Elba Castillo San Jorge and Antigua

First time staying at this hotel Great staff,lovely food and drink Brilliant location and views Now to the negatives Poor wifi keeps dropping out Rooms have no air-conditioning however you can open your balcony door to get a nice breeze in the room However if like us non smokers you get smokers in the room next to you,smoking on their balcony,then you get all of the fumes in your room Maybe put smokers and non smokers in different locations if possible Nothing worse when you don't smoke and have to shut the door on a already red hot room

Definately a 3 star hotel. For the size of the hotel it was definately tired in places and could do with revamping the dining area especially. The food was very disapointing, not good quality meat and fish (manly Tilapia). More than 3 guests we met at the hotel had food posioning, one a disabled gentleman who was hositalised overnight on this trip. Hardly suprising when the Goat curry still had fur on the meat and when staff were shown this they did not replace it for other guests. We were upgraded to a suite as our flights were delayed, which ended up being disapointing, as the food was so bad and we had no kitchen facilities. The pools were overcrowded and a bit scummy, which was disapointing. The evening entertainment was a bit mundane. Definately a family orentated hotel, not designed for couple.
