This hotel is located on the edge of the holiday resort of Nerja, close to Capistrano and 1 km from the famous Burriana beach and the centre of Nerja. There is a town bus stop directly in front of the hotel. The beach hotel was built in 1984 and has a 200 m² garden. The hotel's facilities include a refined café, a bar and a conference room as well. Guests may park their cars in the car park. The en-suite rooms are well equipped with telephone, satellite TV and a safe. All rooms come with an air-conditioning system and Internet access, the majority feature a terrace. There is a pool with a spacious sun terrace. Also a golf course is 20 km away. A night-time entertainment programme is organized for the guests. On offer are breakfast and dinner in the form of a buffet. At lunchtime, the bar offers a selection of snacks from the menu.

Excellent Week at Nerja Club
This is an excellent hotel given it’s 3 stars and about half the price of the bigger chain hotels closer to town. The staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. The rooms are a bit on the small side but once everything stored away perfectly fine.
The evening meal was varied and there were theme nights. Breakfast not to my taste but always something to eat.
The hotel has a really relaxed vibe and is a great place to spend a relaxing week.
Bonus happy hour 4pm to 6pm in the sports bar

Poor rooms and food. Some grumpy service
On arrival at 2pm the reception was unmanned and when the receptionist came he was transactional, made no eye contact and was not welcoming. Our room was on the second floor. It’s the worst room I’ve ever had and I’ve visited some 25 countries. It was small and dark with poor lighting and very little storage other than a wardrobe. The bathroom door and frame had been refurbished with some stick on vinyl and was peeling off. It seems same technique used in other parts of the room eg gym area. The pool is OK but rather small. Arrive early to get a sunbed and brolly. Food is only served between 8am and 10am and 7pm until 9pm if you are on half board. Rarely used the onsite bar except for happy hour as it’s so expensive- local gin with tonic €14.40! The barman shouted at us because we stood at the bar and did not form a queue although there was no sign advising us of queue rule. Food is unfortunately poor both in quality and variety. I only found the roast chicken to be reasonable and the fish done ‘à la plancha’ - on the griddle. We made friends with another couple on holiday and they were eating in the restaurant and they said to join us so we pushed two small tables together and the waiter had a hissy fit although we weren’t obstructing anyone. I blame Jet2 for putting us in such a poor value / quality hotel. I would rate it as a two star at best, we had much better holidays in Fuerteventura and Rhodes recently with Jet2 for the same or less money. Beaches nearby are nice and we took a bus trip into the pretty little village of Figiliana and a day trip to Malaga where the castle and Picasso exhibitions are worth seeing

Very disappointing stay, would not recommend.
Sadly, we would not recommend the Nerja Club Hotel. From arrival, we experienced serious cleanliness and maintenance issues, including makeup-stained bedding, a blocked sink, dirty glasses, dirt in the toilet and, most concerningly, air conditioning dripping onto an exposed electrical socket/wire.
We were moved rooms, but then had ants entering through cracks in the walls and dead ants left on the floor. The replacement room also didn’t have the terrace we had originally booked.
There was also major construction directly next to the hotel, including a crane overlooking the pool, creating considerable noise and ruining the relaxing atmosphere.
Staff did try to resolve some issues, but having to move rooms and repeatedly report problems is not what you expect from a holiday. We found ourself spending most of our time away and out of the hotel due to these issues despite having paid for the hotel, so for that reason, unfortunately, we would not return or recommend to anyone.
Not Bad 😃
This hotel is generally good, the main pool and foyer/seating areas are clean and well maintained. The food is reasonably nice with a good good variety and fresh but not always as hot as it could be. There was no rush to get a sun lounger and found it was mainly couples that were staying, not many children. The staff are friendly and helpful.
The down side of this hotel is the the rooms are a bit tired looking and could do with some TLC. Some areas of our room had not been cleaned as it should be...but not dreadful. The bedding and towels changed regularly.
I would recommend this hotel if you are on a budget, be aware that this location is on a hill and it's a good walk down to the main town. Taxis are easily available if you ask at reception. Even with these little niggles, we enjoyed our stay.
Lovely break
Just returned from a lovely break nerja club very cute little hotel ok not a 5 star hotel but we love that I don’t like busy all inclusive hotels where u have to fight for a sunbed , nerja club is very nice traditional the staff was all lovely and helpful it is a walk to town or beach maybe 15 20 mins walk but we always asked reception to call us a taxi which came quick and was about 5 euros down to balcony Europe area or burriana beach which is gorgeous the shops streets and views amazing really lovely place xx recommend doing the kayak trip 20 or 30 euros for 2 hours to see waterfall amazing day making memory’s x We had bed and breakfast which was lovely and there is a kettle in room x the room was cleaned every day we was there and I loved the pool and sports bar also a mercadona supermarket next door and carrefour supermarket right opposite we loved nerja really pretty lovely place Spanish feels and we was lucky to be there when the fiesta blanca white Beach party was on which was a brilliant night evening party on the beach ! We had some lovely nights walking round the beautiful shops and tapas food in the town , every drink we ordered you get a tapas dish very good value for money , just what the doctor ordered and would return did not want to come home yet
