We really liked tent in Torremolinos. The breakfast/brunch is generous and varied and I loved the coffee from the Nescafe machine for €2-well worth it if you are fussy about coffee. The website says it is 650 m from the beach-doesn’t say you need to find the escalator down (50c) We found this out ourselves but maybe inform people by putting it on the website- also plenty of ways to the beach via steps, again-you find this out for yourself. Rooms were cleaned every day for us.
We came for a week, was given 1st floor terrible view of the extractor fans and trash and lost towels etc on the floor so we could not sit out there. The room was never cleaned we called but they just brought towles and made the beds zero cleaning was done. It was too loud to sleep upstairs sounded like they were moving furniture all nights, lots of shouting, screaming and banging doors all night. The only good thing about this place is the brunch.
Excellent way to run a hotel. Really enjoyed the Brunch concept! All staff helpful and friendly. Will use again
Just back from a weeks stay here. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were on the top (11th) floor with sea view.Very quiet with lovely views. Hotel is just out of town but close enough to walk into main areas. Room was big, cleaned every day and bed was comfortable. Bathroom fine with plenty of hot water. TV had the 4 main uk terrestrial channels so good enough though u can connect a Chromecast if u have one. The all day brunch was of a fairly high quality, always something to please everyone. Only complaint would be that food was rarely hot,but that's always the way with buffet type restaurants. Would definitely stay here again Staff are also very helpful and friendly Absolutely recommend Tent to anyone.
The hotel is in a reasonably convenient location, about a 10-minute walk from the train station. The room was basic but clean. Amenities were minimal, with only a TV available, which requires connecting your own device via Chromecast.
One downside was the poor sound insulation. The walls and doors are quite thin, and I could clearly hear people talking and moving around in the corridor, which was sometimes disruptive.
Check-in is done through a self-service machine located next to the reception desk. While this can be efficient, assistance is available only when staff are free. During busy periods, getting help can take some time as staff are often occupied helping other guests navigate the check-in process.
Overall, the hotel is adequate for a short stay if you're looking for a clean, no-frills option, but it falls short in terms of comfort, amenities, and customer service.
