Lovely hotel
Lovely hotel. Room cleaned & fresh towels daily. Staff pleasant & helpful. Nice pool & close to beach.
Nice hotel experience
Nice activities like quiz night, aqua gym and lots of other stuff to do at the hotel! Very nice staff!
İbersol Torremolinos Beach.
Excellent location; you can walk from the hotel pool to the beach in 1 or 2 minutes. The hotel staff are very helpful, the rooms are clean, and the reception is responsive to all needs. The food is varied and delicious.
Average not 4 star
Unfortunately, this hotel does not live up to its advertised 4-star rating.
On first impressions, you could easily believe you were staying in a 4-star hotel. The entrance and reception area look beautiful, and the hotel smells amazing. However, as soon as you reach your room, that 4-star experience quickly disappears.
The room itself was disappointing. There were no proper cups or crockery for making tea and coffee, just paper cups that were replaced daily. There weren’t even any small milk sachets provided. The fridge was warm, with no option to adjust the temperature to make it colder.
The bathroom was another issue. The shower tray was far too small, meaning that every time we showered, water flooded across the bathroom floor, even soaking the toilet roll.
To make matters worse, the receptionist informed us that we had been allocated the second-best room in the hotel, after the junior suite. If that was the case, I would hate to see what the other rooms were like! Our view was of the bins belonging to the neighbouring hotel, which was hardly what you would expect from one of the hotel’s supposedly better rooms.
The food was equally disappointing and certainly not what I would expect from a 4-star establishment. Every morning, the eggs and beans were cold, which really isn’t acceptable.
Overall, while the hotel makes a fantastic first impression, it sadly fails to deliver where it matters most. A beautiful reception area and a lovely smell do not make a hotel worthy of four stars. It’s the quality of the rooms, facilities, food and attention to detail that count.
Fantastic long weekend break.
I'm not sure about why all the negative reviews. We had a long weekend this month and the hotel was lovely. Big room overlooking the sea and beach. Cleaned and new towels every day (milk in the room would be nice). Pool towels at no cost with no deposit. Lovely pool area. We only had B&B but the breakfasts were lovely too. Didn't stay for entertainment so can't comment on this. We had plenty of walks along the front toward La Carihuela and up into Torremolinos. Got a cab to Benalmadena for about 13 euro's. Would stay again. Highly recommend Casero La Comida Mediterránea in Torremolinos for dinner, gorgeous tapas and lovely atmosphere.
