Leonardo Hotel Torremolinos Costa del Sol

I’d like to share an honest review of my experience at this hotel, we stayed for 3 days a group of 6 ladies for a short break away in the sun, we had previously read reviews which were very discouraging but had decided to go and see for ourselves! Well what can I say….. Never again!! The hotel is ancient in need of a full refurb! And for the staff ( except the maids) they are the rudest most ignorant people I’ve ever came across in the hospitality industry! Especially one of the barmen called Alberto, we were there on an all inclusive package which was a total joke ! No one was interested in serving you, no smile no manners, unless you went to the roof top bar where you had to pay, then they were slightly more approachable, or if it was after 11pm when you had to pay as all inclusive had ended. Then there’s the dining room ( draculas cave in the basement! No joke it was dull, dark, musty and ancient ! Food it was beige, bland and cold totally disgusting! First time ever I’ve done an all inclusive and lost weight!! The only bonus to or weekend was the weather !! also the hotel had been hosting to a lovely Irish band that we had the pleasure of enjoying some outdoor entertainment ! ( so thankyou to them)

Where do i begin? The staff were extremely rude. Our room was musty and smelled of cigarette smoke. The lifts take forever. The restaurant is in the basement - it's dark, dingy, has no windows and the food is almost inedible. The all inclusive drinks are extremely limited and poor quality, also only available until 11p.m. You have to pay for a decent drink or for any alcohol after 11p.m. Even then you will be served with a sense of great reluctance from rude staff. Even a request for a glass of water seemed a massive inconvenience!

The only positive things I can say are that the hotel is in a great location and the beds were comfortable.

We were lucky that our stay coincided with a band staying in the hotel and providing some first class entertainment by the pool and in the evening. Without them, our stay would have been nothing short of horrendous. Please avoid this place.

Well...where to start, don't even touch this place with a barge pole! 4 stars, more like a 1 star reluctantly.
Myself and my friends stayed here for several nights and were all-inclusive.
When we arrived to check-in, the staff were unfriendly and unwelcoming.
Our rooms were dated, but clean, the balcony we had felt like we were in a bin store it was so small! The beds were comfy which was the only positive thing to write about this hotel.
The bar staff were extremely rude, almost like they didn't want to serve you, basically turned their back on you whilst you were at the bar and you had to say excuse me to get thier attention. * Alberto was the worst! * Very rude and slammed down the drinks.
The food was awful, at was all cold and the restaurant was in a basement with no ventilation or windows, so there was always a foosty smell.
Now I know what the other review meant when they said this was like Dracula's cave. The Irish band were the only thing that saved and made our weekend away. There entertainment at the poolside was awesome! Please avoid this hotel at all costs unless you like a cold reception from staff, cold food and a stinky restaurant.
