Playitas Villas are located on Playitas Resort, one of the world's leading active resorts offering over 30 different sports and fitness activities for those who want to get fit, stay fit or train for an upcoming event.
Set right on the beach in a picturesque bay next to the sleepy fishing village of Las Playitas, the resort offers state-of-the-art facilities including a heated Olympic pool, a Bike Centre with the latest road and mountain bikes, 5 tennis courts, a 700m² gym and an 18-hole golf course.
Every day has a new programme of activities that guests can join - including fitness classes like yoga, pilates, aqua aerobics and zumba; and social activities like guided bike rides, group walks and team sports. During some weeks of the year, usually during Easter, summer and Christmas holidays, there's a free Kids Sports Academy, giving children from 5 to 15 the chance to try new sports and make new friends.
For families, there's a free kids club (4-12), mini golf, a playground, a games room, a separate children's pool and a 122m waterslide. Family entertainment is available most nights.
The resort provides buffet restaurant, two a la carte restaurants and four bars, as well as a supermarket. The next bigger village is Gran Tarajal with different shops, restaurants and bus connections. It is about 5km away.
The 24 villas are located on the back slopes in the north of the bay, with a view over the entire resort. Each comprises 2 bedrooms, a living room and 3 bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped with a coffee machine, toaster, a vitroceramic hob, a dishwasher and fridge.
This hotel is suitable for cycling breaks and welcomes cyclists from all over the world. The hotel boasts facilities to support both the leisure and professional cyclist.

Lovely august stay
Stayed at villa 12 for 10 nights in August as a family of 4. The villa was amazing, so much room, clean, lovely pool (although slightly cold on a windy day). The grounds are well maintained, the walk to the reception/pool area and beach was a lovely easy walk. The centre itself is good, it's absolutely huge. Really impressed that there are sunbeds available by the main pool up until around midday. There's no lifeguard which was surprising but not an issue as we watch our kids. We didn't do any sports except crazy golf haha. We booked mainly as we wanted a villa on a hotel complex with private pool for our son whose in a wheelchair and this met all our needs. The restaurants food was hit and miss, sometimes cold and the cheeses were swarming with flies, the fish had lots of bones in so ruined a few meals. Staff were great tho. It was lovely to see a few cats around who clearly live there but we're not begging for food and not being chased away by staff either. The only negative to our villa was the fencing around the pool, no fence at the bottom so we lost a few beach balls into the road on a windy day and the fencing at the top ruined the views/picture moments
Great resort if you want sport
We stayed here in October. 2 adults, an 11 year old,and a teenager. The resort is excellent there is always an activity on somewhere. We had a villa which was clean, functional and quiet. We then walked to and from the resort as and when we needed. Everyone had a good time, we did everything from laying by the pool to multi sport days. We were tired out by the end of the week. The sport facilities are fantastic. The staff are friendly. The food is good quality and well serviced. We were full board, and had 3 meals a day.

Paradise
Visited with family in 2019 before covid struck, villas are lish and their are great fitness facilities for people who are inti that, their are 2 high class restraunts here, i frequented the italian one, every dish i got from there was great, really made my trip to fuerteventura special.

Loved the visit !
I went with my family to Playitas Resort for one week this december and it was honestly the best vacation we’ve had! The resort had everything we needed, different kinds of training, golf for my dad, a lot of pools for my little brother and food that fit all of us. All of the trainers and all the other staff was super kind and helpful thru out the week. We will absolutely come back in a short amount of time, thank you for this week and all the experiences!
Fantastic resort through and through!
Just spent 3 nights in villa 8001 at the playitas resort and it was simply magical. The villa was absolutely spotless and beautiful inside and out on the patio and pool area. We honestly were blown away by the quality of the villa, very spacious with high end finishes and we will 100% stay again. The resort itself is fantastic, the facilities are top quality and the food and drinks were lovely. We especially liked the diavola pizzas, a must try! All of the staff could not do enough for us, extremely helpful and polite throughout. We will hopefully see you again next year!
