The 4 star all inclusive hotel Club Jandía Princess in the south of Fuerteventura is a paradise for adults and children alike. Located directly at Playa Esquinzo, this all inclusive hotel has two separate areas, one for adults (as of 18 years) and one for families.
The family area is tailored to the needs of children. The smallest guests just love the “Farm Princess” with its goats, rabbits, chicken and sheep and the vegetable patch, where they can plant and harvest to their heart's delight. The colourful, comic-style painted walls of the mini club describe the adventures of the “Principito”, the mascot of the mini club. It's the perfect place for the daily fun activities with the entertainment team.
The adults-only section is focused on privacy, relaxation and tranquillity. The wellness area offers relax pools, swim-up bar, whirlpools and a spacious fitness centre. A special Body & Mind sports program brings harmony to body and mind. Below the zen-area with its sauna and massage options, steps lead directly to Playa Esquinzo beach. For a small fee, guests of the family section may enjoy the facilities and services of the wellness area in the adults-only area of the hotel.
The core of the 10 building, bright-white complex is the shared pool landscape with its bars, and the main building with its buffet-style restaurants.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Second time at this hotel (first time was 12 years ago as a couple). This was our first time with our little girl and we will 100% be back. The food was amazing, atmosphere was great and so much to do during the day and evenings. There is something there for everyone. Perfect location as on the beachfront. We would just love to shout out Laura and Norman from the entertainers because you were the highlight of our daughter's holiday. Your care and attention to all the children was unmatched at the mini disco. Created such a lovely atmosphere where the children could learn new dances and enjoy the evenings. My daughter would ask all day when it was time for the disco so thank you to you both. Would highly highly recommend to anyone to stay here and cannot wait to go back already.
Just come back after spending the week to celebrate my husband's birthday. Upon arrival hotel very clean, staff all friendly and adults only areas was great. We did read other reviews that the hotel was looking tired, and it does, however the hotel have addressed this by closing and doing a refit, but this did not affect our stay as the room was lovely, sea view, big bed and well equipped.
We did come across a couple of niggling/disappointing issues. We actually ran out of water in the bathroom at one point so couldn't take a shower or run the tap, maintenance fixed it but not something you expect to happen at a 4* hotel. Food was OK, typical Spanish hotel, pizza, chips every night, but also a good variety of meats, fish and other dishes that were served. The 'snack bar' actually isn't a snack bar. It's a restaurant that you can't take food out of, so you can't sit by the pool and eat. Also the food here is absolutely the same everyday. Chips, pizza, nuggets, sandwiches etc.
The All inclusive has become typical Spanish now which doesn't actually mean all inclusive. Cocktails had to be paid for. €5.80 for a Mojito. Crisps, Ice creams, etc all to be paid for. So basically 'snacks' are not included.
It would be nice if this hotel could have food allowed around the pool alongside the self service drinks. Melon, chips, crisps etc, something for people to snack on, that they can help themselves too.
Overall we had a nice stay and right on the beach makes it a good location.
We had a family holiday with 27 of us and had the best time ! A huge thank you to Esteban and Norman on the activity team for getting us involved with lots of activities and for always going above and beyond . They are so energetic and happy despite working so hard ! Both extremely supportive when teaching us how to play archery and made our days fun. Esteban put 100% effort into speaking English to us throughout and made us all laugh and smile, making our holiday even more memorable. Thank you so much, the best entertainment team !
The hotel is very nice have everything you need to have good recovery. The food is in spanish style with large variety of tastes excellent fishes and vegetables. Also gluten free and for vegan Maybe the rooms need a little makeover but the view i excellent
Returned from this hotel 5 July . If you are going to this hotel request that your preference is not to stay in block 5. It’s run down and needs renovation desperately. Being in our 70’s it was a battle every day with the stairs and steep paths leading to all amenities. This became a challenge after dark as there was no lighting after block 6 leading up to block 5.On the good side the maid kept our room spotless. On day 1 reported to reception that the fridge in our room was not working and that I needed a working fridge for medication purposes, was promised that fridge would be fixed or replaced, this did not happen. Last moan about accommodation, the back of block 5 was used as a dumping ground. The pools and surrounding areas were keep clean ,shame the pool was quite cold . Entertainment was quite poor, good job the World Cup games were being shown daily. The main restaurant was clean but seemed very unorganised we were shifted daily from one area to another as the clientele changed. Food was plentiful if you could get near it. The serving utensils were a battle quickly becoming clogged with food. In general unless you waited as food was freshly cooked you found food on counters was tepid at best. The area where the hotel was situated was lacking any shopping areas other than the one supermarket which wasn’t very super.
