This apartment complex is situated at a walking distance from the Burriana beach, only about 40 min by car from Malaga airport. Guests can relax in the marvellous outdoor pool area sunbathing, relaxing under the shadow of an umbrella or having a refreshing and well-needed swim. For the ones who like to maintain the shape and rise their heart rate, the onsite gym is a fantastic option. The rooms have been decorated specially to make travellers feel like home. They are also equipped with all the essential amenities and some of them come with private pool.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

This is a wonderful place to stay if you want peace and quiet but access to all of Nerja and the beaches. We stayed here for 3 weeks in March 2025. The apartment was perfect, beds very comfortable and all facilities as shown. The 20 apartments are situated in a courtyard style around the pool, which unfortunately due to the weather was too cold to use. ( Although there is a small indoor poo ). The staff were brilliant, especially Beatrice and Manuel. The Mercadona supermarket is a 2 minute walk away and Carrefour is about 5mins. There are a few restaurants within a few minutes walk. The walk into Nerja or the Burriana beach was easy, but very hilly so coming back took a bit longer. Although Taxis are relatively cheap about 6euros from the Burriana beach. Buses ( more like coaches) are excellent and cheap. the only thing missing was perhaps a coffee shop or small bistro on the premises.
We also travelled with Brittany ferries, we had a car and bikes and it was great to be able to use the underground carpark. The apartment and surroundings were spotlessly clean, fresh towels every 3 days and bed change every week We stayed for the month of March, unfortunately the Weather was poor but we were just unlucky. Plenty of hot water and heating every evening and excellent staff, The supermarket is ridiculously close and its a nice walk into town along the top road. It suited our needs perfectly and we would hope to return next year Special call out to Beatrice who was so helpful
This is a great place to stay if you're looking for peace, tranquility and location. The rooms could do with a face-lift but they are spotlessly clean and the hotel are very helpful with everything. The sound of the birds morning and night are tranquil and the location is fantastic. Beach is stunning with plenty restaurants
Fantastic accommodation. We stayed in villa 12, a 3 bedroom with private pool. It was clean, comfortable, all amenities included. As we stayed in April the outdoor pool was pretty cold but the kids still enjoyed a swim. There is an indoor heated pool, gym and a games room with pool table. Lovely little place in a perfect area, walking distance to burriana and also the balcon area. Supermarket right across the road.
We have just returned from a fabulous two week family holiday ( 2 adults, 3 children 16,12 & 12) staying in one of the three bedroom villas at Marina Turquesa.
From the moment we walked into reception we were greeted with a friendly smile and checked in without any delay. The staff were always happy to help if needed throughout the stay and always friendly.
As we walked to our villa via the pool the whole complex was clean and tidy, we entered the villa which again was clean and tidy. We were pleasantly surprised by the space both upstairs and downstairs as well as the balcony's both front and rear. The small pool in the villa was great with the loungers it was another space to relax.
The villa had all we needed, the kitchen had all the pans, cutlery etc that was required. We did eat out most evenings but did cook a few times and had what we needed. The smart tv was a bonus for the children for when they wanted some time out of the sun and the wifi was sufficient for their needs.
There was a maid service every 3 days with towel changes and the beds are changed every 6 days.
You never needed to put a towel on a sunbed round the main pool, there is a relaxed environment with many of the other guest being, Spanish, Dutch, Scandinavian which gave it a nice feel. You can get towels for the pool from reception for just a 10 euro deposit. The pool is small but sufficient for the size of the complex and was never over crowded when we were there.
The gym was excellent and kept my 16 year old son busy for an hour or so each morning, as was the free pool table that occupied all three of them when again they wanted some shade from the sun.
There is a big supermarket that has all your needs and just a 3 minute walk so perfect location for when you have the heavy shopping bags with the beers, wine, water etc.
The walk to Burriana beach is all down hill and takes about 10 minutes, the beach is lovely with all sorts of activities on offer. There are also many restaurants, shops etc open all day and into the evening. The walk back to the apartments is is a calf burner but a good way to justify that extra beer or ice cream whilst on holiday.
The walk into Nerja central is around 15 - 20 mins but again a nice walk with lots to see and do when you get there. There are many variations of the walk in and out of town so you can see different things each time.
The water sports on the beach were great but best to book in advance if you have a day time you want to do them. The Kayak trip around the coast and to the waterfall is worth the 30 euro (20 for kids) price and the padel boards were 16 euro for an hour or 24 for two. The caves are only 10 minutes by car and also worth a visit.
All in all Nerja is a beautiful part of Spain with lots to see and do, Marina Turquesa is a lovely place to stay and I know we will return.
