This wonderful hotel is located in Torremolinos, the perfect place for a holiday trip. There are many restaurants, bars and cafes to visit and taste new flavours while creating new unforgettable moments. Visitors may also be pleased to spend a day at the beach, sunbathing in front of the Mediterranean Sea or having a refreshing dive in it. The complex has a bright look and is decorated with sophisticated furniture to make the guests stay the most comfortable and pleasant one. They may enjoy a lovely meal at the restaurant tasting delicious local specialities and international dishes or a refreshing drink by the pool at the poolside snack bar. Guests will be delighted by the nice, spacious and beautifully decorated rooms where they can have the rest they deserve after having a fun day full of activities.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Hotel is in need of an upgrade. No TUI rep at hotel when we arrived. Room extremely small for four people, pull down bed, when upright has dangerous two legs sticking out at head height. Poor decoration, wires exposed, holes in restaurant bathroom with mould. Paint chipping away, carpets dirty...
The Hotel was nice but not finished following a recent refurbishment. The rooms although cleaned daily, this was not to a good standard and often missing clean towels. The food, was nice and well presented and for the most part the dining room was clean and well maintained. All the staff were kind, friendly and helpful. My only complaint would be smoking, there were no designated smoking areas, therefore guest were able to smoke on the dining terrace, at the outside eating areas, around the pool and on the roof top bar terrace. As a family on none-smokers this was very unpleasant, we were unable to eat outside due to the impact of second hand smoke, on occasion had to move to a different area around the pool due to other guest smoking. The same occurred at the outside pool bar and roof terrace bar, this was very unpleasant, due to this we would be unlikely to book this hotel again.
Be careful if booking with TUI online. The rooms come up as promo rooms which as any would believe is a small discount for booking online which it certainly isn't. Promo means substandard rooms which are located in the basement, are former staff rooms, extremely worn out, clearly have damp which an attempt to paint over has failed and smell strongly of damp, and don't have a balcony. We were provided 2 of these rooms and immediately complained to reception who informed us that these were the rooms we had booked and pointed out promo on the booking form. The reception stated they could only move us to better quality rooms if we paid a further £630. We paid and immediately contacted TUI who offered a £120 goodwill voucher. We declined this requesting a refund for the extra we had to pay, after numerous emails TUI are still refusing to refund. TUI do not describe the rooms online accurately they are clearly misleading customers and the hotel seem to be aware as two other families had suffered the same whilst we were there.
This is our second stay at Las Palomas and would definitely recommend it and will come back again. All the staff are friendly and welcoming and with a 7year old the kids club and kids evening disco were a resounding hit. Plenty of food choices and the addition of a second pool (wasnt open on our visit) it should make the hotel even more appealing.
Just home from a 7 night stay with my family. We had a fantastic time. Hotel lovely and clean. Rooms cleaned daily. Lots of food selection. Animation team were superb. Would definitely return. Highly recommend. Close to the shops and beach
