Playitas Villas are located on Playitas Resort, one of the world's leading active resorts offering over 30 different sports and fitness activities for those who want to get fit, stay fit or train for an upcoming event.
Set right on the beach in a picturesque bay next to the sleepy fishing village of Las Playitas, the resort offers state-of-the-art facilities including a heated Olympic pool, a Bike Centre with the latest road and mountain bikes, 5 tennis courts, a 700m² gym and an 18-hole golf course.
Every day has a new programme of activities that guests can join - including fitness classes like yoga, pilates, aqua aerobics and zumba; and social activities like guided bike rides, group walks and team sports. During some weeks of the year, usually during Easter, summer and Christmas holidays, there's a free Kids Sports Academy, giving children from 5 to 15 the chance to try new sports and make new friends.
For families, there's a free kids club (4-12), mini golf, a playground, a games room, a separate children's pool and a 122m waterslide. Family entertainment is available most nights.
The resort provides buffet restaurant, two a la carte restaurants and four bars, as well as a supermarket. The next bigger village is Gran Tarajal with different shops, restaurants and bus connections. It is about 5km away.
The 24 villas are located on the back slopes in the north of the bay, with a view over the entire resort. Each comprises 2 bedrooms, a living room and 3 bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped with a coffee machine, toaster, a vitroceramic hob, a dishwasher and fridge.
This hotel is suitable for cycling breaks and welcomes cyclists from all over the world. The hotel boasts facilities to support both the leisure and professional cyclist.

Great base for a month!
We stayed here for a month to escape lockdown and worked remotely. The villa was a great base, cleaned and maintained well with friendly and efficient staff and good facilities for sport. We played badminton, golf, ping pong, crazy golf and swam in the Olympic size heated pool! Also rented bikes and rode up to the lighthouse (el faro), view from the top was worth it (50 minutes up and 45 back). We ventured out walking to eat at la Rampla (so good we went 3 times, excellent!) and casa victor nearby in playitas village and further afield at the weekends.
Only negatives on the villa were
Incredibly uncomfortable sofa and chairs inside
Whicker sun loungers looking a bit frayed.
Inadequate shower head that is sat fixed pointing only one way in the corner of the shower and not moveable unless you have an elastic band!
Not many cooking utensils, just bare minimum and NO oven glove which resulted in a burn as the flimsy wiping up cloth supplied wasn’t nearly enough for using the oven!

Fantastic resort through and through!
Just spent 3 nights in villa 8001 at the playitas resort and it was simply magical. The villa was absolutely spotless and beautiful inside and out on the patio and pool area. We honestly were blown away by the quality of the villa, very spacious with high end finishes and we will 100% stay again. The resort itself is fantastic, the facilities are top quality and the food and drinks were lovely. We especially liked the diavola pizzas, a must try! All of the staff could not do enough for us, extremely helpful and polite throughout. We will hopefully see you again next year!

Loved the visit !
I went with my family to Playitas Resort for one week this december and it was honestly the best vacation we’ve had! The resort had everything we needed, different kinds of training, golf for my dad, a lot of pools for my little brother and food that fit all of us. All of the trainers and all the other staff was super kind and helpful thru out the week. We will absolutely come back in a short amount of time, thank you for this week and all the experiences!

Visited with family in 2019 before covid struck, villas are lish and their are great fitness facilities for people who are inti that, their are 2 high class restraunts here, i frequented the italian one, every dish i got from there was great, really made my trip to fuerteventura special.

Great resort if you want sport
We stayed here in October. 2 adults, an 11 year old,and a teenager. The resort is excellent there is always an activity on somewhere. We had a villa which was clean, functional and quiet. We then walked to and from the resort as and when we needed. Everyone had a good time, we did everything from laying by the pool to multi sport days. We were tired out by the end of the week. The sport facilities are fantastic. The staff are friendly. The food is good quality and well serviced. We were full board, and had 3 meals a day.
