- Caleta de Fuste
- Villa Florida

This Galician-style apartment complex is situated just 200 m from the wonderful sandy beach of Caleta de Fuste on the popular holiday island of Fuerteventura. It features 3,700 m2 of gardens, pool and children's pool, an own shopping centre and an Italian ice-cream parlour. Two golf courses are within walking distance; the international airport can be reached within a short drive.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Shocked at what we had to look at all holiday, no help from both hotel and holiday company
All this place has got for it is the location Nothing else was good Would not stay here again
Just completed 12 nights at the Villa Florida and again no complaints. I emailed in advance asking for particular rooms in the Red Square and to our delight the reception team managed to give us one of our choices. Check in again very pleasant, informative, quick and smooth and in our room before 12 noon. Since our last visit WIFI is now installed into the individual apartments and this was extremely quick downloading, so a massive improvement on previous years. Cleaners visited every other day with clean towels and toilet roll top ups, as well as the obligatory sweeping & mopping of the floors. We had a couple of visits to the pool bar, whilst there and it is what it is, you either like it, tolerate it or just don't use it, we saw every emotion. No Sun bed wars, there were always beds available no matter what time of day you turned up, and we found the lifeguard very friendly and polite. Yes, the Red Zone properties that overlook the Caleta Gardens haven't the best view you can get, but unfortunately theres not a lot at this time the VF can do as it's out of their hands. Will definitely return to VF as the location and property suits us to the ground.
A short 4 night break from life. Arrived 9.30pm to be greeted by a lovely Argentinian man on reception, he was very quick at checking us in as he could see we wanted to get out to the England match. He was friendly and funny. We got to our apartment, 157, and dumped our bags and headed out to the Rock Arena, less than 150m away. Once back I have to say, I was impressed with the cleanliness of the apartment. It had everything we needed and not once did we see any bugs. no air con in our apartment but I believe you can upgrade. It didn’t matter as there were fans for us and no direct sun into windows/doors. Tv was large and had English channels. We spent time around the pool and were always able to get a lounger, even when we went at lunch time or mid afternoon. The pool bar wasn’t open on the Sunday but there are plenty of supermarkets to pick up snacks and drinks. There is no music or entertainment around the pool area but we didn’t mind as chatted to other guests. Cleaning team were friendly and always said hello and when bumping into the receptionist, he remembered us, which was a nice touch. Pool bar soft drinks were overpriced and cheaper at supermarket but €5 for a cocktail was good value and there was plenty of ice creams to buy too. Although known as a windy island, not a lot of wind around the pool as surrounded by apartments. Overall we would definitely book again but if taking our kids we might look for somewhere a bit livelier. It was perfect for what we wanted.
Should be 1 star, bedroom is horendous, - 2 rock hard single beds pushed together inpossible to sleep or do anything on it plus no aircon just a faulty fan on the ceiling lamp making loud noises all night.... absolute hell its neen for is for 2 weeks, never again...and no option to upgrade room or bed. Decor is from the 80s, no vents in the shower room so it gets stinky, no shower gel provided, brocken kithionete worktop screwed back together, very very poor hotel, would not ever co.e back even for free, worst I ever stayed in.
