Club Maspalomas Suites and Spa

This by far exceeded our expectations. Having booked terrible hotels in the past this was everything and more. We booked this as our 1st child free holiday for our 10th wedding anniversary and we can't wait to come back for our 20th. Very pleasant staff who couldn't do more for you, friendly cleaning service who did a 10/10 job, excellent food and drink, lots to choose from and good deals if not on A/I deal. clean everywhere and the perfect little suites to stay in. Perfect size, comfy bed and pillows. Blackout blinds and Aircon on all the time for a blissful sleep and really quite soundproof. Never bothered from any other noise. Free bike hire really handy for dotting about. And an excellent path, safe to journey to and from the beach, camel ride, golf course, shops and restaurants. Pool towels included, could collect and swap as often as needed. Evening entertainment was good especially ABBA. A really special holiday, would definitely recommend.

Could not fault. We went in March when we had heavy rain and wind which was unusual for this time of year. We have been to Canaries in closing Gran Canaria many times in March and not experienced this weather so don’t let it put you off this time of year. Considering the weather the staff really looked after everyone keeping us dry at meal times and cosy blankets when it got chilly if eating outside. They could not do more for you. Food was very good with good selection and bottle of still and bottle of sparkling water (free) at evening mealtime. Nice gesture. Breakfast was very good with proper orange juice not watered down. Plenty of tea coffee etc. Rooms were lovely and clean, we had a separate bedroom and lounge area with fridge. A bottle of water was replaced every day. There was also a cold drinking fountain by the pool you could use to fill water bottles. The pool was safe with a slope or steps. Water was kept warm temperature so no shivering when you get in. Plenty of sun beds plus some low beds with mattresses. There is a bus stop a few metres away or a 20 mins or so walk to Maspalomas shopping centre. Even though it was not the best weather (we did have sun as well as rain) we watched the evening entertainment which was outside the nice thing being you could stay at your meal table and watch from there. All staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough for you. We liked it so much we recommended it to my sister who has booked 2 weeks in November for her 50th wedding anniversary. We will also definitely return in the near future.

This was our second visit and was as fantastic as our previous visit. The bungalows are excellent, cleaned to a high standard. We had a small issue with our shower and it was fixed within half an hour. Staff are friendly and all areas are spotless. Food is delicious and drinks reasonably priced. Enjoyed the evening entertainment, something for everyone. The hotel is situated in a quiet area, but we walked into Maspalomas in 25 mins and there is also a free shuttle bus to the beach. There is a supermarket, bar and a couple of shops within a 10 minute walk. There are bus stops near the hotel to other parts of Gran Canaria. We will definitely be returning, soon hopefully! It’s our little slice of heaven 😊
