Broncemar Beach

Location is fab, few minutes walk to shops, restaurants and beach. Great Location. Atmosphere was really good. Very busy though and had to get up at 4am for a lounger. Lively around the pool. Immaculately clean pools beautiful.

Kids liked to run around in the evenings with other kids and play on the park. Entertainment at night was poor tbh most nights but the kids liked running around and didn't like the shows at all only the animation team one.

Food was fantastic really. Quality food and great choice. Desserts choice could have been better and the snacks need improving for sure bit could always grab a toastie.

Room fab. Big balcony overlooking kids pool. Spacious, clean. Premier room was nice but not keen on a bathroom with no door? Great Location of the rooms though couldn't be better!

Fizzy drinks and water machine self serve which was great. Don't drink alcohol so can't comment though my dad said the beer was great and they serve in large frozen tankards which he was happy about.

Only real crisis is the toilets in the pool/bar area. Only 3 for whole complex. Didn't find any others. Need updating. Always dirty, seats don't fit etc defo need a refurb. No courtesy room on the last day means getting changed in wet dirty toilets. There was a toilet to use upstairs in reception but only 1 and wasn't ever available.

All in all a fab holiday. Pools, food and room I would stay again.

We have just returned from this hotel and thought it was fantastic. Here is bit of an overview;

Rooms: The had a 2 bed family room which consisted of 2 bedrooms and a lounge/kitchen area. The rooms were spacious and well laid out giving us plenty of space. I was unsure how we would cope without air con but honestly by the second day we forgot all about it and the fans being on/windows open was enough. The cleaning was inconsistent - only one proper clean the whole time and some days we had to ask for towels as these hadnt been replaced. The reception team were great at sorting this.

Daytime entertainment: The amazing Emma created the most fun and friendly environment for activities. She led a great team - including Mathis, Karima and Fanny. There was a good range of activities by the staff who were encouraging but not pushy in terms of getting people involved.

Evening entertainment: Again a special mention to Emma who made sure everyone was involved, happy and felt welcome. Some of the shows were good but some of the visiting acts were awful - the African dancing/drumming one needs to go, it was painful to watch.

Food: The food was okay and even the fussy easters of us managed to eat something every day - even if it was just chips, pizza or pizza. There was a very high salt content in all the food and it was very oily. More choice of foods would be great. Also much clearer signs are needed for the food, as they seemed to be scattered randomly by the food and didn't align to what it was - this is very important for those who do not eat meat. I often avoided dishes as I could not be sure what it was.

Pool bar: The service from staff was excellent. After a day or two many of the waiters knew what drinks we would order and pretty much had them ready for us - this was lovely as it made us feel very welcome. The 'All inclusive' snack area wasn't great and there could be more variety here.

Pool: The pool area was very clean and in early/mid July we always managed to get a sunbed. Although we didn't have small children with us the splash area and children's pool looked lovely.

Local area: The beach is a 5 min walk and is absolutely beautiful. There are lots of shops, restaurants and supermarkets very close by. We didn't venture out too much but did go to 'Bar Studs' one evening to watch an England World Cup match and the atmosphere was fantastic - I would definitely recommend this place for any sports.

Overall, this is a great hotel. I don't usually return to hotels as I like to try out new places but I would absolutely go back here - especially if Emma is still around as she really made this holiday stand out for us.

Things that could be improved; -Please give the animation team a budget to update their equipment as some of it is getting very old. -Cleaning could be more consistent. -Better signs for the food and a bit more variety.

Having been to the broncemar over the years this is the worst it's gotten, it's overcrowded, the restaurant is diabolical, very little food left and not re stocked enough, drinks machines running dry. All the food is covered in oil, the man who is ment to make eggs in the morning was more concerned about making one pretty Spanish lady an omelette and leaving about 20 others waiting whilst their food they had managed to salvage from the scraps left went cold. If you like stews and cold pasta it's going to be good for you 👍, the salad bar leaves a lot to be desired.. pickled onions, grated carrots and tinned sardines, with the odd cheese board . You can guess the soup by what was left the previous day. We called it "leftover soup ". The drinks machines if they had drinks in were great but try finding a glass or cup to put them in. Now sunbeds.. impossible.. unless you wake up at 6am as they're all gone. Rooms were cleaned to a basic standard the bed were changed once in 7 days. The staff were friendly and helpful apart from grumpy egg guy on a morning who basically looks like he hates the place and a waiter who is tall with a man bun in his hair that likes to interup your meals to tell you to leave as its closing soon and then closes off half the dining room with chairs. The games room consists of two broken unusable pool tables and a table tennis table. There's electrical sockets damaged and hanging from behind an old unplugged driving game and that's about it. I've honestly never been to an all inclusive hotel and wished to go home until now. The only thing I can imagine keeping this place open is the entertainment staff and the waiters who are all lovely. Ohh and if yiu decide to come here bring pool shoes as the poolside is so slippy I've seen people falling over 3 times this week and even the restaurant and bar area have loads of food spills on the floor. They don't allow mobility scooters either. I'd say aesthetically it looks lovely.. it's more all fur coat and no knickers. Avoid!!
