The family-friendly Playa Park Zensation is in the northeast of Fuerteventura - a popular destination due to its white sand beaches and typically warm weather. Set in the resort town of Corralejo, Playa Park Zensation is within walking distance of shops, bars and restaurants, and it's a short walk to the nearest beach. The hotel's modern buildings are Spanish in style. They sit in tree-lined gardens surrounding the pool area.
The nearest city centre with bars, restaurants and shops can be reached in around 20 minutes walking distance (1,5 km) from Playa Park Zensation. The nearest sandy beach is approx. 800 m away. And the popular beach ”Las Dunas” can be reached in approx. 2,5 km. A shuttle service operates daily from a bus station approx. 300 m from the hotel. From Corralejo, boat trips leave for Lobos Island, where you can go snorkelling in clear waters. Down the coast from the hotel, you'll find Corralejo Natural Park, a protected coastal area with a rugged volcanic landscape in the south.
You can take a day trip to Fuerteventura's capital, Puerto del Rosario, found on the island's east coast. Here, there are shops and boutiques to browse in the pedestrianised areas, or you can admire the outdoor sculptures. At the beaches of Playa Chica or Playa Blanca you can go swimming, or relax with a drink in a bar looking out to the Atlantic while watching the surfers.

Excellent stay
Excellent hotel rooms very clean and have everything you need. Pool area is lovely and always able to get a sun lounger. A ten minute walk into Corralego which has some nice shops and bars. The food at the hotel was amazing plenty of choice for every meal and all very fresh, lots of desserts and fresh fruit for all meals. We visited the Italian al a carte on the Friday night and again the food was amazing I had lasagne and it was the best I have ever had and all the different breads were really good. Would definitely recommend and could not find fault with anything at this hotel.

Lovely peaceful stay
Amazing hotel.
We normally book villas but decided on a hotel for a week. Check in was late due to a late flight about about 10pm I had emailed ahead to request a particular block but reception said they were all occupied. Another staff member overheard and jumped in and said they had received a cancellation and we were promptly assigned a room in our preferred block.
The room was immaculate, bedroom, bathroom separate lounge with divider and separate kitchen area with hob, and fridge. We were 1/2 board so didn’t really use this only for drinks in the fridge.
Room was spotless and maid came every day to change towels and make the bed.
We had a Downstairs room so had a patio with 4 chairs, table and 2 Sun loungers.
We used the restaurant for breakfast and lunch at are out in the evening. Food was plentiful and varied, we never had difficulty finding something to eat. Staff kept the dining area clean and tables Wes cleared quickly.
All staff worked their socks off keeping the hotel clean and were all very pleasant and accommodating.
There was entertainment throughout the day and evening though we didn’t use this as we were out every evening . My husband used the gym which was well equipped but had no air conditioning so it was stifling.
My only niggles are that the bedroom pillows were not very comfortable more like long boulster pillows and there were no padding on the Sun loungers which would have been better that said they were all in working order, clean and plentiful.
I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel a well deserved 4* rating.

Amazing experience
Gino and Jorge what can I say, they make the best entertainment team. They really made our holiday so much fun. Rooms big and cleaned every day. Food was nice but a bit repetitive. Pools are lovely and plenty of sunbeds but it was quiet as out of school holidays. Would definitely return.

I cannot rate this hotel high enough! The facilities, location, entertainment day and night, food, staff, cleanliness, grounds is fabulous!
I loved the hotel before but since refurb it has added to the ambience.
Entertainment - day good variety of things to do should you want and good team. Gino is life and soul of entertainment! Evening - different shows soul singers, elvis, acrobats. Highly recommend the soul acts and Elvis at this hotel, they never disappoint.This visit Bayside, second emotion were good and Gladys and friends amazing. Eve dining hours they have some great singers, guitarists, saxophonists just outside. Eve in main area prior to acts there is bingo, quiz then live show followed by music or karaoke etc.
Pool is not that cold (it used to be like ice), top tip shower first and you will go straight in.
Dining... Breakfast is the best with quality and variety! Omelettes cooked to order, selection of breads, fruit, salad, cold meats, cereals, juice, smoothies, pastries, pancakes, yoghurts, full breakfast with trimmings mushrooms, hashbrowns, tomatoes, beans fried or scrambled egg etc. Lunch varies with hot food, soup, dishes, salads. Dinner themed nights, italian, asian etc.Snacks 3pm to 5pm available cakes, burgers, chips, hotdogs.
Rooms are clean as are the areas within the hotel. The cleaners work very hard and lifeguards also maintain grounds.
Reception , these are all approachable and the face of the hotel welcoming you. They have great knowledge, friendly and helpful!
Restaurant to book highly recommend this. Starters seafood, cold meats, salads breads. Hot food lamb, lasagne, etc. Cooked to order pasta dishes, steak and swordfish.
Spa great experience with steam room, sauna, jacuzzi pool, ice pool. Recommend this at least once! Very relaxing! Also recommend massage!
There is a gym onsite too fully equipped
Ground floor apartments for those with mobility issues have open terrace and sunbeds with flat surfaces.
Local area - not far into corralejo itself, it's walkable or taxi approx 5euro. Immediate local area supermarket and cafes markets etc 3 minute walk.
Book your stay here and you will not be disappointed.

Second visit
We have just returned from a week's stay, we stayed 7 years ago and they've made improvements since. The rooms are lovely, decorated well, very clean and the aircon is great. Daily housekeeping (however sheets not changed every day)
The food is good, there is some lovely variety, my partner is extremely fussy but he even managed well.
Staff are great, and very attentive. Even table service in the outdoor bar area.
Some named spirits are included with the all inclusive and you also get an evening meal included in the Al A Carte restaurant and the staff give a five star service.
The entertainment is okay, the acts are very much the same vibe every night but it's pleasant.
Pool is nice, the infinity pool on the rooftop is also lovely and gives that luxury feel.
It is located well to the local shopping centre and then the strip is a further probably 15 minute walk but taxis easily accessible.
It's a lovely hotel overall, very chill and we will definitely be staying again.
