This elegant hotel has a great location in a quiet area of Torremolinos in the popular holiday region of Costa del Sol, just a stone's throw away from the beach of El Bajondillo and separated from it only by the beach promenade. Guests will appreciate the extensive pool landscape surrounded by gardens as well as a wide variety of services and amenities. The centre of Torremolinos can be reached within a 10 minutes' walk and various golf courses are within easy reach. A great hotel for a beach holiday.

Lovely hotel, would visit again, few upgrades to make extra special
We have just returned from our stay and, overall, had a lovely holiday. My Spanish isnt fluent, but I do make an effort, especially as this was our second return to the hotel, but a regular visitor to Espana. The hotel has many positives and I hope the following feedback is taken as constructive because with a few improvements, it could be an even better experience.
The location is excellent, the facilities are well maintained, and the grounds are always clean and tidy. The pool area is kept clean; however, the sun loungers would really benefit from a thorough deep clean as they are beginning to show signs of heavy use and not early risers claiming with their towels, needs to have better control.
The restaurant team deserve special recognition. They work incredibly hard every day preparing and serving food with a smile. I often noticed guests who didn't speak Spanish walking away without even saying thank you, so I wanted to make a point of recognising their efforts. ¡Muchas gracias por vuestro trabajo y dedicación! The team truly are a credit to the hotel.
The entertainment team were fantastic. Olivia was brilliant, and although I can't remember the name of the young lady with the long dark hair who led the stretching and dance sessions, she was equally amazing. José's spin classes were excellent too, along with the rest of the entertainment team. We really enjoyed celebrating España winning the World Cup on the night; it was thoroughly deserved, and the entertainment team did a superb job. ¡Sois fantásticos! Gracias por hacer nuestras vacaciones tan divertidas.
The housekeeping staff were always friendly and worked hard, and the security staff were consistently welcoming, always greeting guests with a smile when leaving and returning to the resort. The lady who takes the professional photographs was also lovely.
Reception was a mixed experience. One receptionist was exceptional and deserves recognition. We had an early departure and needed an early breakfast arranged, and she couldn't have been more helpful—thank you.
Unfortunately, another interaction wasn't as positive. Housekeeping prepared our room for three guests but forgot to leave the third towel. We only realised late in the evening and asked reception for an additional towel. Instead of simply providing one, we were questioned repeatedly about why it had been missed. My response was, "¿Por qué te pones así por una toalla?" ("Why are you making such a big deal over a towel?"). It felt like an unnecessary interrogation over a very simple request. Small issues like this can leave a lasting impression, and I hope reception staff are encouraged to focus on resolving problems rather than questioning guests.
One suggestion for improvement would be sustainability. The hotel encourages guests to reuse pool towels by charging an additional €1 for replacements, which is understandable from an environmental perspective, but I do think if you are their for a week or so this should be changed automatically. However, for a hotel promoting sustainability, it was surprising that there wasn't a free filtered water refill station available. Installing water refill points would significantly reduce single-use plastic bottles, improve the guest experience, and better reflect the hotel's environmental goals.
Overall, I can understand why this hotel is marketed as a four-star property. The majority of the staff are genuinely wonderful, hardworking, and deserve recognition. There are just a few small details that, if addressed, would elevate the experience even further.

Best hotel we’ve stayed in
Just got back home after a 10 day stay, very clean and tidy hotel, room cleaned daily if required. Plenty of sun beds available as they put notices on peoples beds who put towels down and don’t go back as they remove them (great idea), plenty of food choices available for both myself a meat eater and my husband a vegetarian and I loved the food theme nights. One of the best hotels we’ve stayed in over visiting the area for the last 5 years. Entertainment was average but you can’t please everyone, we will definitely be back next year as it’s our 30th wedding anniversary next year thank you for a great stay 🙂 would 100% recommend this hotel to friends and family ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Holiday at the Sol don pablo
Last day of a fantastic week at the sol hotel don pablo We stayed in a superior room on 6th floor overlooking the pool area. Hotel is right on the beach front in very central location. Lovely modern rooms and bathrooms. Pool areas are amazing with plenty of sun beds. Could take our pick every day. No queues and very spacious between beds. Food is first class. Last night was Mexican night and was best hotel food we have ever had. The bar has happy hour every day between 5-6 pm and included branded spirits and cocktails and bottled beers and draught too. Staff were very friendly too. We will definitely return to this hotel.

Stayed on the 8th July for 4 nights when I arrived was told we had 2 rooms Of 3 as my eldest grand child e who is 15 is classed as an adult and my daughter her husband and other grandaughter put in a different room 4 floors apart told them I wanted rooms on same floor which they eventually did said they had upgraded them because it had a door between the two rooms and a kettle and charged me £136 pounds for felt I had been ripped off 6 of us 4 had the same surname and they split us up seems to get more money went to reception next day to complain about it they were not interested very disappointing

Location of hotel is ideal. Over looking the beach when seated in the beach bar. On arrival and going into our room (assessable room) I had to ask reception to move us as the room had a very stong odour which wasn't. However the staff on reception were brilliant and dealt with this and organised another room straight away. The room we were moved to was very clean. The cleaners are hardworking and very friendly. This is also the case with the reception staff and bar staff. The family went all inclusive which we would normally do when going on holiday. However on the back of this holiday will not do so again. We never really enjoyed the food I found the main restaurant on the lower ground always seemed to have an odour of a greasy spoon cafe about it. Due to this we ate lunch and dinner out most days. There were many beautiful fish restaurants and other restaurants along the sea front that we would recommend. A few nights the entertainment was good. The bar areas of an evening were slow moving, not due to staff but the hotel simply not having enough staff for the capacity of guests stopping at the hotel. There were various pools around the hotel but please note its worth knowing inflatables are not allowed. My mother struggled with this as she swims but due to her mobility she can only swim short distances. Due to this she usually likes to relax and keep cool in the heat in the pool on a small inflatable seat. This was not allowed. This stopped my mother from using the pool for the duration of the holiday which caused her to be restless in the dwytime in the heat. Not sure if this is due to H&S as I have never come across this on holidays before. Many adults an children a like were dissapointrd by this. Not sure if this is because the pools are quite small in comparison to other pools in other hotels we have stayed at. Overall the hotel was of a good standard but some areas of the hotel are quite dated for a 4 star hotel. Would we go back?? Unfortunately not.
