Great Stay
Had a great 8 night break at the Coral Cotillo Beach hotel, our first visit to Fuerteventura. The hotel was clean, reasonably quiet,in a great location and with friendly staff. Maids cleaned our room daily and there was a handy supermarket next door. The beach plus bars and restaurants were all within easy walking distance. A special mention to Maria Garcia on reception who handled any problems with efficiency and friendliness and gave out great restaurant recommendations. Would we return here? Yes, without a doubt.
Highly recommend Hotel Cotillo Beach
Spent a great fortnight at Coral Beach. El Cotillo had been recommended by friends who often rent an apartment in the village. I enjoyed it so much that I have just booked to go again over Christmas.
It became apparent, during the booking process, that there was a significant saving to be had booking a package deal with Jet2 flying, in my case, from Bournemouth. Undoubtedly the best airline that I have flown with from this country.
On arrival, it is normally an hour and a half transfer from airport to hotel so I was going to get a taxi for about €60. As I was the only person going to El Cotillo, Jet2 provided a taxi transfer as part of the deal.
Check in at Coral Beach was quick and efficient, all Reception staff were excellent. I had requested a balcony room with a pool view. Some of the surrounding area is being built on, but I wasn't disturbed by building noise. There is a decent beach a 5 minute walk from the hotel although there were no facilities there. I believe you have to walk further along it for those.
The site is kept very clean and all staff are excellent. The man who cleaned my room was always very good, but I decided that i only needed him every other day. One suggestion would be not to book a room on the same side as Reception. The balconies were frequently in shade.
Breakfasts were good with a variety of hot and cold although I couldn't understand why they didn't provide butter? Lunch ran from about 12:00 till 5:00 so rather than have an evening meal, there are plenty of great places within a 10/15 minute walk, I would sometimes order something about 4:30 which meant the evening was free.
There is a good supermarket less than 2 minutes from the entrance and an ice cream shop even closer that has "normal" and gluten free ice cream.
All in all a lovely holiday with temperatures in the high 20's and no rain.

Superb hotel
Superb hotel. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming.The room and hotel was spotless.The choice of food was superb with something for everyone. The location was also great in easy walking distance to beaches and harbour.Would highly recommend a stay in this hotel.

Lovely Clean and Peaceful Hotel
Third visit to this hotel and definitely plan to visit again. A friendly, clean and peaceful hotel in a nice quite resort with plenty of nice place to eat out in an evening, I have nothing negative to say about this hotel.

Great hotel with a relaxed vibe
Just back from a week at this lovely hotel, staying with my friend, my teen daughter, and two of her friends. We all loved the stay and the hotel exceeded our expectations. The rooms were spotless, and cleaned daily and had everything we needed (coffee machine rather than kettle but that suited us). The breakfast was amazing, with more than enough for every taste. The pool area was also spotless, with plenty of loungers and a lifeguard on duty daily; the pictures don’t really do it justice. The staff team were all friendly and helpful, and it was good to know about the hotel’s eco policies. We loved the village and the area, with the free FEM music festival on the 3rd and 4th July an unexpected treat, especially for the teens. Five very happy travellers!
