Me and my 3 friends stayed in Hotel Parasol the past week. The food on all inclusive was really good and the restaurant staff were brilliant and could not do more for us - Daniel specifically gave us such good service and always with a smile! The bar staff were also brilliant, Francisco and Jamie. The entertainment staff were amazing, we really enjoyed every activity and they make sure you are having a great holiday, especially Enzo! The hotel is in a great location, it is a short walk to the beach/beach clubs and has some lovely restaurants nearby. It also doesn’t cost much in a taxi to visit Benal Medena but there are buses too and the nightlife is fantastic over there. The hotel itself is also just a 10 minute drive from the airport.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel!
Francisco is the best bartender in the world. He is the main reason that we loved that 10 days.
Guillermo he was gentle and sweet, he was very fast to help us
Honesy review. Hotel is lovely inside first good impressions, rooms are clean and nice, however pool area is terrible, swimming pool is freezing. Not enough seats, whilst just sitting down eating or drinking outside. Its almost dark and dingy where you sit outside the pool bar. Entertainment wasn’t that good, we did go in April, so maybe this was because it was then. Food was the worst I’ve ever had at an all inclusive, staff really lovely though can’t fault them. Just needs a redo on the pool area and better entertainment. Surrounding areas not so great, wasn’t really lively nothing much to do around there. But only couple mins walk to the beach, and few restaurants around there. Might be some people’s taste but wasn’t ours we wouldn’t return here.
Location is good as a 2 minute walk to beach bars and restaurants which is good because you won’t want to be eating in the hotel or be by the pool! The rooms have obviously been recently refurbed but there’s no tea or coffee facilities, there’s very little thought on decor. The towels are tiny, and there’s not enough hangers or drawers. When they refurbed the rooms they forgot about the rest of the hotel. The restaurant is a bad layout. Food is really bland and the drinks are a joke. The pool is the real letdown. After I booked I realised there are very little images of the pool area and now we know why. All the sun loungers are on grass, muddy, bare grass. Therefore the white surround of the pool area constantly looks dirty and doesn’t get cleaned on a daily basis. There’s a fountain that doesn’t work and is an eyesore. The pool doesn’t get any sun until after 1pm. The pool bar is dark, dingy and stinks of the grease all the food is cooked in. This hotel is not a 4 star, or 3 star by any stretch. We made the most of it and used it as a base. The coffee shop around the corner, Waikiki has a great selection of food and drinks, and the Aruba beach club to the left when on the beach was our saviour!! The price of the holiday wasn’t extortionate however when booking a 4 star you expect a certain standard and this isn’t anywhere near it.
