- Fuerteventura Holidays
- Caleta de Fuste
- Broncemar Beach

Designed as a small village, with pedestrian streets, squares and gardens, this hotel complex is located just 300 metres from Caleta de Fuste Beach. Thanks to the location and easy access to public transportation links, this hotel is ideal for a beach holiday and is also a great starting point from which to explore the island. The island's capital of Puerto de Rosario is about 10 km from the hotel and Fuerteventura international airport is 7 km away. Nearby, is Caleta de Fuste, a charming fishing village with a marina and a variety of restaurants, bars and shops.
Just returned from a 11 night family holiday. 2 adults and 2 children age 13 and 17. The hotel is amazing. The communial areas (pool, bar, restaurant, gardens) are lovely and clean and well maintained. Pool - The pools are of a good size and very easy to get in and out. Sunbeds comfy. They do get reserved from about 7am. There are not that many parasols. Sunbeds can sometimes be put very close together so bare it in mind. We got a table to give some space. Rooms - we had a 2 bedroom apartment. Really spacious and lots of storage. NO AIR CON but the ceiling fans were enough. 2 bedroom rooms are on upper floors. We had 2 balconies. Two single beds pushed together in both bedrooms (we seperated one for kids) double pull out sofa bed in lounge/kitchen area. Kitchen had fridge, kettle. Bathroom had shower hair dryer and shaving point. Food - was fantastic, we were all inclusive and there was plenty of options for all meals. Meat was cooked fresh and cut in front of you. Everyday was a theme and the only item which was duplicated (as in 2 bowls) was chips. The salads are fresh with loads of variety both with and without dressings. There were lots for kids to eat - spag bol, lasange, nuggets (not every day) plain pasta, veg pasta bake. Snack bar - make your own toasties, sandwiches plus other pots of nibbles. Late afternoon was sweet treats. Eat in restaurant or outside area. Drinks- self serve soft drinks, tea, coffee etc. Alcohol served at bar in reuseable cups. Theres 3 cocktails available on all inc however its €3 for a cocktail from menu if your on all inc. In the restaurant its self serve to drinks inc wine. But you can also get from bar and take into restaurant. Entertainment - the team are amazing. They work so hard and include everyone, even adults. My children loved watervolley, darts, walking on water to name but a few. Evening entertainment again was brill the only one which we didnt enjoy was the brazillian dancers but thats a personal opinion. Lots of people loved it. Fridays was white party which was so good had an amazing vibe. Location - 10 min walk to beach which is lovely slightly stoney buy the sea is clear. if you walk along the beach you will come to another beach which is beautiful walk a little further and there is a shopping centre with lovely coffee place and im told theres a mcdonalds! (We didnt visit maccies!) Total walk about 25 mins. Sunbeds on beach are €10 for 2 beds and parasol. Shops - less than 5 minutes walk. Turn right out of hotel and theres a china shop. Across the road is a designer shopping place pandora, guess bags, shoes, perfumes, sunglasses. Very much an airport duty free! Theres a hyperdino just across the road. Eating/drinking out - we only had lunch out once when on beach for the day. €60 for 2 pizzas, 1 wrap and 4 drinks. There are bars and restaurants within a 5/10 min walk. Its all very accessable no steps. Now for the down sides:
The cleanliness in other areas if complex was 100%. 2. Getting a table - if you dont go down to restaurant early (before 7.30pm) you may find it difficult to get a table especially when theres good entertainment (white party, quiz, shows) people tend to stay at the table till bed time. If you dont want to see the shows then you can take food to bar area. All in all a fantastuc family holiday and we would return without a doubt. Thank you for an awesone time! X
You don't want to stay here. Save your money and go somewhere else. Food is poor, cheap cuts of meat, pork everyday single day cooked numerous ways. Food runs out quickly and you can be waiting half an hour for it to be replaced. Cleaners made our bed once in a week. Cleaners are useless sometimes don't even show up. Poor area is hazardous. Extremely slippery on all surfaces. Seen people injured most days around the pool from falling over and even an ambulance called for one. This hotel is no better than a 3 star hotel. Don't no how they can call it a 4 Star. It's way way below.
