This hotel is strategically situated in Torremolinos in the heart of the Costa del Sol, facing the beautiful sandy beach. Various excellent golf courses are within easy reach, and the centre of Malaga with its shopping facilities and business offices is only 12 km away. In the surroundings, there are many restaurants, bars and entertainment venues. The international airport is a few minutes ride away. Business guests will appreciate the venues the property offers to host business meetings, conferences and other private events for up to 600 people. The outdoor swimming pool area is perfect to sunbathe or have a relaxing swim. The elegant rooms are decorated with light colours and are equipped with all the essential needs for a wonderful stay. After a long working day, guests can exercise in the mini gym, or be pampered in the top-notch 350m² Thalasso Spa with a heated seawater pool, Turkish bath and sauna. At the Rooftop Sky & Sea (adults only) guests can enjoy the panoramic views over the Mediterranean, take a bath in the pool and have a cocktail at the bar. Customers who want "something more" can opt for The Level rooms (adults only) with exclusive access to the Rooftop The Level Lounge, with terrace, pool, relax area and drinks with snacks. An incredible hotel for business travelers in a magnificent and relaxing environment.

This is a Hotel of two halves-you should not have to pay more for service
I have given an average rating for this Melia as it is a Hotel of two halves....the staff at The Level were exceptional , friendly and extremely helpful, rooms immaculate.
BUT
The main Hotel left alot to be desired...there were two doorman at the door on our arrival completely uniterested in helping us with our luggage.
My son found three cock roaches in his room.
The staff in the main reception need to learn "customer service" from their colleagues at The Level
Excellent staff in the downstairs restaurant,but LEVEL- Lounge and denied Platinum benefits are a major disappointment!
As a loyal Meliá Rewards Platinum member for over 10 years, my recent one-week stay at Meliá Costa del Sol left me with a highly conflicted experience. While some aspects of the hospitality are wonderful, the premium services and loyalty benefits are failing to meet the expected standards. Here is the professional breakdown of my stay: 👏 Outstanding in the downstairs Restaurant Team: A major and well-deserved praise goes to the permanent team of waiters and kitchen staff in the ground floor restaurant. Their highly professional, fluent, warm, and heartfelt hospitality creates a truly positive and memorable atmosphere for guests. 🍫 Cheap & Outdated LEVEL -Lounge Concept: The afternoon and evening food selection in the LEVEL Rooftop Lounge is completely unacceptable for the premium price paid. Year after year, it consists only of cheap, sugary convenience items (mini-pastries, cream puffs, cake slices, and candies/marshmallows in large jars). For savory options, the hotel only offers basic crisps, olives in brine, and pickles. ❌ Shocking Contrast to Other Meliá City Hotels: Compared to another 4-star city property, Meliá Palma Marina in Mallorca, the contrast is entirely to Costa del Sol’s disadvantage. At Palma Marina, the LEVEL Lounge features a creative, healthy, and daily changing selection of savory mini-bites (multi-grain breads with fresh spreads, mini-salads, stuffed mini-buns, and pizza squares) beautifully presented by the chef. Costa del Sol's cheap sugar-and-crisps line does not offer proper value for money.🤖 Systemic Denial of Platinum Late Check-out: I have visited this hotel three times recently (twice during the off-season and once in high season). Every single time, I requested the official Platinum 14:00 late check-out upon arrival. Every single time, I was told to ask again on the morning of departure, only for three different receptionists to give the exact same robotic refusal: the room is unavailable due to an arriving guest. Offering a 30-minute shower room instead—even during the off-season when the hotel is half-empty—proves that management has an internal guideline to systematically bypass official Melia Rewards Platinum members loyalty promises. Summary: While the ground floor restaurant staff shines, the hotel management is cutting corners on the premium LEVEL concept and failing to honor Melia Rewards Platinum loyal customer guarantees. If you are paying extra for the LEVEL experience or expecting Melia Rewards Platinum recognition, you will not get a fair return on your money here.
Luxurious and carefree experience at The Level
Lovely and attentive staff in the Level. The Level concierges are super friendly, helpful, and professional. We loved the exclusivity of the private rooftop pool and lounge for The Level guests with a nice selection of all-day snacks and drinks available. The evening Happy Hour at the Level offered even more choice of beverages and canapés from 7-9 PM. Though we were there over a long weekend in July, the Level pool never got too crowded and loungers were always available. We reserved one of the cabanas on our last day and it was very nice and comfortable facing the ocean. While the hotel itself is rated 4 stars, the Level experience is closer to 5 stars where it’s a full-service and stress-free experience. On departure day, we had a late flight and were able to keep the room u til 2PM. We were then able to use the Level facilities until we departed the hotel at 6PM. There was even an option to use a courtesy room for a half hour period to shower and change before leaving.
Overall a luxurious experience which exceeded expectations.

cover ups in the beach restaurant
sitting with my family in the beach restaurant, and i was asked to put a top on the cover up which absolutely fine until i realised no one else was asked to cover up with a top or a something, at this point i was annoyed when the waiter who asked me to put this top on then was serving other girls and men with no tops and not asking them to cover up. overall my experience at this hotel has been amazing and still have a few days left. if i should have to cover up every one else should, it’s shouldn’t be based on how big or small you top half is.
Family getaway
Perfect location, plenty of bars, restaurants and shops around. Atmosphere was relaxing, great value for money. Rooms were very clean and to a high standard with replenishments each day. Staff were lovely and welcoming. Celebrated my birthday here too which they left a lovely bottle in the room as a surprise.
