Set in the prime spot next to the white sands and turquoise waters, the Hotel Fuerteventura Princess is a charming hotel superbly situated on Esquinzo beach. Soak up the sun in one of the hotel's many freshwater outdoor swimming pools, with three adult pools and one children's pool you are spoilt for choice. Live music and entertainment can be found in the evenings for those who want to unwind with a delicious cocktail; and if you have little ones with you, relax, the entertainment team are on hand to look after the children.
Dining highlights include The Principal restaurant where breakfast and dinner is served with an open kitchen, it also has themed dinners, Spanish cuisine and international specialties. For the late risers there is the Restaurante La Choza where you can dine whilst enjoying the view from the terrace. Also available is a Pizzeria, which is adjacent to the main pool for those looking for a hamburger or pizza at mid-day.
This hotel offers an array of excellent amenities including, free sauna and Turkish bath, evening entertainment, live music and a variety of sporting activities from a fully equipped gym to tennis courts and volleyball.

The rooms at the Hotel Fuerteventura Princess have a warm and comfortable atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing break. They also have their own private balcony or terrace, perfect for soaking up the evening atmosphere. All rooms are air-conditioned and have an en suite bathroom with a bath. They are also equipped with a range of amenities including cable TV, fridge, telephone, hairdryer and safe (at a fee).
The glorious beach is not the only thing that Esquinzo has to offer, just a short walk away from the hotel you will find a selection of restaurants and shops. But if you fancy a wider choice then why not explore the popular town of Jandia, this southern peninsula accommodates a wide variety of restaurants and bars for even the most adventurous of appetites.

Lovely week away. Positives and negatives.
We came here for a week in October. There’s nothing wrong with the hotel but there are obvious signs it’s 4* and not above. Positives and negatives for most parts: Main restaurant - great food and plenty to choose from. We came in October when it’s not as busy but the queues are still long to get food. I wouldn’t like it in the summer. The food at all times is plentiful, suits all appetites in our family. Does get a bit repetitive but that’s on all AI places. My biggest peeve was the water machine - you get refillable bottles in your room to save on plastic and the water machine says for AI guests only - it’s water!! Water!! Also there’s AI and ultra AI and it does say there’s different seating areas - not very clear.
The snack bar is above the beach - it’s lovely and recommended. It’s open until 530 if you’re hungry after lunch or you can get lunch from there - burgers/pizza/pasta etc.
Pools - we sat at the kids pool although tried to sit at the other one and it just gets busy really quickly. Pool areas are lovely. They remove towels before 10am if you leave them which is great. The water is freezing - it’s uncomfortably cold, even my kids complained about it. Nice areas and not super noisy.
Entertainment at night isn’t great but the kids disco is fine. The room it is in is awful - it’s dark and dingy and the worst part of the hotel. It really needs a revamp. A few cockroaches in there. The outside bar which leads to sports bar is gorgeous at night. Live music and a lovely seating area.
The beach is gorgeous, it’s through a door so don’t forget your key card to get back! Annoyingly the beds are not run by the hotel and so you have to pay. Just take towels and sit on the sand. €18 for 2 sunbeds. I was super annoyed. The sea is really choppy, kids had a ball.
The staff are lovely - so pleasant, I didn’t come across anyone who was rude. All lovely.
It’s hilly so if you have mobility issues this isn’t the place for you.
All in all a great week away? Would I come back - probably not but it was still value for money for our October week!

Lovely hotel
I am writing this sat in reception awaiting collection to go to the airport so have time to write a comprehensive review.
Rooms. Beautifully decorated and very spacious. Quite a walk to some of The rooms and if you are in any way injured or need assistance ask for one with no stairs and closer to the amenities. Water pressure brilliant and cleanliness top notch.
Pools. So many to choose from. All very large and many Sunbeds and no reserving them before 10am. All with their own all inclusive help yourself drinks stations and bars. Towels included in room and two exchange tokens per week.
All Inclusive & Food
The all inclusive drinks package is limited on cocktails unless you upgrade to premium. I myself am happy with a beer and spirit and tonic but those wanting a vast cocktail menu may want to upgrade to premium.
The main buffet restaurant is large and had So many choices. You would struggle to not find anything you liked. Two poolside restaurant’s offering lunch. Menu again varied. No restaurant that is waiter service even one you pay for.
Beach - lovely beach but for those with mobility issues it is a steep walk down to the beach.
It is about an hour an 15 from airport.
I had a very relaxing stay. My only negative point is that the staff seem only interested and friendly to those who speak Spanish. Can be very abrupt at times. A smile goes along way.

Excellent. Poorly air-conditioning.
Excellent quiet spot. Excellent atmosphere, food and friendly staff. Rooms are nice and well maintained. Only air-conditioning very poor. We was there end of September. Outside temperature was between 27 and 32 C in the room about 25 26 C. Some of the nights was hard to sleep. Price is not to bad but a bit expensive for this time of the year.
Family holiday
Myself, sister and nephew stayed at the resort for a week. We glad we picked the princess.
Good points: The pool areas and restaurants/bar were great. Lunch snacks and drink choices were spot on. Pools were well kept and warm. Plenty of sun beds. Restaurant for breakfast and dinner was excellent. Choice and freshness excellent. Plenty of space to sit and drink choices great. Resort entertainment was entertaining! And my nephew enjoyed the arcade. Rooms were lovely and clean and had everything you needed. Beach was right there with an entrance for guests.
Bad points: Location. It wasn’t within walking distance of much. Staff were hit and miss. Apart from one super lovely and helpful lady on reception. We had a double room with a sofa bed for our smaller guest but with the sofa bed out there wasn’t much room left in the room. Cocktail section very limited for all inclusive. Arcade not manned so if the machine took your money or no tickets left in it there was no one to ask for help.
Overall though I would definitely stay here again and would recommend ☺️

Food poisoning at Fuetoventura princess
We arrived on 5th September and my husband has coeliacs disease which we managed apart from gluten free rolls that were in date but had blue mould on them all, and yes the birds were flying into and out of all of the restaurants even the main one. However on the 18th September the day before our flight home, I was admitted by ambulance to Fuetoventura hospital with food poisoning, they put 3 drips on me and a catheter, I thought I was gonna die, today 8th October is the first day that I have any level of energy, its put me off travelling, I had tests when I got home through the doctor, I am manging now but still only just getting over it, think twice, I was delirious and if it hadn't been for my husband acting quick I dont think i'd be here.
