Firstly, I would like to say that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel itself was lovely, and we had no complaints until the final evening.
On our last night, my partner accidentally left her bag by the pool. At the time, we had no reason to suspect that it had been stolen, as we felt safe within the hotel. When we realised it was missing, we used the “Find My” feature to track her AirPods, which showed that they were still moving around the pool area.
We immediately informed hotel staff and asked if they could review the CCTV footage so we could identify what had happened. Unfortunately, our request was refused, and no immediate action was taken. Had the CCTV been checked when we first raised our concerns, there was a real possibility that the person responsible could have been identified before leaving the hotel.
Since then, the tracking location for the AirPods has updated and now shows them in Seville, strongly suggesting that the bag and its contents were stolen and taken away from the hotel.
We are extremely disappointed by the hotel’s response. While we understand there may be policies surrounding CCTV access, we expected the hotel to investigate the matter promptly on our behalf or involve security or the police if necessary. Instead, the delay meant that an opportunity to recover our belongings may have been lost.
I would appreciate an explanation as to why our request was not acted upon at the time and what procedures your hotel has in place for dealing with incidents of theft. I also ask that you investigate this matter fully and respond with the outcome of your investigation.
We recently stayed at Paloma Blanca Boutique to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday with our two teenage daughters, aged 19 and 21, and it did not disappoint. We were looking for a little haven where we could completely relax, and that’s exactly what we found.
The hotel has a lovely peaceful atmosphere with small but stylishly decorated rooms that were always spotless and very well attended to by housekeeping. The bar and pool areas were beautifully clean and never overly busy, which made it feel even more special and relaxing.
Towards the end of our stay, the hotel added gazebo, style loungers around the pool area, which made our final day extra special. We also loved the strict no towel reservation policy, meaning there was no battling for sunbeds each morning.
Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice, and the whole experience felt calm and unhurried. The location was ideal too, around a 20-minute walk to Puerto Banús along the beach, which was lovely to do in the sunshine.
Ubers were easy and quick to get from the hotel, so there was never any waiting around for taxis. We also hired bikes during our stay from the hotel, maybe a little TLC on the bikes wouldn't go a miss but we still had great fun.
We leave tomorrow and would definitely recommend Paloma Blanca Boutique for anyone looking for a relaxing break, and we would absolutely return.
Beautiful Hotel with great Location with Amazing staff . Every staff member would do their best to make your stay comfortable and pleasurable, especially MIGUEL , who is very polite , attentive and go extra mile to help you . Looking forward to more visits soon
We recently stayed at this establishment, which markets itself as a 'boutique hotel.' In reality, it felt much more like an overpriced motel. The experience was marred by several significant issues that overshadowed the few positives.
The rooms were extremely small and stuffy, making for an uncomfortable stay. While a kettle was provided, the attempt to nickel-and-dime guests with a €6 charge for a meager selection of basic tea and coffee sachets was frankly ridiculous and left a very poor impression.
The most frustrating incident occurred at night when we were locked out. The main doors were locked, and the single member of staff was busy assisting another guest. We were left waiting outside for well over half an hour. When we finally gained entry and brought up the unacceptable wait time, the staff member astonishingly called us liars and claimed we couldn't have been waiting that long. This level of unprofessionalism and disregard for a guest's experience is completely unacceptable. To top off the list of technological failures, the Wi-Fi connection was very poor throughout our stay.
On a positive note, the breakfast was acceptable, and the staff working in the restaurant and the cleaning team were consistently friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, their efforts could not compensate for the fundamental issues with the room quality and the appalling front desk service experience. I would advise travelers to manage their expectations—this is not a boutique hotel.
