No sound insulation
Sadly this is an uncomfortable hotel not worthy of it's 4 star rating. The walls are paper thin you can hear everything next door and you spend your days listening to heavy chairs being scraped across balconies . Wifi never reached our room and the pool area is like a nightclub during the day. The staff seem totally disinterested. My daughter and get husband had dinner and it was cold
Avoid this hotel
Please avoid this hotel if you have any sense. On Tui it states it's near bars and restaurants which is almost true but it's 3 restaurants avoid the indian that's very bad. the hotel is clean but they are very strict with eating times and apparently with all inclusive bar times. If your half board you put in rooms with absolutely no view and it's a dark dingy room. You can not purchase a drink inside the hotel. Local Spar shop shuts at 9pm. All in all not a great hotel for families the tui rep is rude and pushy. I over heard a man saying she reminded of the transvestite off the tv show Benidorm.

Overall Good
We stayed in room 335, it had a lovely view and was cleaned every day, we upgraded our room before we arrived but didn’t receive the pool towels, that we should have with our room, we also wasn’t allowed a late check out, even though that was something that was advertised with our room upgrade. Instead We had to get ready in a room that had no air conditioning and was like a sauna. There was lots to like about this hotel but a few annoying things. The annoying things are: the wait times at the bar, as there was only one bar open for the whole hotel.
Some of the waiting staff in the restaurant, were not paying much attention to who was coming in and out and some people got served multiple times before others had been served at all. In a 5 night stay we had 3 times where we waited roughly 30 mins for a drink.
The beach has a sectioned off area which looks like it’s part of the hotel but the sun loungers you have to pay for even though the hut which charges you, says Elba on it and also there’s no bar near it.
The good bits, I am the most fussiest of eaters and every meal I found something, as there was lots of choice.
The rooms were clean and tidy.
Maintenance staff were on top of things and quick to sort any problems.
The pools were nice and area kept tidy.
I would recommend this hotel but I would love it if little details were to be looked at.
A good break with one major issue.
We found the hotel and grounds adequate for our stay. Food was quite varied with theme nights for dinner. Most areas were clean and tidy. Only twenty minutes transfer from the airport. The biggest downfall was that one of our party had a theft from their room! It must have been during room service as no forced entry was observed. Money and two football shirts were taken, one shirt was personalised and had great sentimental value. Reception staff and management weren't particularly interested but an official report was made to the local police. We later discovered there was another theft, brazenly committed at night whilst the occupants were asleep! The Jet2 rep was as helpful as she could be but had no jurisdiction.
Nice hotel shame about the food
Just returned from a 2 week stay here with my wife and 3 children. I can honestly say this is a good hotel but the only thing really that lets it down is the food and also it’s more aimed towards the French in my opinion but again it didn’t really impact us that much. Pros Great beach location and a 20 min coastal walk to the town or €3 in a taxi. Staff nice and pleasant. Good pools.
Cons Food not great but on themed nights was okish. More aimed towards the French, Fram tour operator onsite. Dinning room was manic if you came to eat mid service. We chose to eat out the second week.
Would we come again probably not reason being we have been to the resort twice , previously staying next door at the Elba Sarah and in my opinion just beats this hotel on food. If you have booked this or are planning to don’t worry you will have a good time it’s a decent hotel but make sure you get a pool/sea view as we noticed some rooms overlooked the delivery entrance to the Atlántico shopping centre.
