The international airport is just 8 km away. The hotel has a large outdoor pool surrounded by a delightful garden overlooking the sea perfect to spend a sunny day. Children will love the mini-club. Visitors can enjoy a delicious meal in the restaurant or some drinks and snacks in the bar. The family-friendly hotel offers spacious rooms with a friendly, welcoming decoration in a traditional Spanish style. They are equipped with all the essential amenities needed to have a pleasant and complete experience.

Will definitely be returning. Super hotel
We were sad to leave Sol Puerto Marina today but already planning our return next year. I wouldn't even consider looking for another hotel option. Sol Puerto Marina had everything we expected and more.
Firstly the staff were brilliant and so friendly. The day time entertainment by the pool catered for everyone and the guys providing the entertainment were fantastic. They had a water mat each day which was a big hit with young and old.
Lots of sunbeds available during the day. Not sure if that was just because of the time of year. Maybe they are less plentiful in peak season.
Location just on the promenade but a code is needed to come into the hotel grounds so everything feels very safe. When you come out the main reception door, Lidl is less than 10 minute walk, as is the bus stop, very cheap transport compared to taxis. Short walk to the marina where there are lots of fantastic restaurants. Also some gorgeous choices along the promenade in the direction of Torremolinos
We had a 1 bed apartment with a fantastic view of the marina and sea. Room was gorgeous very spacious for 2 adults and a 5 & 3 year old. Very clean also.
There is a nice selection of children's entertainment inside the hotel. Supermarket on the pool level and reasonably priced. Self service laundrette on site.
Pool bar is very good with nice variety of drinks and happy hour from 5 - 6. Very reasonably priced. We only ate there the first day and had breakfast on the last morning. Great selection and very clean.
Looking forward to our return next year

smelly room
stayed here many times this is worst visit stayed here from 4/10 to 14/10/2026 went on early morning flight from leeds bradford got to hotel at 12 30 pm went to check in told room not ready until 4 to 5 pm never been this late getting a room in 50 years traveling given room 2706 nice size room after first day terrible smell in room think it was coming through air con will fetch air freshners breakfast luke warm if that

Some positives, but the apartment wasn’t worth the price.
There were plenty of positives, but unfortunately, the apartment was not worth the price we paid.
We paid €2,200 for a two-bedroom apartment (room 2125) for seven nights in October, on a room-only basis. For that price, we expected a much better standard of accommodation.
The apartment was dated and in poor condition. The windows and doors were very old and did not close properly. The main living area was extremely dark, and although there was a lamp, there was nowhere to plug it in.
In the kitchen, a cupboard door was missing, there were no wine glasses or a decent-sized knife for cutting bread, and the kettle was faulty. It did not switch off automatically and just kept boiling.
The shower leaked water onto the bathroom floor, and the wardrobe doors were missing in one of the bedrooms.
On a positive note, the staff were very friendly, the hotel was spotlessly clean, and the location was excellent.
However, considering the €2,200 we paid and the poor condition of the apartment, we were very disappointed. While there were things we liked about the hotel, we simply did not get value for money and would not stay here again. If you thinking of staying in hotel make sure you don’t get 2125.

Disappointed
Stayed here last year and we had a fantastic time we decided to book this hotel again well very disappointed this time we stayed in room 2415 it was ok basic but noticed the bottom of the bathroom door was rotten and after a shower the water was leaking out onto the floor After the first night out I noticed bugs on the floor small black bugs moved very quickly on the floor then I went to get a drink in the kitchen area and something fast moved beside the kettle today we were getting ready to go home and I noticed the same bugs in the kitchen my partner seen them to and to me they looked like cockroaches

We would highly recommend the Sol Puerto Marina for the perfect holiday.
Stayed from September 15th to September 22nd 2026. We had a wonderful experience, perfect experience in all sections. Can not find anything to complain about. A friendly greeting when we arrived. Brilliant accommodation, swimming pool and entertainment excellent.
