The staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Every morning we saw maintenance & cleaners making sure everything was spotless around the pool and the hotel in general. Our room was cleaned everyday and fresh towels provided. We had a small leak above the toilet which meant most of the time you went to the toilet, a drop of water would hit your back. We mentioned this to the front desk staff who immediately sent maintenance. Maintenance took one look at it and said it wasn't bad and left - the front desk didn't seem happy that it wasn't rectified but it didn't spoil our stay. There are plenty of sunbeds around both pools which was lovely as usually when abroad you have to play sunbed wars. Not many parasols but that didn't bother us. Our room was ground floor, a stones throw from the pool so when we wanted shade we just sat on our patio. Hotel staff and the hotel in general is lovely. We were saddened that the all inclusive package only includes the cocktail of the day - all the other cocktails you have to pay for. Personally I feel that even a handful should be included so you have some choice at least. Staff aren't shy if you ask for a double though, you'll get what you ask for! Basic selection; flavoured liqueurs, vodka, whisky, gin, rums and the lager on tap is San Miguel so that was decent. You have to pay a refundable deposit of 1 euro per cup and they dont accept card so it was a bit inconvenient having to go to a cash point; the one in the main lobby charges €5 so also not ideal but we couldn't be bothered walking around and just wanted a drink! This hotel has the potential to be amazing but sadly the food is a huge let down. Not the best I've had and not the worst... (my partner begs to differ and says its some of the worst food he's ever had on holiday). We spoke with 5 separate groups/couples who all agreed the food was really poor. It is such a shame as the potential is there with the hotel!! We ended up eating out for most meals which defeats the point of paying for all-inclusive. The coffee tasted cheap and the juices were watery. We didn't let this spoil our holiday but sadly we wouldn't return and wouldn't recommend.
Food the ethos appears to be to feed as many people for as little money as possible. We booked a twin room but were given double room and they wouldn’t do anything about it. Couch is broken in the room. Promised to move us but didn’t. Found a long hair in the bed , they did change the sheets again. The PR lady , when we complained about the amount of drink being consumed in the pool told us that all inclusive means loads of drink and laughed at us. All staff at reception when we spoke to them to sort it out spoke in Spanish and we felt humiliated. Will never stay at a BLUESEA complex again.
PROS; We had a very enjoyable relaxed holiday here. The food was fantastic and so much variety. We got to enjoy Crab, prawns, fresh fish. Really can’t rate it highly enough. Mornings, nice omelettes freshly made and all the usual English breakfast stuff ( if that’s what you like ) Lunch time was lovely kebabs and always something being freshly made, pizza etc . Rooms were lovely and spacious and cleaned each day if you want. Water on arrival but then to fill yourself each time. Fridge in the room and nice clean bathroom. Never struggled to get a sun bed but we were there at beginning of September. Lovely strip of shops outside the hotel and 10 minute walk to the beach , which is very seaweedey and not how it looks on the tik tok videos. CONS: on arrival to the hotel the rooms were not ready which is perfectly fine. So we went to get a drink from the bar …. Was told we all need 1 Euro to be able to have a drink !! You have to put a deposit down for a drink or no drink ! We were so thirsty after our journey and had not bought any euros as it is meant to be all inclusive !!! When have you ever had to buy a cup to have a drink on all inclusive?? We then found a cash machine in the lobby which then charged you £5 to take any money out !! Please charge another £1 on the price of people’s holidays or even more but don’t ask me for money when i get to an all inclusive - all i was thinking is that’s made my annoyed as i am thirsty and now can’t get a drink for this holiday i have paid for. Second complaint is that some of the staff are very rude. Waiter in the restaurant nearly gets you in the face as he angrily swipes plates away when you have finished and feels like he is purposely taking plates etc aggressively , he is very odd and stares at you strangely. Heard a number of people commenting the same. Next is the guy in the bar and somtimes dinner hall in the blue t shirt, extremely rude to my son after he wanted a drink at 10.55 and poured them and then told him he had to pay for them and then when he asked why he said because all inclusive had ended: my husband came to see what was going on as he had come back for his wallet. When my husband returned with him he said he should have known he had to pay as the man in front of my son had to ?? Why would my son be paying attention to you serving the guy in front and why then say what am i supposed to do with these now and pour it away sarcastically. How about tell someone politely you have to pay now, before making the drink ! Imagine i would be leaving a better review if it was not for this.
Our stay been lovely we enjoyed all and we would like mention Rami to be so polite
I would say the hotel is very average, good location, but... Floors by the pool only cleaned once a week not very nice to have do Dodge spilt drink on the ground with bare feet, they don't even brush the stones up either, bins are just getting emptied at 9am, windows in the restaurant are seriously needing De-greased as all you can see is big circle marks, seen a frew cockroach (not the best sign) , requested sheets to be changed and they only changed one set, 2 lots of beds but only one set got changed and we knew this as there was a rip in the sheet that had been there all week... Personally I would say the food was average, even going at 8am for breakfast opening the food was luke warm at best.. Dont cater for young children.. Then there's the pool, you are not allowed to play with a ball, your not allowed a pool float, the bottom of the pool floor is covered in stones and it didn't get hovered the whole week we were there. So I would not recommend this hotel......
