This town was once a delightful fishing village which has now become a popular tourist hot spot due to diverse culture, sandy beaches and endless opportunities for activities such as kite surfing and water-sports.

Nice holiday
Just returned from a week in room 2207
We arrived at around 12:30pm after travelling for quite a while, so we were really hoping to get checked in and have a shower. We weren’t aware that check-in wasn’t until 3pm, but reception took my mobile number and said they’d call if our room became available sooner. They gave us a map and basically left us to find our way around, which wasn’t really helpful it’s a really big resort.
About 30 minutes later we got the call to say our room was ready. We were in room 2207, a lovely two bed suite. After reading so many posts on here, the first thing we checked was the air conditioning and initially it wasn’t working! However, this turned out to be user error we hadn’t realised you had to take the remote off the wall and point it directly at the unit. Reception sorted it immediately, so no complaints there.
The bed was massive and really comfortable. It was on the firmer side, but that’s exactly how I like it. We had both a shower and a bath in the room, although there wasn’t a plug for the bath, which didn’t really matter to us as the shower was spot on. The walk in wardrobe was a great touch and made it easy to keep the room tidy. The safe was also free to use and really easy to operate.
The food was actually one of the biggest surprises for me. I’m quite a food snob, but I thought the food was good throughout our stay, with plenty of choice all day, every day. We ate out a couple of times and, honestly, I wouldn’t say the food was any better outside the hotel. We did manage to book the Al carte which was ok but I wouldn’t rush to book it again.
The sunbed situation was also great. We had absolutely no problem getting beds. We normally went down around 9am, put our towels down and then went for breakfast before coming back and getting ourselves set up for the day. So, despite some of the things I’d read beforehand, we found the sunbeds really easy.
Cleaners around cleaning up all of the time, our room was cleaned everyday no matter what time they always came back. Restaurants and bars always being cleaned.
We didn’t see much of the entertainment, so I can’t really comment on that although the 1 night we did sit for the last hour we did really enjoy it. I think the hotel is lacking in bars around the pool areas, and only one of the pools seemed to have much going on in terms of activities. If, like me, you enjoy people watching, the other pools are very quiet, with very little happening and not even much music. We didn’t really mind this, but it did make the holiday feel very quiet.
There’s no smoking around the sun loungers, although people were vaping and nobody seemed to mind. The hotel definitely lacks bars, and although cocktails are advertised on the menu, they don’t really seem to do them properly. The cocktail of the day comes pre made in a jug and, to be honest, wasn’t great. The other drinks were okay, although the coffee was pretty awful! 😂
The plastic cup system is a good idea for keeping the pool areas clean, but remembering to carry your tokens around is a bit of a ball ache! 🙄
Overall, it’s a nice place for a cheap holiday. We had a good time and there were definitely positives, particularly the food, our room and the fact we never struggled for a sunbed. However, for what we paid, I probably wouldn’t rush back. I’d say it’s worth considering if you get a cheap deal and need a quiet break! This was our room 2207 nice relaxing holiday had by all ☺️

Great Location
Returned to Aluna Suites. Great hotel, spotless, great location. Good selection of food, not quite as good as last year but still good, but mainly restricted to main meal times. Snack choices outside meal times were poor. AI bar till 11pm. Cocktails were pre mixed in a jug and there was just 1 choice per day, some better than others. You can pay for premium cocktails separately. Beware My Favourite Club bar finishes at 6pm. Our friends paid for Adults Only but advised it's not worth it due to restrictions on bar times, you have to use the main complex after 6pm. WiFi very hit and miss. Rooms are lovely and spacious. Grounds are beautiful. Plenty of pools and beds. Overall great hotel and location. Lovely cocktail bar across the road with direct access to popcorn beach.

The staff are really friendly and approachable. They work incredibly hard to make sure everyone is catered for both in and out of the catering areas.
The drive to the airport did not feel long at all. Easily accessible hotel by taxi, bus and shuttle.
We were given a bottle of processeco as it was our wedding anniversary. The staff did want to celebrate and they do care that youre having a good time.
The entertainment is worth a watch as the atmosphere was lovely when we went. Lots of people dancing along and having a nice time.
The location is a nice spot and the walk into corralejo isnt far. No. 6 bus to the beach was also cheap €1.40 a person. The sunset bar opposite the hotel is worth a visit too.
The rooms out of MCF area were nice and spacious large bed. Bathroom was good size. The rooms were cleaned daily and it was nice and clean when we came back to the room. Air conditioning was working well when we stayed no problems. The rooms are quiet when we stayed out of 6 weeks holidays (5202). Bottle of water was available in our room as well. Although theres a shop inside the complex and just outside (hipodino open until late).
We were not fighting for sunbed spaces and visited the pool both morning and afternoon and always found some. Although people were reserving sunbeds the staff were keeping on top of this the best they could.
We would absolutely return again
Family hol alua suites
Our overall experience was great kids loved the pools our rooms were kept very clean any problems solved promptly. The singers we're of a good standard 1 in particular divine she was a fantastic singer. Food was a bit hit and miss for me but I'm a fussy eater seafood lovers will be in heaven. I would definitely stay here again
Relaxing stay at MFC
We stayed for 10 nights, first time in Fuerteventura. We booked the My Favourite Club as part of EasyJet package.
Location - close to popcorn beach and not central, however we liked this and knew before we booked. Took about 20 mins to walk to old town/music square and around an hour along the beach up to Grand Playa beach.
Facilities - Rooms lovely and spacious with big bed, good aircon. Everywhere is clean with nice gardens. Hubby used the gym a few times, no aircon but good selection of equipment for a hotel. Quite a few pools that are lovely and cool, although our MFC was a bit miserable no music, closed at 6pm and the most miserable lifeguard in the world.
Food - we aren't fussy and have stayed in lots of 4* star AI so found something most days but as other reviews said most of the time it was like warm and not a huge selection. The food was nice in the Spanish restaurant but nothing special, same with the MFC one. They will make you omelette in the MFC breakfast area and the pastries amd fruit are lovely.
Overall we had a nice time, closer to a 3* in my opinion but great if you just want a cheap week in the sun. We probably won't return as like to visit different countries each year.
