removed around 11 tho if no one had been back to them which is great. The entertainment staff work so hard and get everyone involved during the day and at night. We loved the water aerobics/dancing I have never seen as many people join in! Entertainment at night was your usual holiday entertainment, bingo, quiz, artists, hotel dances. Again everyone was encouraged to join in but not pushy. All staff work so hard from the cleaners, kitchen staff and bar staff: the bar staff are really patient especially when they were sometimes getting grief off holiday makers, they take the time to converse with you even when they are busy!!! People need to be a bit nicer to them. My only gripes would be on Tuesdays when the entertainment team are off it would be nice to have some background music around the pool. The self serve drinks machines in the pool bar don’t seem to be able to cope with the usage and were often covered as broken. We had a few trips down to the beach and into playa del ingles. Aqualand was a hit, if you are paying for sunbeds I wouldn’t pay for a locker aswell, as we paid for both and ended up just leaving our stuff at the sunbeds. Everywhere we went to seemed to cost around 7 euros in a taxi or minibus. Aldi is great being next door. We watched a few of the England games in the love hate bar next door, not part of the AI but not bad prices and they are great guys in there too. All in all we had a fab time and although don’t like to go back to the same places we would definitely go back
We just came back from this hotel. After a 10 night stay. As a family of 4 with two older children 21 and 16, we booked 2 rooms next to each other. We were pool facing and 2nd floor up. The room came with a fridge, ceiling fan and portable aircon unit. The room stayed nice and cool. They were cleaned and fresh towels every day. The food is typical all inclusive buffet style food for breakfast lunch and dinner. All fresh though and a few different themed nights. The pool bar serves burgers, hot dogs, chips, toastie, nuggets etc most of the day too, if you have any fussy eaters in your group! The pool bar was always busy. Beer, wine, Cara, soft drinks and hot drinks are all self service from machines. As well as ice cream and slushies. The pool bar was always packed! Normally only two staff members struggling with a que that wrapped all around it. They were friendly and patient but I think the hotel could do with putting another bar in near the reception area. The hotel had teamed up with two neighbouring restaurants a Chinese and love and hate diner. If you’re staying more than 7 nights with a pool facing room you get a free meal at one of these. Also 10% off any other visits to them. The food in both was really good and a welcome change to break up the buffet monotony. As the World Cup was on during our stay we watched it in the love and hate sports bar next door. Not part of the all inclusive but good prices and great food and drink options. The hotel was showing the games but the screen was in the reception area. It’s a fair walk from there to the pool bar where you then had a long que to get a drink. There is a bus provided by the hotel to the beach, which is only a 10min trip down the road. It’s a nice sandy beach with your typical bars, restaurants and tourist shops. Certain parts of the beach are a bit more colourful with sunbathers wanting no tan lines! So if you’re there with small children you might get asked a few question’s! 😂 The entertainment team are great and work really hard. They are friendly and chatty and there is lots to do if you want to get involved. The kids club looked great, the children were always out and about making pizzas, doing treasure hunts and doing arts and crafts. The pool area is clean and well kept, but this was my only moan about the hotel! The pool team are great and the pool opens at 8.30, I soon became one of those people! People que from 7.30 in the morning to get into the cordoned off area. At first I found this funny but soon learned if you don’t join them you don’t get a sunbed! So I set my alarm for 8am every morning! We had shouting, fainting and stand offs around that pool at 8.30am! Waiting for the pool guy to raise his hand so as grown men and women we could descend those steps and claim our beds with towels, books and suncream!
The entertainment team were great and activities were so fun! Raul was amazing
