Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We booked this hotel last minute after easyJet cancelled our flight and we honestly couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome.
From the phone call in the middle of the night, when the staff reassured us that they would do their very best to have our rooms ready as soon as possible the following day, to checking us in early, the service was exceptional. Every member of staff we came across was incredibly helpful and friendly.
Our room was spacious and clean, although the furniture is a little dated. We had a lovely view, although we didn’t have a sea view. Breakfast was good and having a supermarket on site was very convenient.
The hotel can get a little noisy at times, but this is to be expected in a holiday hotel and it certainly didn’t spoil our stay. There is no air conditioning, but we slept with the windows slightly open and found it absolutely fine.
As long as you don’t expect fine dining and luxury, this is a lovely 3-star hotel. I completely agree with a previous review that it’s a 3-star hotel that offers 5-star service. The staff really do make this hotel special.
Thank you so much for rescuing us at the last minute and for your wonderful hospitality. We really appreciated how much you did to make a stressful situation so much easier. We would definitely recommend the hotel.
We stopped 10 days and paid extra for a sea view dont bother not worth it . We had a 2 bedroomed room which sleeps 5 in the pictures you are made to believe a proper bed as the 5th bed its not and was like a camp bed very hard and uncomfortable. The other beds were ok rooms to hot no air con which I missed when booking . Rooms to hot and you have to pay to hire a fan comical really as should be standard in a room however not .
The pool areas are kept very clean and safe for kids as we took our 3 grandkids twins 10 and one at 12 .
The entertainment was ok not really for the age group of my grandkids more younger children.
The food very poor after paying all inclusive we ate out 7 night as kids were hungry and wanted some tasty hot food . As its always just luke warm no variety and very bland
The location is brilliant that is the positive plenty around to do which was a saving grace at night for us .
A shout out to the 2 male staff in the bar that opens at 6pm some lovely others just couldn't give you a smile .
Live the pub on site dog and duck That was a big bonus thank you however you have to pay for your drinks bit I was ok with this as different atmosphere.
I would go back to fuertventura however not rhe same hotel.
If you looking for something to do try the warer park a great day out and very safe and all close together really enjoyed it as a family .
A really good location, near to shops and bars but not on the doorstep. The hotel is clean and staff very friendly, but does need updating. It needs privacy curtains in the rooms as everyone can see in. AC is a must. We had a pool view but I think a sea view would have been better as it would have given us more air. Food is very good but a bit boring after a few days, not even breakfast had any changes at all in the 2 weeks we stayed. The pool areas get full very quickly they are cleaned daily but the cleaning dont starts till about 8.15am. The beach and marina are about 10 to 15 min walk along the sea front, it was a lovely walk and if you are lucky you will see the Chipmonks. The entertainment was good but it finishes about 10.20pm then there is no background music at all and the bar is open until 12.00. It in all we have had a great holiday but we don't want to return to Fuerteventura as it is far too windy for us.
Second visit to this hotel we arrived midday and last year we was able to check in straight away this year we were told there was a wait and reception would give us a call as soon as our room was ready. We headed off to the pool had a few drinks and waited for our phone call got to 3.30 no call. We headed to reception where we was told our room was ready so disappointed that we didn’t get a phone call which was a letdown, but saying this once we got in our room we were happy as had booked a sea view and had a lovely outlook room was clean and tidy. We had cleaners in every day which was amazing. We only ate breakfast at the hotel which was good and plenty of choice we learned from previous experience that evening meals were not the best so chose to eat out every night. Hotel is 5-10 min walk to the harbour and the main centre. Lovely bars and restaurants to be found only let down was the lads who squat in Caleta Gardens offering drugs every time you pass and constantly watching you walk by, and we had been warned from locals that they carried knives and were robbing hotel rooms although we did it not experience this at our hotel, but bear in this in mind when you do leave your cases are left in an unlocked room so I think this could be looked at and made safe for your guests. We pay €25 for late checkout at 2 pm love the dog and duck pub on site but you do pay for your drinks and snacks in there as it’s not part of the all-inclusive. Really do need air-conditioning in the rooms as the fans that you hire are really no good and obviously you have to pay for them too. This hotel could be made really special if a few upgrades were made. All areas were clean and tidy. It was guests leaving stuff lying about that let it down. You have to be up early to reserve a bed and you have to sit on them or your towels could be taken away although saying this we did watch the guy who worked there literally take towels from one row of sunbeds then headed in side which was a bit weird if you’re going to take the towels take them all. Entertainment is quite loud in the evenings if you did want an early night you have no chance of sleeping until 10-10:30 pm entertainment is more aimed at children rather than adults but saying that like I stated we headed out every night rather than sitting in the hotel. So there are some pluses and some negatives of this hotel, but I would still return again just be careful if you do go into Caleta de fuste of these guys and keep valuables close by.
Nice and clean hotel, good choice of food especially for a 3 star. Always sunbeds available and pool is clean.
Only negatives I would say is the bar closing at 11pm is abit too early and the fact security forcing people to go to bed and to not sit downstairs.
Entertainment finishes too early I think.
Other than that it’s a good hotel and above expectations for a 3 star.
