This hotel enjoys an exciting setting on the promenade of Las Canteras Beach, in Las Palmas. In the vicinity, guests will find many shops, bars and restaurants as well as many attractions and activities. The hotel lies in close proximity to the beach, where guests can enjoy a leisurely stroll, or simply lie back and revel in the beauty of the surroundings. The hotel is about 25 minutes' drive away from the airport. The bright rooms are equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable and pleasant stay. Guests can have a taste of classic local and international dishes at the hotel's restaurant while enjoying sea views. There is also a bar-cafeteria to relax and catch up the latest sports.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
The NH imperial commands one of the best locations on Las Cantaras beach. Beach beds, bars, great restaurants and the local bus service are all nearby. The hotel itself has a staff team that are nothing less than excellent. We found this hotel a couple of years ago and have returned a few times and never been disappointed with the quality of service.
A neat hotel located right on Las Canteras, with staff becoming more friendly. Other than restaurant and bar it does not have the amenities of typical tourist hotels (there is a gym in sister hotel around the corner) and has more of a business feel but it's sea facing rooms with balcony, whilst small and fairly basic are a joy. and location unbeatable if you want a holiday based in Las Palmas City
3 perfect nights in the best hotel in Las Canteras playa. The cleanless, the service made the bed in the second room of the suite on his own initiative even though I didn't ask for this, the estonishing view from the 9th floor (room 907) and the biggest terrace i ever had in hotel room. The photos did'n reflect the reality, it's not big, it's huge! The variety and the quality of the breakfast. the variety of local products, one of them i didn't knew what they are, but the taste was delicious. a local drink (bibita local) made of strawberies and bananas, the jamon, the sweets...so good!
I stayed at the NH Imperial Playa in Gran Canaria this week. The hotel’s location is definitely its strongest point, right on the beachfront and very convenient for walking around Las Palmas. It’s a great base if you want easy access to the city and the sea. That said, the overall experience was mixed. The room felt quite basic and, in particular, very dark, which made it less comfortable than expected. The bathroom could also be improved, as there was a noticeable smell coming from the pipes. Service was fine and everything worked as expected, but nothing really stood out. Overall, it’s a decent option mainly for its location, but there’s room for improvement in terms of comfort and maintenance.
Great location, clean and well-maintained hotel, and very good service throughout the stay. The staff were professional and helpful, and the overall experience was positive. The main drawbacks were related to in-room amenities and entertainment. The TV system is outdated and does not support easy connectivity with iPhones, and there is no Chromecast or similar streaming option. A kettle for preparing hot drinks in the room would also be appreciated. Additionally, only one complimentary bottle of water is provided upon arrival, with no replenishment during the stay. Despite these minor shortcomings, this is a very good hotel that offers excellent service, cleanliness, and a convenient location.
