This only adults complex is characterized above all by its luxurious atmosphere and the facade of the hotel looks like a wooden boat. We have Reception, Restaurant on the sea front for breakfast buffet and a La Carte, Chill-Out Bar in the Solarium with panoramic swimming pool and another Solarium with even more spectacular views on the Island of Lanzarote and Island of Lobos. Wifi throughout the whole building. Air conditioning in all common areas and rooms.
Best room on the beach with a view and first time solo. My room is double aspect, comfortable, on the beach and much more than expected as a solo traveller for the first time as a widow . Cleanliness, roof terrace, staff and comfort exceptional Huge bed views to die for. Just love it.
We absolutely loved this hotel. Fantastic sea view, lovely clean rooms and a great location. The rooftop pool is heated and there were very few people there (maybe because it wasn’t peak season). Whilst having a shower you can see the sea which I loved. Would recommend to anyone.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Warm welcome from reception staff upon arrival and they all had a friendly greeting each time we left or returned to the hotel - same with the lovely housekeeping staff. We had a query about the safe and the guy was there to resolve it almost before we'd put the phone down! As everyone says, the rooms are immaculate, bright, roomy, have comfy beds and a sunny balcony. I absolutely hate these glass walled bathrooms that seem to be the norm these days, but here they have a privacy strip. There's a fabulous 2 tier roof terrace, both with breath taking views - 1 with loungers around a plunge pool and the the other with occasional tables and chairs. You can request drinks via a wall phone and they're brought up to you. I would definitely go back BUT would go room only. Sadly I felt the Barracuda bar really let this place down. Staff were aloof and unsmiling, appeared to prioritise passing trade rather than hotel guests and the food was bland and tasteless. A couple we sat next to most days stopped to inform the staff they were leaving the next day and to thank them, the waitress didn't make eye contact at all and replied with a very curt "enjoy your stay". Rude, and the reason I didn't give 5 stars,
Have just returned from a week in Corralejo staying at La Marquesina. We stayed room only due to some of the breakfast reviews on here. This suits us as we don’t always want to eat first thing. Having stayed in Corralejo before we knew we could also get good food throughout the town when we were ready to eat. The hotel is next to the town beach and is well located for the bars, shops, restaurants and music square. There is a hypodino supermarket close by. You enter by a small reception area at the side of the hotel and there is a lift to all floors including the roof top pool. The reception staff were great and friendly. We stayed in a deluxe sea view with balcony room which was more than adequate for our needs. There was enough storage however a dressing table would have been welcomed. The balcony is probably a foot short in its width for it to be comfortable. The doors have shutters and it is advised to close these at night especially during high winds. There is a bar outside the reception where the locals tend to hang out in the evening and can see this could unsettle some guests as they don’t move out of the way when you are trying to get somewhere. Also the music from the music square goes on until about midnight so if you are after an early night bear this in mind. We only used the rooftop pool twice due to shocking weather but there is enough sun beds to go round and the pool was reasonably warm and also had jacuzzi jets. The view from the pool is fantastic and you can see a full 360 degrees around the resort. Only thing negative I will say is that it is starting to look a bit tired and just needs a bit of a cosmetic face lift, fresh varnish, lick of paint but that is only a minor issue. Out and about we ate at El pescador, La Tahona and La Placita in the music square. 13 bistro and Tapas, Me Gusta Tu which served Polish tapas and pierogi as well as having a few cheaper meals at the Retro bar and Seven Pints. Also had a great pizza at Pizzeria Peperone. Bars visited were kaktus, La Eskina and Florita all of who did great cocktails. Again also mention Retro bar and Seven Pints. Overall considering the weather wasn’t the best we still had a great holiday, met some great people and will no doubt be back in the near future.
The best around. we stayed in May and booked through booking.com. Hotel is immaculate. We had room 8. Try and get this room if possible and its available. Perfect.
