More than disappointed
I honestly don't know where to start. Please dont book if you want self catering you are dumped in the Annex next door which is a run down very much in need of maintenence private apartment complex with zero facilities. Nothing works Wii fi needs a degree to turn on and you get nothing in any form of information on the apartment. As a family we booked 3 x 1 bed apartments (not cheap) my mother 81 in 1 myself and 2 daughters in another (had to take the sheets off my mothers other bed so I could sleep on the sofa bed ) and my brother and my son in another. So room 38 brother and sons room air con not working at all asked 3 times for it to be looked at and was told we inherited the 14 self catering apps so we dont care make do with a fan. My room no they will not give extra towels we have to pay oh and also there is no changing of towels or sheets for the entire stay. My mothers Wii fii didn't work nor the tv. The pool was honestly the best bit of where we were but please beware if you are not a good swimmer or not blessed with height be careful its .1.5 m deep. We did go in to the main hotel once but as others have said slime walls and debris in the pool so didn't return and asked 3 days about the air con towels etc but got nowhere. The hotels website is a serious case of fale advertising and actually should be removed from their site. I would never ever recommend this place please be aware

One week stay
Very good location, short walk into the music square which was good fun.
The lock to our room wasn’t working on arrival, this broke twice afterward. The maintenance man was very helpful as we had asked for him to clean our air con unit, and noticed the lock wasn’t working and was already fixing it.
The room’s not very private, as bathroom door has a large gap and no lock and is right next to the bed. We had to have the air con unit cleaned, as I have a dust allergy and woke up with a swollen face and inflamed eczema after our first night. This was cleaned on day 4/5 of the trip. Also found that our bed sheets weren’t getting changed until we had taken them off the bed ourselves, again this was about day 4/5 of the trip.
The pool is a good size, when we were there we struggled to get a bed a couple of times. There’s a sign saying no reserving sunbeds but there was a day where roughly 75% of the beds had been reserved but no one actually came out until about 5pm. Think the rule needs to be enforced properly. The pool sides felt quite grimy, and when I was by the sides of the pool there was lots of black bits floating around - not sure if this is where paint had chipped, but the pools sides look like they needed a clean.
We didn’t eat at the all inclusive much, the food selection wasn’t the best and there was only 2 cocktails which changed every day. However there was a long list of spirits included. The location of the hotel was honestly the best part, so many shops right at your doorstep, and the beach not too far away. And lots of restaurants to choose from.
Unfortunately, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again, but with that said the staff are so pleasant and helpful.

Not the best
It wasn't the best hotel I've ever stayed at, but it wasn't the worst either.
We arrived at around 12pm and only had to wait about 30 minutes for our room, which was a nice surprise since check-in isn't usually until 3pm. The location is great—close to shops and restaurants, and only a couple of minutes' walk from the beach.
Unfortunately, things went downhill once we got to our room. It really needed a deep clean. The floor clearly hadn't been mopped, as my white socks turned black within minutes of walking around. There were brown stains on the sofa, marks all over the floor, and the mirror was dirty. It honestly felt like the only things that had been cleaned before we arrived were the bed sheets and towels.
During our 5-day stay, our room wasn't cleaned once. We even had to ask the cleaners for fresh towels because they weren't replaced, which was disappointing.
The food was very hit or miss. On our first visit to the restaurant, I unfortunately found a hair in my food. Some meals were good, but other times we chose to eat out instead, even though we had booked all-inclusive. The drinks were decent enough, but during the day there were only two cocktails available, which was a bit disappointing considering we had paid for an all-inclusive package.
Another issue was the sunbed situation. The pool opens at 9am, but by 9:05 there were no sunbeds left. There are signs saying that reserving sunbeds isn't allowed, but nobody seems to enforce the rule. People reserve them with towels and disappear for hours. We even saw one family of three reserve five sunbeds before leaving the hotel for around five hours. We ended up using two of the unused beds, and when they eventually came back, they argued with us for taking "their" sunbeds, despite only being three people and having reserved five. It made the whole pool area feel unnecessarily stressful.
Overall, we still managed to enjoy our holiday because the location was great, but the hotel really needs to improve its cleaning standards, housekeeping, and the way it manages the pool area. With better cleanliness, more consistent food, and better enforcement of the sunbed policy, it could be a much better place to stay.

ROOM
No complaints, clean, tidy, shower good, aircon worked, balcony good. However there is limited privacy as the shower door has a huge gap in it and no proper bathroom door also. So if you go with a new partner... I hope you're familiar with ecah other by then! FOOD
Typical all inclusive type of food. Not a bad selection and plenty for kids to choose. Clean and pleasant dining room.

No issues and all very pleasant and professional
POOL BAR
Excellent with no issues. Need a euro to hire the cup which you keep all week.
LOCATION
I was aware it was over an hour from the airport. Corralejo itself is a very welcoming and good atmosphere town. You have the water park only 10 mins walk away and the town is on your doorstep with lots of shops and restaurants to choose from. Bowling and arcade place nearby too if you have kids. Beach is also 10 min walk. So location was ideal.
POOL
Unfortunately the pool is rather disgusting. The water is so murky you can't see your hand in front of your face under the water. Lots of poo particles floating around and the walls within have greasy mouldy substance on. The tiles around pool are poor and some cracked and need grouting. The white filter track around the pool is lose and comes off as soon as you stand on it. There us a large 2 foot by 1 foot hole in the bottom of the pool where the concrete has completely come away and lose ends are hanging off. Huge safety risk and again why is this not checked?! Pool should be vacuumed and cleaned daily.. I never saw it being done and you can tell. Such a shame as the hotel grounds are nice and the pool is a key feature. They need to spend some time and money getting this pool up to scratch. And we are at the beginning of the summer season too!!
POOL RULES
Why does this hotel say no reserving sunbeds when that's exactly what happens every single day! I had no option other than to join the others like a sheep at 9am to run for a sunbed. I absolutely hate hotels that don't enforce this rule! One lifeguard allowed ball games and the other didn't.. Which is it?!
UMBRELLAS
Not enough umbrellas at all to go round. So as I write this on my last day here.. I am under a towel stretched over my head as are my 2 daughters as I didn't make the 9am reserving ! Is this what I paid good money for?!
ENTERTAINMENT
Pretty poor effort and not really any on. We just had dinner and went into the town for a walk each evening. The world cup was on so we had good reasons to sit in bar and watch that. If you have young kids don't expect any good kids disco or similar.
WOULD I RECOMMEND?
Sadly not. There is very good elements to this place but as I've described above some things are unacceptable when you work all year for this holiday and expect 4 stars to be pretty perfect.
If you have booked to come here don't be too worried... We have enjoyed it but the pool issues are crucial. Hopefully the management reads this and takes on board my honest review and considers the issues raised.

Fantastic holiday and hotel
Just got back from a lovely stay at this hotel and had a fantastic holiday.
The hotel itself is beautiful, the pool is lovely, the rooms are a great size, and everything was kept clean and comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and always happy to help. The food was good quality with plenty of choice, and the drinks were excellent too.
Great location for the beach, restaurants, bars and less than a 10 min walk from the water park! We had a brilliant holiday, and thought the hotel was great value for money! We'd happily come back!!
