Top Ckass Experience
Stayed in Costa del Sol Hotel for last week in April and found it perfect for a holiday.Lovely small hotel with friendly staff.Hamza and Marianna on reception were extremely helpful.Location perfect..Near beach and good restaurants.Taxis and bus outside the door and 10 min from Malaga Airport.Will definitely be back
Very disappointing.
Very unhappy. I booked this hotel through Agoda, staying for 3 nights with a family member. I booked and paid for a twin room advertised with a balcony, walk-in shower, twin beds and kettle. Of which I had none! The room I was given resembled the economy room with a double bed and shower over bath which was dangerously slippy and spongy. We also had to fix the bathroom door as it was jammed open. The bed was acceptable though the pillows were basic. The room could have been cleaner. Having spoken to the lady on reception, no alternative was offered. Very disappointing. Would not stay again.
Nice hotel but unsafe systems
Nice boutique hotel. We had a below ground room with a small window up high which gave off little natural light and we were unable to see out which felt awful. The shower screen was too small so water sprayed all over the floor when having a shower which soaked the floor and made it dangerous. The hotel wanted card details when checking in which they wrote down on a piece of card! We had travelled around Spain for 10 days and never once were we asked for our card details. This was unsafe and open to someone stealing card details… if card details are required then this should be through a secure card system and not written on a piece of card.
Cockroaches!!🤮
We decided to book our impromptu stay with Costa del Sol hotel after we had experienced a very pleasant stay in 2024.
However, this time we were greeted by nonetheless a BABY COCKROACH at the entrance of our room. A baby cockroach 🤮. It means that there is evidently an enormous infestation of cockroaches that is not being treated. That is unacceptable and extremely unhygienic!!
On the other note I need to mention this:

We payed almost 100e for 1 night stay - off season, only to be served a BASEMENT (S01) room with no proper windows and obviously poorly maintaned, accompanied by baby cockroaches as an appetizer.

Water pressure was a disaster! Shower did not have hot water (only lukewarm) and it made a huge leak after every shower. The bathroom ceiling is full of mold and water leak from the upper floor.

Management did nothing about the cockroach problem - only provided us with other room on the same floor 😂.
Needless to say we are never coming back again! Avoid this hotel at all costs!!!
