Secrets Bahia Real Resort and Spa

Just home from a week at secrets bahía real resort and spa futerventura. The hotel is absolutely stunning from the moment you walk in, service was great and glass of fizz. The decor truly beautiful Our suit was gorgeous, lots of space separated lounge and bedroom, large bathroom with shower,whirlpool bath double sinks and toilet and b.day. Huge balcony overlooking sea stunning.

Service and staff very friendly lots of smiles and helpful. Main buffet restaurant lots of choice for breakfast (big shout out to dipesh he was fab every morning and thankyou so much, kind helpful and attentive (. Dinner there also was great choice just one eve we wanted to eat outside lots of tables free but as there was 3 of us asked if we could push 2 tables together the lady was quite rude and just said no go inside...not very friendly. We ate at Italian again food was lovely just felt rushed in out course after course but staff friendly and helpful. We ate at Japanese wow amazing highlight of dinners incredible food service staff thankyou Mr. Rong truly fabulous 👌. We also ate at Mediterranean food was stunning, just my husband asked for no cheese sauce on starter as hurts his stomach but they served it covered in it he asked for it to be re done and have plain but they said just have a salad so in the end he had no starter, and they did mutter as they walked off, my husband wasn't happy but the rest of food was fantastic lovely restaurant and stunning decor.

The pool area is gorgeous however somedays was towels wars sadly.. people putting towels down then gone all day... ok if your going for lunch but all day... The towel guys are also great. Also a sun trap great for us.

Bar for drinks is very good and beach bar. Beach had great sun loungers only downside we couldn't go into sea way to rocky especially for me with bad spine if only more golden sand thats my only downside to hotel otherwise exquisite 😀.

We did ask about rock and ball nightclub, sadly told this never opens such a shame even if once a week would make a big difference. Evening entertainment ok yes very relaxed but also very same as night before, again staff very prompt and look after you.

Had a wonderful spa massage this is a must and indoor pool and sauce also worth a visit.

Love the location and everything you need to enjoy this hotel is available , you never need to leave the hotel, you can have a different experance every day, Day at the pool Day at the beach Day at the jacuzzi area on sun beds Day in the spa and gym Only problem is you never want to leave.

This is definitely not a five star hotel, in my opinion.

The welcome drink was served in a paper cup.

The drinks menu was difficult - for example, all the ingredients of a cosmopolitan cocktail are included in the package, but a cosmopolitan cocktail is extra

The buffet was horrendous. Maybe my standards are higher, but this food cannot be classed as 5*

The room was nice, but we paid for a sea view and were on the ground floor, granted we had a sea view, if you can look past the massive glass screens.

A 9am race to secure your torn / ripped sunbed.

Heated pool was freezing.

Most staff were helpful though.
