This historic hotel is situated just across the promenade in Torremolinos, in the quiet area between La Carihuela and Solymar districts a 10 to 15 minute walk from the centre of the popular resort. Links to the public transport are available within 100 metres and the Malaga airport is just 20 minutes' drive away. Overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, all of the dining options of the venue come with an added bonus of wonderful views. Regardless if one is enjoying a meal at the buffet restaurant, signature cocktail in the bar or snack in the garden, the sea will always be within his/hers gaze. The same holds true for the rooms, each of the well-appointed units comes with a balcony offering side or full sea views.

Great hotel
3rd visit , one of theose hotels where people return each year. Stayed for 9 nights. Food lovely as always , worth booking seaview room. Great location and righ on the beach. You can walk into Benelmadina harbour in 15 mins or walk other way to toremolinos . Evening entertainment every night in lovley bar with sea views. Only 1 comment and hopefully good feed back. As most of the guests are of a mature age it would be nice to have a little something going on some afternoons such as bingo or a cocktail making session or something of this nature . I think it would be much appriciated. We will definately be back next year. Already booked.

Our week at the Pez Espada
We have just returned from the hotel after a week's stay. I can not find fault with this hotel at all. Check in was absolutely seamless and staff were brilliant. Our room was 110 which was on the first floor with a fantastic sea view. The room was was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed and the view was excellent. The hotel food is very good, great breakfasts with plenty of choice. The evening meals were just as good and we could not fault the food quality and choice available. The bar staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful at all times, special call out to Juan, Ana,Vanessa for being very helpful. The whole experience of staying in the Pez Espada was relaxing, and being cared for by a hotel with brilliant staff from cleaners, bar staff, restaurant staff all go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. Thank you for a wonderful week, and hopefully see you next June.

Grand old hotel
Just returned from a lovely week in Pez Estrada I am always honest with my reviews as I think it can help others so here goes Hotel Pez is a fabulous hotel with style and history,as the large photos on the walls will show.everywhere immaculately clean.We were bed and breakfast and whilst there was plenty of variety it was often hard to get a table after 9am and things tended to run out quickly and the coffee machines were too few and often not working. We stayed in a junior suite which had a hot tub but we were unable to get in it due to the height and our age but we had a nice surprise as we had a little garden with 2 sun beds in and a gate that led out onto the promenade/beach All in all would recommend and have a suite if you can afford it

Good Hotel, Great Location, Poor Wifi!
We stayed in early September for 8 nights, half board with a side sea / pool view room. Check was very quick and efficient, we requested towels for the pool and were charged 20 euro deposit for each which is excessive particularly as they were really poor quality with holes. We exchanged them next day for some that were slightly better and eventually got some of the blue Medplaya towels which were far superior, talking to the pool staff they don't have many of those though.
The room we had was roomy with plenty of storage space and a free safe, the only issue was that the bathroom was for a disabled person with a small shower cubicle, sink on the wall with no storage for toiletries, this hadn't been requested.
As I mentioned in the title the wifi was woeful in the room, and we soon realised why there were so many people in the lobby area on phones, tablets and laptops!
The food in the restaurant was generally good quality and varied with a loose Country theme each night, I even had steak and kidney pie one night! I would say for anyone with children there wasn't much choice.
No issues with getting sun beds at anytime although those by the pool do go first, you have to be a little careful on the grass areas, when they have been watered in the morning it can get slippy and muddy in places. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others, I would say that there are several 4 star hotels in the area with better overall facilities in the same price range.

Amazing
Had the loveliest time at this hotel. Just went for a standard room and it was lovely. Bed was massive and comfy and had everything you would need. The rest of the hotel is also really really nice. Staff were all fantastic friendly and helpful. It’s in an amazing location on the beach and great for long walks along the beach front. Went half board and food was also lovely. Pools were nice and clean with plenty of sunbeds. Would definitely return.