Location of hotel is approx 20 minutes from fuerteventura airport. You can catch the coach transfer if you have booked it, but this does go to a lot of hotels before arriving at broncemar. We got a cab back to the airport as it only cost €18. Atmosphere was fantastic and reception staff very helpful and friendly and we checked in quickly with the electrical booking system that the hotel sent a few days before we arrived. Checking in took around 10 minutes as only 1 group in front of us. We booked the Premier double room which was very nice and had one of the largest beds i have ever slept in. Rooms cleaned daily with towels replaced. Cleaning team awesome 👌. Nice balcony for when you want some quiet time to chill. Very quiet away from the pool and dining area. A very happy family vibe with families enjoying the pool. 3 bars, but we only visited 1, the main bar in the square which opens at 10am, alcohol served from 11am. Free coffee and soft drinks available for AI and plenty of bar snacks if peckish, also tubs of ice cream in freezer. There is a bar along side the pool which is a sports and games bar which opens at 4pm and also small bar by reception. Breakfast starts 8am - 10.30 am with a selection of hot and cold food. Coffee machines, but a long que. Lunch 1pm-2.30 hot and cold food, plus soft drinks machine, self help beer tap with nice ice cold beer and bottles of wine in the ice bucket, just fill the glass. Dinner 7pm-10.30 pm. Again a large variety of hot and cold food, plus grill on the go. Very clean restaurant. No air con, but ceiling fan works well and rooms have a breeze. Leave fan on and close doors and windows when not in use. Overall the hotel was very clean and tidy and hotel staff were fantastic. Plenty to do and see outside of the hotel just turn right and walk 5 mins and you will see the centre for shops and bars. Market on Tuesday and Saturday from 10am - 2pm. Behind the Broncemar Beach Hotel and next to Kobe steak house. Visit the harbour and feed the fish for €1,see the seals in the harbour and the crabs on the rocks.
Just arrived back after spending 10 days at broncemar hotel. Had a brilliant time, the staff were good, the food was nice, the room was a good size and clean, location was brilliant for beach, bars, restaurants and shops. The entertainment throughout the day and evening was great for both adults and children especially the entertainment manager (Luigi) who was great and lead entertainer (Emma) who was absolutely amazing and made our holiday, would love to go back!!!
Visited in August with a group of 22 people across 7 rooms, ranging in age from 3 to 70. We therefore had a really good mix of opinions from the whole family, and this is our overall experience.
🍽️ Food & Drink
Breakfast was good, but unfortunately we found the other meals to be below average. The snack bar was particularly disappointing and, on several occasions, was so poorly stocked that it felt as though there was little point in having it.
The Amstel beer was good and nice and cold, and there were two cocktails included with the all-inclusive package. Soft drinks being available for self-service was also a positive.
The biggest issue, however, was the queues and lack of staff during busy periods. At times we waited 20 minutes or more to get served. A number of guests complained and were told that the hotel was at full capacity and experiencing staff shortages.
To be fair, some members of staff were working incredibly hard and were an absolute credit to the hotel. Unfortunately, others seemed much less willing to help, sometimes appearing more interested in collecting empty glasses than serving the guests waiting at the bar.
All-inclusive guests could purchase other cocktails for €3, and these were actually very good. However, this inevitably created even more queues. There were additional bars around the hotel, but these were only open at certain times. Having all the bars open during the busiest periods would have made a huge difference, although we appreciate the staffing situation made this difficult.
Breakfast could also become frustrating at busy times, with food and drinks regularly running out. There was only one coffee machine working during our stay, and it frequently ran out of milk. Again, it was frustrating to see staff collecting dishes rather than getting the machine sorted so guests could enjoy a coffee.
🛏️ Rooms
The biggest issue with the rooms was the lack of air conditioning. None of the rooms we had were air-conditioned.
The rooms with fully functioning ceiling fans were reasonably comfortable, but unfortunately around half of our rooms had fans that didn’t work as effectively as the others. With four people sharing a room, sleeping in the heat became extremely uncomfortable.
On the positive side, the rooms themselves were modern and the showers were excellent.
👩💼 Reception Staff
The reception team were brilliant. Everyone we dealt with was polite, friendly and informative, and they were a real credit to the hotel.
🏊 Hotel Facilities & Location
The pools were fabulous and the whole hotel was kept spotlessly clean. The location is also excellent, with a lovely beach nearby and plenty of great bars within walking distance, many of which stay open until around 3am.
The football area was only open at certain times, which was a shame, and the children’s park could definitely benefit from some refurbishment.
🎭 Entertainment — And the Amazing Emma!
The evening entertainment was okay, but without question the biggest positive of the hotel and our entire holiday was the entertainment team.
And in particular, Emma.
Emma was absolutely one of a kind. She was polite, incredibly energetic and had a wonderful smile that seemed to brighten everyone’s day. Every activity we joined in with was made so much fun by her, and she managed to involve people of all ages.
The aqua gym was the best we’ve ever experienced, and that was largely down to Emma’s enthusiasm and personality. She made everyone feel welcome and encouraged people to get involved without ever being pushy.
Emma is a huge credit to the Broncemar Beach Hotel. She genuinely seems to love her job, and that enthusiasm is infectious. From the youngest members of our group to the oldest, everyone had nothing but good things to say about her.
⭐ Overall
We were genuinely debating whether we would return to the Broncemar Beach Hotel.
However, if the hotel could improve the food, staffing and service, and Emma was still there, we would definitely consider coming back.
We’ve given the hotel 3 stars, but that’s not to say it couldn’t be much better. With some relatively minor improvements to the food, staffing and service — and hopefully keeping fantastic people like Emma — this hotel could easily be a 5-star experience.
A special thank you to Emma for making our holiday so much more enjoyable. She really was the star of the show! ⭐️
