Hotel Fuerteventura Princess

We stayed for 8 nights. Upon arriving everything was great, our bags were taken to our rooms which was an added bonus. Rooms were clean and modern and I really like them, even the sofa bed is a great size!

Cleaners came daily which was great, my only thing would be is I wish they changed the sheets at least once. We had many issue with our room key not working much meant a back and fourth to reception and then an engineer had to come out but it was all handled exceptionally.

I found the food great! In both restaurants although I preferred the one by the pool as it was less busy and not as hot! The main restaurant is so hot! I was sweating every night. Another thing is waiting at the cooking stations was too much of a queue so I never had any of that. But loved loved loved the pizza and range of salad. There are lots of options and something for everyone.

Sun lounges were hard to get. There was never any free and people were reserving them from like 8am which isn’t meant to be allowed.

Love the cocktails and there is not limit as some people have said. I had as many as I wanted.

Pools we’re great and not too busy and very clean. Pool bar was also very nice.

Adults only bar was great! And the jacuzzis were so nice!

The reception bar was lovely, apart from one lady who was very rude. But the others were so nice and welcoming.

I love the fact there are so many shops inside the hotel, and that you can buy souvenirs etc.

Reception staff were lovely every one of them and so helpful.

It’s a very big hotel, with lots to do and the arcade was a big hit with my son. Lots is seating and spacious all around the hotel. And also some nice quiet areas.

My only thing would be is I wished they offered buggies for disabled people as the walk uphill everyday for my son was a lot.

The location of the hotel is stunning with the beach being a highlight feature close to the hotel. The hotel was very clean and the room was well maintained every day , however the air conditioning was very poor. Never experienced this in hot climates on previous holidays . Furthermore, the entire hotel was terribly hot , particularly the restaurant which you would expect to enjoy your food in a cool environment. All the family were perspirating whilst trying to enjoy our food. The food choice was good, there was something there for everyone . Unfortunately on the second day we as a family came down with a terrible sickness bug , my son is six years old and he was sick the entire day. When we raised this as a concern to the hotel manager we were candidly informed we contracted it from the plane through the air conditioning. We felt this was false information as we met some of our fellow passengers on the return flight whom had not had an illness of the sort . The manager gave us 3 bottles of small water and that the was the conclusion of the complaint. Very disappointing when you spend a significant amount of money on a holiday and spend it being unwell. The staff at the reception were absolutely lovely , they couldn't do enough and were always smiling. Slyvester on the omelette bar was also particularly friendly and made everyone feel welcome. The rest of the restaurant staff were glum, did not give any recognition when you thanked them for taking your plates and so forth. The general reception and lack of warmth really was a theme of the hotel . I have not ever experienced this form of hostility on any previous Spanish holidays. One female staff member in particular located in the adult bar was exceptionally rude to myself and made out she could not understand what I was ordering or conveying . She waved her arms and gave me eye rolls. It felt almost aggressive and is not the behaviour you expect on holiday . On a whole English seemed to be misunderstood and hard to understand and recognise with certain staff members. There was one waitor in the evening who made the effort to speak with us and show an intrest. He was a young North Afraican boy with a joyful smile . The weather was amazing and the hotel itself is beautiful, clean and has a wonderful variety of activities for young children. The pools are amazing too. Regrettably I would not visit this hotel again but with that being said I would visit Furterventura again.
